Good Evening, It looks like we are both in the same bucket. Although you are a few steps ahead of me. I've got this 2004 Bruin and when you were looking at the timing, I can locate the "T" up at the chain but when I look thru the recoil hole, the two tick marks do not line up. The bike starts, but fails to utilize the start switch. The starter recoil is very strong and it snaps back very hard. It takes quite a few pulls of the rope before it does finally run.

I know the problem with that quad. So first thing you do is take that after market carb off and catch it and throw it over the ditch as hard as you possible can!

Bet it’s the trigger coil mine had the same problem.

More than likely, I've had one go before. Tests fine but need to get a better meter.

@@outdoorgorilla1493 mine tested fine too. There was spark intermittently and when the starter motor engaged very little but if I used the pull start the spark looked fine . It drove me mad . I replaced the stator as well and the ignition coil and the CDI . Had to get it right sooner or later 😂

Hey mate did you ever get to the bottom of it? I recently got a 350 Bruin and it’s doing the same thing, starts and idols but then will die and not start for a while

Check the gap never trust per gap!

worse thing on these quads is the stupid airbox. so big and awkward to remove and refit if you want to change the carburettor

Your intake boot is cracked. That is a big problem easy fix.

Are you going to reply to anyone??? We watch videos to learn a few things and when people post videos and don't respond...that's a bad thing especially for those who have the same ATV with issues. I even subscribed to your channel...what gives???
