Dalton... Way to be a stepping stone, not a stumbling block! As the Dad of an 18 year old son that just graduated this past Saturday I'm thankful for the story you told about earning & paying your way even at a young age. Bravo to you & your parents for setting a good example. I don't have a mechanical bone in my body & my son is the exact opposite... total gear head, but since sub'ing to your channel & watching together we have a lot more to talk about & do together (working on his yz250 & his truck) THANK YOU! Kind of in the same boat. Replaced the rings on my 1990 yz250 (old horsepower is better horsepower right!) as I'm breaking it in a crank bearing went out. But I'm just gonna do it right and get a new rod and bore it out for the second time put in another piston and rings. Thankfully it's sleeved so I can bore it out all day! Also Great video. Keep up the good work. :)

man that just shows you how you would raise a kid. make them work for there stuff and they will grow up to be a hard worker like you. you deserve every toy and can't you own.
I gotta redo the reared on my rancher. swing arm bearings went out and cause my pinion seal to go out. also may be a good idea to put a bit of silicone around the o-rings, and if that lip seal was dry and brittle try some grease on it. I'm a millwright/machinist by trade and that's something an older guy told me to do to lip seals that don't get oil on them constantly to keep them from drying out and getting brittle.

Hey Dalton just a tip I see you using your feet to break loose tough bolts. Puts a pipe on the end of the wrench or rachet for extra leverage and you can take it off easily. Works great!

We have a 300cc artic cat 4x4 farm quad that I rip around on all the time because I don't have the money to buy my quad. It is still fun to ride on. I think it is 1999. I there is several pictures of me on it when i was as young as 2. I am 16 now.Keep braping on I also what he'd your live stream

hi 3d machines i know you probably wont see this but if you use Vaseline on the seals they will hold water better and will last longer because they are lubricated. keep up the good work 👍
Hey mate spray 5 minute oven cleaner on the alloy parts they will come up like new with minimal effort 👍🏻

Im 14 and I’m an amazing macanic I’ve been doing this since I was 8 years old I’ve took a 2007 Yamaha wolverine engine completely apart and put it back together in about 3-5 weeks and the only thing I messed up with was the bolts in the side cover I broke a bolt off on the block only one lol and I had to drill and tap the hole eny ways after that I always put the bolts back where I got them from now I’m working on a Kawasaki bayou 220 it’s little but strong as hell and will pull the hats off if he’ll 😂 it’s old strong and reliable 😂 good luck with your videos you got your self a new subscriber 😃

you probably have an old lawn mower frame that you can set the back end down on to be able to wheel that quad around. BTW the video quality is very good.

Cleaning is the necessary evil all mechanics must face be they pro's or do it your self'ers. Better to do it right and less often than do it half arsed and repeat and repeat and repeat. Another great vid!

to loosen the bolts...
That's unique, I like it.
I usually just use the double wrench method...
Put close end on bolt
then next size wrench close end
on the open end of the other... and push.
I don't like cleanin the toys either,but....I spent 2 months building a bike,and a couple weeks adding this and that to complete it.Rode nice and easy for a month,to break it in.Then spring hit and the Freakin Mud.Arghhhh. 1< 15 minute ride,took over an Hour to clean off and out.It was Sandy type mud.You people know what I'm saying.And I didn't even hit 30mph.Well,,,rode about 25....LoL
