Hunters are fast, aggressive and in your face constantly - not strange at all that Rob doesn't like them. When you are not fully used to a controller, a fast-moving opponent is the worst. I think Rob did great, it takes a long time to perfect the side-step move on Hunters. What might help is to not shoot at all and just concentrate on practicing the dodging, it lets you observe and learn the Hunters melee pattern so you can anticipate what it will do next. Something for next time, perhaps. Really nice work on the Jackals, hand-head shots in quick succession, you can tell Rob's aim is improving, and especially target re-acquisition.
Yeah, they are pretty tough! Rob does great at picking off the grunts and jackals with his pistol. One thing I did notice is shooting the jackal arm to the side of the shield can be a bit wonky sometimes where it looks like the shot is lined up but there is no effect

Oh interesting! I never thought about it, but this does seem to be the first time we see jackals using needlers. I know in Halo 2 there is a unique case of jackals spawning with plasma rifles. If taking out the initially part, you could count swapping weapons with a Jackal on Sacred Icon I think? Makes sense considering the infamous reputation they got lol. On higher difficulties do they spot you faster in this or not at all until you start fighting?

@@x2zchat Agreed! I believe you have to shoot slightly more to the right of the shield and hand, from what I remember the hitbox is slightly off.

I wouldn't know if Jackals spot you faster on higher difficulties. I never had the chance to play ODST.
