EVART to SUNRISE LAKE Trail - A Michigan OnX Off-Road Route

- I'm always looking for new and exciting trails in the Michigan area and OnX Off-road definitely helps me out with that. I found this trail on the OnX app just a few hours north of where I live. Although this was not a difficult trail, it is scenic and worth the drive if you're in the area.

Interesting to see some of the trails I run on ONX now. The trails are a bit different in the snow or after a lot of rain. I think there are still some geocaches out there if you’re inclined. As you note there are a number of north south options and only a couple of east west options. You will find the place filled with Hunter/campers during season, and once in a while a few bikes on the motorcycle trails. Checkout Mr Pibs in Leroy for a bite to eat or the grocery in Evart for rations. Hope to see you out there sometime.

I have some MST videos of the hill climbs.
If you came north to South, you passed the bigger hill climb. It was at the North end of the Blue line.
Right on. I must have driven right by it then and didn’t even realize it. Maybe it was down a trail I didn’t venture down.
@@TrailExpedition it just looks like a big hill that was logged. One side is kinda sandy but can go up easy.. The other side is kinda steep.. And a bit rutted out... But that makes it difficult. Lol

It’s an old decommissioned radar trailer used by the road commission. I repurposed it into an overland trailer. I have an entire playlist build series on it.

Right on. I haven’t done any public rides yet. Still getting the channel built up and wheeling with people I know. One day I’ll get around to putting a public ride together.
