LOVE route 2 west....my FAVORITE beach (lived in Hawaii, and have travelled all around the country, Ca, Fla, Me, Or) "UNSALTED AND SHARK FREE"
Just getting the mud off some repairs from my UP trip. Shhhh don't tell everyone its the best. I grew up on Lake Superior. Enjoy be safe.

I was just up in the Keweenaw Peninsula for the first time a few weeks ago and it was absolutely beautiful! The fall colors were amazing I just wished I had my SxS to ride the trails.
This will be my big trip next year. Gotta get to the UP and knock out the two badge stops in MI.
We had a great time in the TC Village. I didn't bump into you guys, but maybe next year. Glad you enjoy our area of the upper midwest.

Cara getting mudded is total pay back for wishing Matt to fall getting out on the rock....lol. You guys weren't lying when you said how beautiful it is up there. Love the moody weather even though it isn't the best camping weather. Might have to plan a trip up there one year with you guys.

Welcome to Michigan! I’ll be in that area in a few weeks to run the 7 Mile Plane Crash Trail. I heard they recently got dumped on with over a foot of snow. Should be fun!

The rivetr that flows into lake superior is the Gratiot river. I have a place in the keweenaw, great place to use our jeep! Come in Late January or February a whole different world.

i drove through seney wildlife refuge over the winter and you can take the trails almost from the top to the bottom of the u.p. Trails aren't SUPER hard but they aren't super 2wd friendly. my friend had a cherokee, and i brought my subaru outback we had a great time.

You want to know the difference between Yankees and Damm Yankees??? Yankees come down to the SOUTH to visit and go home.. A DAMM YANKEE come down and stays, because we don’t charged inflated prices to strangers.. it’s called SOUTHERN Hospitality.
KOAR fills in a need . All the jeep event seem to by past states i want to camp and go flyfishing .

If you could respond please. You were on an overland near the heads of a river flowing into a large body of water. Dont remember if it was Michigan or not, but you were wearing a blue overland pants that had dark patches of extra protection against wear and tear. What is that brand or website? Thanks brudda. I know all the trails up in Michigan bc I'm from Michigan before i moved to Wisconsin
can't believe thimbleberry is $25 at the jam pot. about 10 - 15 years ago it was about $12. i thought it was expensive then. but damn, inflation is a killer. i'm from marquette. about a 3 to 4 hour drive to the keweenaw. how much was the sea plane?
I don't remember how much the sea plane was but it was worth it.
Never camp on superior shore line. It can get really nasty really fast.

Lake Baikal in Russia is the biggest lake In the world. Beautiful video regardless!
I should have said Fresh Water Lake.
Baikal is fresh water, it is the largest by volume. However, Superior takes the cake for largest freshwater lake by surface area. Respectfully, you’re both right.
To further poke the bear I'll add that the great lakes together are the largest sources of fresh water in one area in the world. The pissing match continues.

Copper harbor is beautiful but sucks due to people. People camp and take shìts in the woods. It is everywhere and the mice try to get in your vehicles.
