Lol it’s funny I just started watching this for some ideas for my just married wife and I. I came across video 1 and I freaked out because you guys drove straight through our home town. Grand Haven is the best place to live. I’m just getting into overlanding and I’ve got a 2005 Land Rover LR3 with a 2.5 inch lift with 32s
I'm glad you guys were able to find the jampot, that place is such a staple of the Keweenaw. What'd you think of the Monk Temple just right down the road? Gorgeous huh?
Great season, sad to see it over. Just got back from the Keweenaw Peninsula for the last rally in the Rally America series. It has been a whirlwind month with Overland Expo East and two trips the Michigan's UP in a Month's time, the rally race claiming the front wheel bearings on my Xterra after baja driving down some washboard roads back to camp. Would love to check out a map of trails you hit as some friends and I are completing a very similar trip to this next October. Once again, thank you and it has been great really connecting with one of these series having nearly been to many of the same places.
You guys missed alot of stuff, but it would take a several month long trip to get it all in ;) Canada is NOT visible from the Keweenaw!! What you guys were seeing was likely Manitou Island.
Great show guys and gals.lovely footage of a wonderful area.whats with mat and the irish accent now and again.hes a funny lad.this inspires me.thanks.cool tear drop and nice owners too.
What model tent is that attached to the back of the Dome 1300 awning? How big is it? Would it sleep 4? It can stand up by itself and be left at camp while exploring right?
William Loux That’s The Oz Tent Tagalong. It sleeps 2 very comfortable, 3 in a pinch but 4 would be pushing it. Although this one isn’t standalone, Oz Tent and Rhino Rack have options that are. 🍺
Well, just couldn't have finished in a better way !! Damn, is it really over? I'm glad for you guys, but sad at the same time ... you provide such a good adventure that we never want to see it ended !! Please don't stop ... you deserve more and more !! This are great adventures that turn into a wonderful show !! Thanks so much for sharing !!Love you and your trips ... cool man !!! That final camping spot was amazing !! Cheers
Just ran across your trip thru the U.P. and loved it !!! Had to laugh though because "most" all of the places that you've gone, we went too... Expect we did it in a 2001 Buick Century !!! I haven't watch the first episode yet but loved 2 and 3 !!!
Ah, home sweet home! If you can make time for it, you should do the exact same trip early in the first week of October and ending as far into November as you can. You will see fall in a way you never will again. Camping on the tip of the Keweenaw in November will show just how much she (the lake) was actually loving you on the first trip....lol. The gales of November are more than Gordon Lightfoot lyrics ;)
Great video in our beautiful Michigan . I would suggest if I may, that it would’ve been nice if when editing you added the map point of where you guys went and camped. For us in Michigan Is not as bad , but for people who don’t know Michigan it would be confusing . Otherwise great video content and scenery .
The GT on the rocket range NASA stone is not related to Georgia Tech, but to General Technics, which is group of Michigan Tech students and alumni out of Houghton, and the PFRC is the Permanent Floating Riot Club which is also a student group at Michigan Tech.
Stephan Hatch At that point, we were around 20 to 25 psi. Yes, we could have taken more time to air down and would have had better results on the climbs. Thanks for watching!
Constructive criticism: the sound volumes in this video are way off. One moment I can't hear someone talking and the next there is music blaring. Makes the video frustrating to watch.
Thank you
What size tires were on the red 4runner??
LOVE IT!!!! You guys are killing it. Great episode, can't wait to see more -
Joel Roon Thank You! 🍺
Come back there is some offroad gold on Drummond Island. It won't disappoint.
Thank you for sharing this video. Really enjoyed it.
Maurice Austin Thanks for watching! 👍

Ryan Conran Right on, thanks for watching! We’d love to get back up that way some time!
One must see place is Traverse city. Loads of mountain bike trails and hiking trails that can take you right out to the lake. Beautiful state.
Lake Huron....not Huron River.
You guys gotta come back go to Sault Ste. Marie and do the Soo locks tour.
Great episode!
Kurt Williams Thank You my friend! 👍
I'm glad you guys were able to find the jampot, that place is such a staple of the Keweenaw. What'd you think of the Monk Temple just right down the road? Gorgeous huh?

frankdilligaf It does my friend, ARB Snorkel, TRD CAI, URD Y-Pipe & CAT-Back Exhaust. 👍
Looks like so much fun! Great crew, awesome rigs. I've got my rig ready now, when and where is the question.

Looks like a great trip! Thanks for sharing. Any chance you have the route map saved and shareable? Keep it up y’all.
LoneWolf64 send us an email to boldoverland@gmail.com my friend 🍺
Just curious, what do you mean by your trademark campfire?
Chris Knapp Just a phrase to show that we try to have a campfire every night during a trip! 🔥
BOLD OVERLAND I love your show. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Sir, we are humbled.
FYI moment
When you were at the launch pad you were in the spot furthest from an interstate in the lower 48.
Old Griz Wow, great info my friend! Thanks for sharing!

Julio Gonzalez Thanks brother! 🍺
"his dad's not around either" I laughed at how wrong that is
therats Kind or came out bad, huh...🍺
Doesn’t look like you guys aired down at all for the sand dunes. Like the vid!!
Stephan Hatch At that point, we were around 20 to 25 psi. Yes, we could have taken more time to air down and would have had better results on the climbs. Thanks for watching!
Take that same route in mid December, it won't look the same at all....lol
Old Griz Very Nice!

tfineis Thanks...disclaimer... we’re not professional videographers or cinematographers... we just do the best we can and have fun...
I thought you might be interested in improving something that would make viewers more likely to watch your future videos. Guess not.
