One of the best parts of Michigan. Was up there near Munising and the Mackinac Wilderness the other week hiking and camping. Also first time watching your channel and love it. Can’t wait to watch more!
My boyfriend and I both live in Muskegon. He is from the area. He actual builds jeeps for fun! It’s his hobby! He said it was nice to see someone talking Muskegon up when usually it has a horrible reputation. He also said go to Canada. It’s beautiful there. Anyways amazing videos. Can’t wait for season 4!
Teardrop sur un Road trip Thanks for the comments. Often every so often we stop at a KOA. Sometimes, however, we go a week or so without a proper shower. In addition, our trailers now have onboard water with propane heaters that allow us to take field showers. Thanks for watching at the comments.
Last week was a busy one for me. Work, Overland expo east and camping with my 4 year old daughter. This morning I finally got to see Season 2 of BOLD Overland. Theirs only one way to describe it: AMAZING 😉. Can't wait to see the next episode. Billy it was nice to see you again brother and thanks for talking to my daughter and thanks for the decal.
So, I really like what you guys did with your fridge remote (6:00 mark) - mind if I ask what you used to mount the Snomaster remote to the vent with? How well does it work long-term on rough terrain?
New subber from Michigan here, very happy to welcome you'all up here! Looks like your well equipped to have a blast..remember you can use ketchup on pasty's!! Well done guys
That boat was a skater that’s made in Douglas mi, you might have been in Muskegon the weekend for the Muskegon power boat weekend. The group is call west Michigan offshore. The history of Muskegon is cool there is a tv series on history channel about civil war good that ls worth the watch.
Alright! Up in my stomping grounds. My buds and I are working on a plan for up there next fall and doing another scouting run of the Houghton area next weekend.
Seriously, the amount I can connect to this is great. Hope you guys signed the guest book at Whitefish Point! My wife and I were at Expo East two weeks ago and I turned around and headed up to our cabin in the Les Cheneaux Islands in the UP for duck season last weekend. Very much look forward to watching this trip unfold.
My home state, it is interesting to see the perspective of people from outside the state. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this series. The city is pronounced Shar-luh-voy Pasties rock And Lake Superior is indeed an evil bitch. Gives me the creeps every time I go up there. It is big enough and deep enough that it is technically an inland sea.
I hope you had time to check out the Grand Hotel. There are 3 motor vehicles on the island. 1 police car, 1 firetruck, and 1 ambulance. Other than that it's bikes or horses. The old crew quarters are used as a B&B at Whitefish, incredible stay for sure.
@@BOLDOVERLAND hey, you probably have some towns that I cant pronounce too! I'm glad you guys had fun in our great state! Come back and see us any time!
I appreciate what you guy's are trying to do, but after "two seasons" why is the encoding so bad? This literally looks like 480p up-scaled to 1080p. The compression ratio is analogues to a Russian potato cam. For the brand you are trying to build, bandwidth and HD space is cheap, no? Stop cutting corners. Also, the story telling is stop and go, but I give kiddos the the Music Supervisor, good selection. Don't take it the wrong way, It's just constructive criticism. I just got done watching ExpeditionOverland's last episode. But then again, they misuse the 21:9 aspect ratio ("blanking" Vs. working in 1.35 timeline), so maybe I should harp on them, too. ;)
Muskegon, dang I have been there. That place is a ghost town mon thru weds, of course those where the days we where there and the 18th amendment wasn't open. Great video guys keep it up!

The best description of the U.P. is
"It's everything you would expect heaven to be, and then some".
Hi guys, love your videos and your passion, I would like to know how you guys deal with showers on the roads

Khorsathedark Lol, thanks we've been giving Scott a hard time about that...lol🍺
Khorsathedark , and don't forget. ...the Great Lakes are unsalted and shark free!
Grand Rapids and Muskegon are really popular cities for the drinking scene
Can’t wait for the next one!! How deep was that mud hole?
Woooo! Lehto's Pasties. I asked Nick at MI Overland to pass that along to you. So good we named our dog after that place!
Pete Wardrope Right On!
