    Nice to see the cars out on track and not just stuck in a garage. Understanding how valuable these cars are and risking them getting damaged takes some consideration. Great for the fans of motor racing. Cheers lads.

    Another great video chaps. Brilliant to see Steve back in the car. You should try and do a full video with him talking about memories he has with the car. And maybe other drivers with the other cars too?

    Awesome video and so good to see some real work and explanation going on. I love the way you are so happy to share stuff and your not precious about it. I hope you’re going to Goodwood next week. That or any one of the touring cars would fit right in there. Keep up the fantastic work and thanks for all the little tips on 3drs. I’ve used a few and I’m great full

    Takes me back to the ICS Rouse/Hall days when I worked there, I used to pick the new road tyres up that got fitted and balanced then we would "true" the treads on the tyre cutter so during racing they would pretty quicky become nearly slicks.😉

    im old enough to remember the Tim Harvey , Andy Rouse days. Used to love the Listerine sierras and the M3s. Also the Civics and Astras running in the same series would be lapped in the later stage of the race

    Wish I'd known that was on, would have travelled down from Scotland as my Bro in Law lives just up the road from Brands. He actually gets a free pass to all Brands Hatch events due to noise pollution, imagine that, one mans noise pollution is another mans music to the ears.

    Brilliant video chaps. Was great seeing Steve in the car and finally… what’s the 500 like compared to the super touring mondeo speed wise? I imagine the Mondeo would beat the 500 on handling not thrills.

      You are correct mate , the super tourers out corner the rs500s due to the advanced technology and amazing build . the rs500s still pull down the straights though . both amazing to watch on track

    Just for additional information helicoil thread repairs are NOT oil or coolant tight

    • @bigduphusaj162
      @bigduphusaj162 Год назад

      neither are normal threads mate. Thats why you use hylomar or a sealing washer or gasket to seal oil and coolant in. Ive used helicoils to fix sump plug threads with zero issues. I ususually smear them with hylomar blue when i refit them but owners have done their own oil changes afterwards with no leaking issues. I just fire copper or crush washers on anything i think might leak and so should you be.
