I never noticed jimin was waiting and on his phone, as if he was probably texting yoongi before he actually called. Watching the vlive I thought jimin just randomly called yoongi out of nowhere lol that's cute! I find the tangerine part interesting because yoongi Loves tangerines, jimin mentioned that he talked to yoongi and he most likely was watching. the youtube live in which he talked abt yoongi's surgery for the first time never fails to make me cry. you can see the amount of love and care he has for yoongi... hearing his trembling voice makes me so sad :"( i feel like he tried too hard to hold back his tears. and i know for a fact that everyone looked forward yoongi to comeback but it seems to me that jimin was the most affected one by yoongi's absence. i hope our yoongi comes back healthy than ever and we can see them as 7 on stage asap
I would like to add the fact that you only feel that way towards someone really special to you. You’d be concerned for your friends, best friends, etc. but not on the verge of tears like what Jimin was showing in that live. That type of emotion is usually reflected upon somebody that’s really close to you bf/gf, fiance, spouse.

FOR THE TANGERINE PART -- I'm not sure exactly what this was but I think Namjoon did some type of Serendipity MV (bc he wrote the song) and a tangerine was used as a parallel to the yellow sphere seen in the og MV. A common theory I've seen is that the yellow objects in the Serendipity MV represent Yoongi, or Jimin's love for Yoongi. Jimin aslo posted a picture of a tangerine on Yoongi's birthday one year.
Actually it was yoongi who was first did the shooting for serendipity vcr with tangerine and stuff but then the company decided not to use it and did the entire shoot with rm.. I think it was decided to cut last minute coz even rm was surprised why he was asked to replace suga?
