Suggestion: Make little plazas with fountains in the "roundabouts" by the cathedral.
Then pedestrians will cross the roundabout, which is not desirable.

if someone could add a living wall mod or decal to buildings, they're actually doing things like installing ivy on trellises up the side of buildings, they muffle the noise and clean the air too. i was thinking they could do that on lampposts with like a cage around them so they'd be easy to prune if they ever got out of hand. they'd be great for nesting birds, too.
0:47, it's a viewing platform for pictures so they have a safe place that won't be blocked by a bus at the last moment.
10:30 - Biffa: let's put plenty of handicapped parking in... and then ensure they have the longest walk to get where they are going! :)

After watching so many of your videos what I particularly appreciate is a well balanced set of skills : design (city layout), efficiency (traffic), beautification (personal touches) and video editing. There are always more talented people in some aspect (except traffic fix !) but for me your gameplay is inspiring for those reasons. All that timely executed too with just the right amount of editing plus a fun factor as a bonus. Excellent content ! Thank you.

8:16 Oh look, right in line with the airport runway... Is Biffa trolling us?
Well, we've got rockets on the other side. A stationary cathedral should be a cakewalk.
All that talk about "level 5" reminded me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail --- "3 sir!"
Interesting thing that I learned recently about these boulders that typically stick out from the ground without being weathered (the same boulders that Biffa seems fond of perhaps?) is that the reason why they're there despite the weathering effects that rain and wind would've applied to the terrain at large is because these boulders were likely the result of glaciers breaking off parts of the land, which remained stuck on the glacier until it melted.
With this in mind, methinks that maybe Teaport was visited by glacial activity in the distant past? (That, or the boulders were genuinely transplanted there, but what kind of heavy machinery could've possibly moved such big rocks around?)
Edit: By the way, I think one of your boulders was somehow moved out of its intended place behind the fence. (Did a glacier push it out? Doubtful... or is it?) You can spot it at 29:35, around the very end of the video.

yeah i saw that kinda too when he showed the land value, with it being kinda empty along the coast....
I just had a similar problem with a rotary that was way too close to an interchange and was causing the off-ramp (DDI) to back up. Ended up replacing the rotary with a sort of "modified" Parclo folded diamond for a 6-lane road (90-degree turn to get on/off with the lane connectors enforcing straight on the left 2 lanes, right on the right lane). Lately, for busy 3-way intersections, I've had to go with a timed traffic light (protected left on main highway with right from the cross, straight/right on main, all turns from cross with right from the main). We have that setup locally and works very well to flow traffic.

I saw the Statue of Industry appeared to have possible path connections. If so, perhaps it could connect to nearby paths and roads?
The traffic on the roundabout is because of a stop sign, it always happens in my cities!

I feel like, with the cathedral and the eden project, some IT cluster buildings would really fit this somewhat futuristic vibe of the area

Hi Biffa, I noticed that when you placed your "Official Park" you put it over half a car park, leaving the remaining half with no access to a street.
That Eden Project effect is outstanding! Whoa!

That big main road by the Eden Project and the new church, you still need to connect it to the highway.
In the previous episode, you ran that road UNDER the highway, but forgot to connect it TO the highway.

Btw Biffa, not sure if you know, or how many of your nice followers know.
The little "trick" you used in this series with the University areas, where you cut the connection to the one you painted out with the main building, you can do the same with your parks.
Have them all connected in small patches around your city, so you can have small level 5 parks, that also give good to land value spread on small 8x8 areas.
Just have them connect to your main little spot with your first and then cut the connection, so all those small parks can be "main parks"
Seeing as you've used the zonable promenade by the Eden Project, might it be an idea to use it for commercial stuff?
One side for tourism and one side for entertainment? To use and bulk up the area a bit.

How is easy, buy it off Steam. Depending on your computer specs you may have to be careful how many (if any) mods you add. I'm one of the many that saw Biffa playing and had to try the game.

Biffa have you considered hooking up your train line to the space elevator district. I think it may greatly reduce traffic.

Please Biffa, the castle you made a few videos ago has a
PEDESTRIAN road leading to it, please just make it a normal gravel road. Also, I've said this a lot, fix your bus lines so they dont turn around on dead-end streets and criss-cross over each other. Also, use the vanilla asymmetrical road so that those nice lines appear when you change the direction of the road, and dont put tram stops away from junctions when it is a dedicated tram road! Otherwise, less people will use it as they can't cross the road at the stop and instead they have to walk in the middle of the road all the way to a junction; the trams aren't going to block the traffic if they're on their tracks! These are just some tips and your videos are still great by the way! Keep it up.
Concerning the pedestrian boulevards, just use TM:PE to restrict all vehicles, if you want to keep them for a path with out cars. The only reason not to is if you build off them. Teaport is looking sip worthy!
Next up : The Central Park ?
It's a unique building that you can plop down, gives a big area of improved health benefits and decreases things like air pollutoin 'n' stuff .. people love it. 😁👍

The space elevator district needs two things: 1. nearer highway access, if only for the truck delivery goods to all those tourism buildings, and 2. a train station.
I’m kinda missing the experimenting a bit. Like the dutch canal neighborhood, the islands and a hood with rich peeps mansions like in teaville.
All those people, but no emergency shelters?
I suggest adding a ferry port for the Eden project too.
Could you add a monorail 🚝 near this area too?

If you put park entrances at the beginning and end of all the paths you've made, you can make allot of money.
Not sure I’d enjoy a business park right by a cargo train station. Usually would like it quiet to eat and enjoy my lunch.
I live next to a train line (passengers and cargo) and it's kinda cozy
my city is like this, and it was very out of nowhere I never did any of these processes and all areas the value is at most

Biffa, do parks and plazas where you are located commonly have fences around them? Over here most parks and plazas are not fenced, so your fencing habit struck me as weird at first...but I figured maybe it was normal where you are?
Hei Biffa! Would be nice to connect your tourist area to the train hub, don't you think? It's connected to other areas of the city with nothing but a road and ferry. BTW, ferry must be overloaded.
A pedestrian market would be cool, since those paths are zonable!

Biff builds cities like the Chinese do....high-rises everywhere. lol Just a idea for the future, keep all high-rises in a singular area (like a downtown) and maybe not have everything so perfect, you know like most real cities. I'd love to see a Biffer city like that.

Is it a passenger rail line behind the Cathedral of Plentitude? If so, put in a station and pedestrian access way.
Since it seems that this city might be coming to an end and a new one started soon, I propose that you experiment with some different public transportation next time. No trams or passenger trains, use cable cars and monorails instead, please. Also, blimps instead of ferries would be cool too.

That's the tourist district.
Tourism district -> Heavy Commercial zone.
To my mind idea is a few grand hotels buildings, some spa, some cab stands , direct bus routes to hotel district (+tourists), that would make a hotel industry .... like we put warehouses and tree or cattle farms and port or cargO hub for industry etc

I like to put in the Eden Project, Medical Center and Hadron Collider and then make Collider disable university boost and delete all the schools except university and hospitals and medical center. Drop the budget to the school to save more $$$
