I knew D was ample metal hellrazer immediately lol. Before I knew which one was which I immediately knew D was hellrazer and I liked A a lot as a close second and I was surprised to see a sample library I’ve never heard of before. Will definitely be checking out evolution dracus!
I like 1st a lot (evolution dracus), then 2 and 3 and the last one is the 4th. 3 and 4 are similar and soundnlike some of my the Kemper Profiler presets
I love Hellrazer but both Dracus and Realeight surprised me. The most I disliked is Hydra, very weak in palm mutings. But for me the winner is always Ample Sound because you have lots of original sounds like Judas Priest, Metallica and the likes completely ready for playing. It helps a lot.
for my taste A sound ok but the articulation or how those notes should be played seem not quite right . B seem easy to blend in mix , not sure about articulation though . D having nice low note bending vibes , something which typically heard when guitar players playing repeatable riff . Did you ever demoing ODIN 3? It seem full with articulations which can be accessed via key switches or just using velocities . And if possible check the old library called Vir2 Guitarist , just like ODIN you maybe need pairing with good amp simulation but most of articulations good enough to make convincing guitar demo
I believe most of UJAM library intended to be used as quick rhythm guitar pattern mix and match or additional guitar background with another instruments or libraries on top of it . The articulations too limited as main rock / metal guitar , although you`ll getting lots of cool "right Hand" pattern with it .
@@morizanova Ah. I see. I suppose when I saw the instrument mode I assumed it can be played like an actual guitar would be. Rhythm or lead. I don't know much about guitars so I kinda just look around for what sounds good to me. Guitar A in this video sounds great :D
UJAM VG Carbon can be used as an instrument, has wider pitch range and is more customizable, at the cost of less realism. There are different degrees of palm muting, but there's no fretboard mechanism. It brings some cool gritty and harsh sounds, but it's only ideal if you want a more MIDI-like, blatant synthy guitar sound.
i bought a jackson js22 7 because of shreddage when it came out claiming that it could emulate real heavy riffing, the result: pure midi guitar crap this new sampled guitars are not very different, they sound fake
I understand. That requires deeper midi programming, which this video did not get into. I’m assuming you play metal or guitar? Your ear will be sensitive to the differences. However, when it comes to programming, the question is who is going to give you the best results? This video is intended to show that despite our concept of which virtual instrument is the best, you can achieve similar results with other libraries. The magic happens when you know how to problem solve creatively. I will be showing how to go deeper in future videos.
Great coverage of these, thank you ❤❤❤
C&D just felt better in the mix to my ears.
C and D for me

So the it comes down to the question: What is the most easy to program for you?
Great video. Liked A the most. D was my least fav, though I love other Ample Sound guitars like the Taylor acoustic. Thank you for showing!
I like B and D the best
I like B best.
Thought B was the best and I have that VST.

I have no idea what to listen to, but I like A and D the best.

Any chance you could compare these to UJAM Iron? :)

Do any of them support violining the strings? I’ve been struggling to find a way to do it with Hellrazer. I think Real Eight does it?
RealEight has a violining articulation but you can achieve that with any library. RealEight makes it easy though.
@@hifimidi you know of a way to do it with Amplesound?
@@aurumnebulusyou have to control the volume. That can be done by automating the volume level-easing in and out. I’ll make a video in the future.
@@aurumnebulus the best way I've found is to go to settings, sample, and set the attack to a high value so that the note eases in slowly.
I was between c and d still not sure haha
The all sound great when you don’t know which Virtual Instrument was used 😂
n°1:D
n°2:A=C
n°3:B
D, C, A, B.
i thought c was the only one, played like it was intended.
all the others have varying degrees of problems with the length of notes.
To my ears real eight is so smooth, without harshness, in my oponion timing is so swing, i don't like it. Tnx🙏
RealEight does sound smooth, but there is no swing added to the notes.
A
B and D were great. A sounden really bad.
