Hey :) so the school I refer to in this video, yes we paid tuition for the half day. I need to make a new update video now but we found this intentional community that functions as a co-op, with 2 days of attendance without me having to be a teacher! It's paid but very reasonable. I stay home and am committed to doing so for the foreseeable future. That being said, I do run my own business but in the slim but impactful margins of my days. I love the set up we have for our life. I'd love to chat w/ you about your setup and see what we can get creative/clear about HOW you want your days set up, etc.
Can I ask what your business is? I would love to have a set up similar to this, but I would have to make money somehow and I don’t know what I could do working from home. I think I could homeschool if I knew I was going to get a good break every day, but Im not sure what that would be either. My mom is nearby and could do a couple afternoons a week, but I would have to pay for the other days. I am a 90% introvert, so I definitely need alone time!
@@kristinyaekelnegley3978 I am a stay-at-home mom rights activist and coach :) None of the money I make goes towards the official family income, I think that's important to add for context. I think your set up will depend on what type of homeschooler you plan to be and taking into account the reqs for the state you're in. I gotta say--it sounds like you're trying to do a lot and I'm only saying this cuz idk if you could fit all that into each day. Making money, homeschooling, doing housework/cooking...but maybe I need some more context! If you're on instagram, please feel free to dm me and we can exchange messages/voice notes about your situation
Can I ask if you have to pay for school for her, and if you work now or stay home?
