- Our interview with the legendary Bea Arthur on the 224th episode of The Rosie O'Donnell Show, rest in peace Bea, you were a one of a kind.
I could watch Bea and Rosie for hours!!
Great thing about Rosie is that she's a real fan of many of her guests.
I could listen to Bea talk forever ❤️❤️❤️
Don't be sad that she passed away! One should be thankful that she delighted us with her talent.
Rosie let her guests shine ❤️❤️❤️ Bea was my fav golden girl 💕💕☺️
ALWAYS LOVED Bea Arthur.
Love Bea , seriously what a talented actress !!!
I’m the same age as Rosie born in 62 I would watch it with my father i think it was on 10:00 pm my mom would go to bed that was our Friday nights.
Blessing to Bea and my Dad he would have be 92 now, well he made to 89. Lol
Cheers 🇨🇦
Nice memory to have of your Dad, Friday night was special💗
How sweet ☺️
I love Bea she is so missed
ABSOLUTELY LOVED BEA!!! 😍 ❤️
Happy 60th birthday to Rosie O'Donnell It is nice to see you show respect to icons who helped to raise us
What a relaxed but fascinating interview. And as always I’m so impressed with how Rosie made the older legends of tv and film feel so revered. ❤️
Right on Maude!!❤️
I love it. Relax. Maudie is here.
Rosie is without a doubt the most talented tv host of all times
100%
Ewww no she’s not. She’s a disgusting human being
She knew she only truly worked cause she was as excited as the audience and left when she was too sucked into the myth of fame. Most stick it out and suck out the money till the end.
yes yes and yes
She would respect Tom Selleck better if she's what you say!
Nice seeing Bea Arthur on Rosie on You Tube !
Bea Arthur was truly a one-of-a-kind
yes this made me cry
God Bless Bea, She was sick in this episode..
@@1953childstarNo, not in this episode, unless you mean the ordinary type of sickness. Bea was 75 here and makes me wish the Golden Girls had continued for five more years. She returned to Rosie ten years later in 2007 for the DVD release of Maude on its 35th anniversary. At that time she was undergoing treatment for the illness that ultimately took her life in 2009.
Rip Ms Bea Arthur ❤❤❤❤🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My God I miss Rosie’s show everyday. And seeing any people like her on tv. No one I can find today. She uplifts and makes her guests feel so important, from kids to animals!! And all the celebs in between!
Wow, this is going back aways. What wonderful entertaining talented women these two are.
I miss Rosie’s talk show, she was so great at it. I love her so much and wish her only the Best🙏💐😊
Bea is everything
Never got into Maude but loved The Golden Girls. Bea’s reactions to the other ladies made the show.
were you very young when Maude was on...i was 11 when it started watched with my parents and didnt really appreciate until many years later in reruns..and of course she was perfection in Golden Girls
I liked Golden Girls but it was never worthy of Bea. Norman celebrated and wrote a 6 season love letter to her brilliance. Golden Girls' writers had a clear thing against her - ugly digs under the guise of 'comedy' torward the 'character' I floved Maude. I'll take that show every day all day over GG.
@@BrunetteOnTheCouch I think she's fabulous in both. And Bea had some great kickbacks to the other Girls.
Maude coming to help when everyone is sick on All In the Family is one of the classic episodes. Franklin Delano Roosevelt!
I’m watching old episodes of Maude - again and just LOVE Her. The topics they addressed on Maude are amazing! Can’t believe abortion was addressed and safe and legal 50 years ago and now we are going absolutely backwards in 2022.
Yeah right. I remember looking to the future with hope and getting better as society and just like human beings with all our potential. Now I am scared. Is like everything is fracturing and we all need to heal but where is the will power. In my case Golden Girls thought me so many things. Wish you peace!
@@aldoalda7970 Loved seeing her. She was 1 of 2 TV moms I had; her & Elizabeth Montgomery. When they passed it truly made me sad. 😢 Maude & The Golden Girls. Never missed and taped to beta & VHS formats. 😀
I knew Bea from record albums on which she appeared, like THE JEWISH AMERICAN PRINCESS, where she was a scream. I also knew her from Broadway record albums, but then she appeared on "All In The Family", which our whole family watched, and WOW! This was the lady from the records! And then she got her own show! WOW again! And, obviously, she and Rosie became great friends. Thank you for posting this. It brings back wonderful memories.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I enjoy Bea Arthur and this interview. Please, please, continue these vid clips into Season 2.
Rip Bea Arthur
Such a pleasure to watch....
Rosie is an AMAZING host - love her energy 💛
Rosie is such a delight!
Really love Bea arthur !
Rosie as the one to teach me about Maude- already loved Bea growing up w the Golden Girls. Rosie was what the gay kids watched when we were home sick from school!
Rest in peace and birthday wishes to Bea Arthur Maude was a revelation which continues to this day
Two legends. One just happens to be a mega fan as well
My favorite Golden Girl. RIP ✝️
I love you Rosie. Love Bea on your show.
Love you Rosie❤❤❤❤ and Bea❤❤❤❤
I miss these times of talk shows
LUV BEA ❤
I think this is the best interview I have seen done with Bea Arthur. Rosie gives a friendly and respectful interview and makes for a great conversation. Bea was an inspiring actress and public figure. R.I.P Bea. Brava! xx
Bea bea bea ! Great love golden girls it is original show started it new to me plot different
I cried April 25th 2009 when I heard she died. It was a sad moment.
I still remember where I was when I heard the news. Then I felt disbelief, two months later.
@@spongebob03 me to I still remember that day so well and the moment I heard. I was in my living room at around 9 pm and seen on the News my beloved bea Arthur had passed away. The tears started flowing down my face. She was such an important person to so many of us. She will be forever in our hearts always.
God'll get you for that Rosie
Wow what a beautiful interview 😂🎉
I watched this show as a child, and I looked up to Rosie not knowing she was apart of the LGBT community at the time cause she didn’t come out right away. And I loved Bea from The Golden Girls! 🌟
How could you know w/ her so called crush on Tom Cruise? ;-)
Rosie has donated over $100 million to charity
I just loved Bea and loved Maude and Golden Girls thank you Rosie I’m the same age as you and we share so many similar likes
I love how you just honor these fabulous stars ⭐️ especially since you’re such a star as well
Great to see these clips in good quality.
I was 8, all great shows!! ❤️❤️
Dorothy zbornak is my spirit animal, love her❤
Rosie is quite the natural musician as well!!
Great interview, but odd that Golden Girls wasn’t directly mentioned. Maybe intentional, maybe not…
only you could get the great bea arthur!
No mention of her role on the golden girls?
I loved Bea in both Maude and The Golden girls 😀
she is very much missed
I feel like interviews just aren’t like this anymore. It’s very straight and to the point. Then, they do a silly/fun game, show a clip for the latest thing someone’s doing and it’s over. It’s so calculated and rehearsed. The celebs don’t seem to be able to tell the audience a story or anything as much. Sometimes, but rare. It seems like the host over powers/ out shines them? Not sure if it’s the over bearing hosts or celebs simply aren’t like Bea Arthur? Maybe it’s just me.
This reminded me why I stopped watching Rosie O'D. I loved her humor, and loved the show, but the threat of hearing her sing ended my viewership.
Any chance that we can see one of Paula Poundstone's segments? IMDb suggests she was on five times.
Rosie.............turd...................Bea, the best
didn't talk about golden girls
I loved the Rosie Trump feud,fuuuuny 😍
lol when late night wasn't horribly fake
I thought this was a daytime show?
I had such a crush on John McDaniel!
I assume this is what hell will be like. Rosie on a loop. Is it too late to repent?
As strong as bea seems ..her voice was stronger on golden girls....and ALOT stronger on maude...but hey ...if were lucky we age....
She was sick- Lung Cancer..
Rosie O'Donnell "playing" a happy soccer mom is so weird
How many bullies does it take to make a duo??? Just these two apparently. They deserve each other. FACT: Bea called Betty White a c_ _t. Rue confirmed this. Rosie, this early was just OK, but as the show went on was vilified because of her staff treatment. Simply a loud obnoxious individual.
I don't like this host, since she embarrassed Tom selleck in her show and treated him not as should be by asking Strang questions about law etc. And he as actor was not comfortable back then.. Search on RUclips by yourself to know what I'm talking about!
Rosie was talented and entertaining. When she remained in her lane. Her activism was ill-conceived, inappropriate and annoying!
Great interview!
Never saw Maude but still watch Golden Girls all the time!!💯🪙💥🙏❤️✡️🕎🇮🇱
