I appreciate all the park updates! Now, replace WCR’s comfort collars with lap bars and seat belts, faster pit stop and increase its speed a little! That would make it awesome! Keep the park improvements coming!!
@@ryancommenter-r7oon your first 7-15 rides they don’t do much, then they start getting more noticeable, then they go back to being less noticeable, and the cycle repeats
Given that AlpenFury is expected to have no comfort collars AND no seatbelts, and the removed side paneling... I no longer see any justification for comfort collars or seatbelts on these rides! AlpenFury will arguably have the most intense and thrilling elements of all Premier coasters... so if it can do without those annoying features, I really wanna know why the Sky Rocket II coasters and WCR have them. It makes literally zero sense.
I really want to fly to CA from PA and go to Magic Mt. I see some rides are closed right now… when would be the best time to come when all coasters usually operating and not under maintenance? Also… when the time does come the Cedar Fair wants to be petty and rip out X2 and Viper and inevitably re-invent that entire area and/or end of lifespans are met… I hope they go to S&S and they give them an ENTIRE new 4D that’s fast and more action packed like Eijenaika or however you spell it, and maybe also continue on vipers looping legacy with an inversion record from S&S too like Steel Curtain but Vipers layout plus even more inversions. That’s be pretty cool. I wish Great Adventure would bring back Scream Machine like that.
The best time to go for no crowds is a weekday in January - March before spring break but rides will be closed. However, for the least closures the best time to go is in the summer between Memorial Day weekend & Labor Day weekend as ride closures are less likely but crowds will be higher. Replacing X2 with another more modern 4D is likely a very expensive undertaking & one I don’t see the new Six Flags making all told X2 is a 50+ million dollar coaster & a newer larger version would likely exceed that by a large margin I just don’t see the new Six Flags making that kind of investment.
I’m so glad apocalypse is getting a retract. It sucks. I hurt my back on it and it is really rough so I’m so glad it’s getting a retract the last time I got a retract it just kind of made it worse.😢😮
@ that is true I just wish it wasn’t so rough. I used to love that ride. I think it’s better than. Ghost Rider at Knotts Berry Farm, but Mott Berry Farm ghost Rider is much smoother
They need to seriously dress up the scenery around Scream. Flying over a parking lot looks carnivalish and amateur. Put some grass, plant some trees, maybe a small pond. Something.
Not true. Twisted Collosus isn’t. Even though Ka was removed, I really don’t think X2 will be. I just feel like the Ka backlash would be enough to get them to not remove it for how iconic it is.
The service life of some yeah.........Tatsu, Twisted Colossus, Wonder Woman, Batman, Goliath, WCR, Apocalypse, Full Throttle, Scream, and Riddler's are still solid. Viper, Ninja, Gold Rusher, Revolution, Superman...yeah, those might be questionable....and POSSIBLY....X²......AGAIN......POSSIBLY.

@@ryancommenter-r7oThey are simply awful
I'd welcome the removal of the comfort collars & it doesn't need seatbelts either just the lap bar if the park & manufacturer would allow it of course

I love your content, I began watching back when you posted Twisted Colossus construction
Great shots - x2 is so graceful on film, even if it tosses you around (which is most of the fun)
Thanks for the update, i hope to get a good ride on Apocalypse with its retrack!
Hopefully the retrack makes a noticeable difference!
@@coasterelement4963it will definitely, I remember when it was retracked in 2020 with wcr opening it was butter smooth basically
nice
Great to see the park. Nice to see sll the work done. Have they done more on the sign out by 5? Great update!!
Unfortunately no, the sign is untouched
Twisted Colossus is in DESPERATE need of a fresh repaint also!!
I doubt they’d paint the structure but a fresh coat of paint on the track would be nice
@@coasterelement4963That's what I meant actually....possibly little touches here and there on the wood structure, but DEFINITELY the steel tracks
I think in the future people start to realize that this cedar fair buy out really is a good thing

I feel like Georgia Scorcher will be the last (minus Surf at SeaWorld) stand-up left for how small of a ride it is.
Magic Mountain ain't getting rid of Riddler's anytime soon.
I could absolutely see Georgia Scorcher as the last old school B&M standup I’d be surprised if Riddler or Vortex outlasted it
The controls box is gone on scrambler so it's done.
Looks to be the case, MM definitely needs some more flat rides though so sucks to see one removed
@@coasterelement4963 agreed

I thought they just retracked apocalypse lol
Needs to be re tracked every year
Definitely has, Apocalypse retracks are frequent to say the least

They should repaint the parking spots under the ride, it's been 21 years... 🤣

Take that out and put in a B&M dive coaster over 200ft....well themed to Screampunk District.
All the coasters at Magic are running out of time

Great video., I hope they get rid of Riddler's. Just too loud, like Superman.
Too loud? That’s too bad broski.
I’d much rather they get rid of Scream and convert Riddler to a floorless or traditional sit-down looper
