The fact this performance came together like this after all the obstacles they faced leading up to the show was a testament of how great BTS is. While rehearsing for this performance and their Vegas concert in S Korea, Jhope got COVID and couldn’t rehearse with them until 1 day before the performance. Then Jin injured his hand and needed surgery so he couldn’t dance because he might reinjure it. They had to redo choreography without him included in the dancing. Then when they flew to the US for the show, JK tested positive when he arrived. Had to be on quarantine/lockdown at Vegas hotel until 2 nights before the Grammys. They literally had one full day to rehearse as a team. And they pulled this off!! So amazing. By the way, the audience they were seating in were the artists. V was pretend talking to Olivia Rodrigo. After the Grammys they held 4-day Permission to Dance concert in Las Vegas. It was so exciting to watch them. In between their concerts, they filmed Proof Live at a location outside of Vegas as well as the video for Yet To Come. If you haven’t watched Proof Live yet, please do. They did 3 songs.
Great explanation. 👍 I also recommend for everyone to look up Borahaegas as Las Vegas was "renamed" during that time of the concerts. It's absolutely mind-blowing! 🤯 The entire city was bathed in purple lights and there were BTS themed hotel rooms, restaurant menus, fountain shows, etc. I've never wanted to be anywhere that badly in my entire life! 😭 Oh, and let's not forget that they also filmed the Yet To Come MV out in the desert between the concerts. Can't ever accuse them of wasting their time. 😅 💜
Fun Fact: V was counting in his head the whole time to match up with bg sounds, while also doing skit/flirting with OliviaRodrigo " he said to olivia blah blah lol" . V mentioned that in the interview. That's show how he's so good at what he's doing. He's Such a Pro! No wonder people call him Stage Genius!
Yeah Jin was injured so they altered the performance in under a week (I think it may of been even within a few days before the show) I'm glad they found so many ways to include him with the intro & him still joining for the final chorus because this really was a special moment for them.
5:30 Truer words have never been spoken. The deeper you dive into BTS the more you fall in love with all 7 of them even if you have a bias. They're all incredibly talented, special, and super charming how can anybody not love them? 💜
You need to watch the Bangtan bomb of the behind the scenes of this performance, with RM trying to get the count for the jacket part. You also see how little time they had to rehearse as a full unit and yet still pulled it off.
As someone who has been surrounded by music all my life what I find/see in BTS is people who truly were born to perform. Music literally runs through their veins and they seriously would not have done anything else at all. I feel like 1. no matter what they still would have been performers, and 2. no matter what they still would have found each other. There is this THING about them together and with music where they seem most alive when they are performing together. It is a beautiful thing to watch and an incredible energy to feel even on the other side of the screen.
It's even more impressive when you know that they actually didn't practice all that much together because j-hope and Jungkook I think had COVID and Jin hurt his hand so they had to arrange things so he doesn't perform and if I'm not mistaken they only practiced together two times and they did that. They were so nervous because they couldn't nail the jacket part in rehearsals but they were absolutely insane here, definitely one of their best performances.
Jungkook was clared from Covid the day before Grammy, also J-hope that come to America the day before Grammy as clered from Covid and Jins hand was operated on
I was smiling like a idiot during this reaction. This is probably one of my favorites reactions of yours, absolutely amazing, I loved it!! And about Jins hand, he injuried his hand and had to do a surgery, I don't remember the word in English but he had to "engessar" his hand to recover it properly
This performance is so iconic! Love all the espionage themes. What's crazy is that a few of them were still recovering from Covid and Jin's hand was injured, yet they still pulled this off and looked/sounded epic while doing so!!
Tae’s stare is lethal! Good thing I’m not having anymore kids bc the ovaries are def gone 😂 Namjoon and his Grammy looks are iconic 😎 and JK coming down from the ceiling is always so cool; they all pulled of this performance with such professionalism and skill despite all of the challenges they were facing medically right beforehand (esp JK, Hobi, and Jin)! They totally deserved to win but even though they were robbed of the trophy, they were easily the best performance of that night!! They keep the bar high. And in the end, BTS came to Vegas for 4 soldout stadium shows with ARMY - NOT for the scammy’s. I was there for one of the PTD LV concerts and it was one of the most amazing moments of my life!! No artist is doing it quite like BTS. Also, you’re just like me fr yelling, “that’s my baby!” when Jimin comes on screen. That man has me whipped. 😂 ** I just wanted to add: what you described is why we have terms like “ult bias(es)” and “bias wrecker(s)”! …Real ARMY will always love and respect all 7 members but it’s natural for ppl to gravitate towards certain member(s) visually and/or vocally, or personality-wise. And that’s totally fine, as long as you continue to show love, support, and RESPECT for all of them at the end of the day - which you 100% do on your channel. Much love and respect to you, my guy! 🫶🏼
I have ovaries 😂 but they’ve managed to survive V’s unbelievably stunning looks 🥰… My mind and heart though are blown away practically every time I see him. I’ve never seen such a perfect human before and I’m 49 years old and have traveled the world.
I think this is my favorite live performance. Stunning, with a backstory of overcoming obstacles that just echoes the BTS story from the beginning. I will NEVER get over that jacket move. It did mark for me the day I finally realized the Grammy awards (often called Scammy by ARMY) are not truly reflective of the best music in the world. I think it was obvious to a lot of people that day. I feel bad for BTS who worked so hard and had hoped to win. Luckily, they got to do four in-person sold-out concerts with cheering crowds right after this, the first time since Covid (they had a concert in Korea but people weren't allowed to cheer). The fancams (and eventually movie of that Permission to Dance concert) showed the utter joy they felt being reunited with ARMY after almost 2 years.
It was more of an 'Ocean's Eleven' (that was set in Vegas where this was performed) theme than a spy theme. If you listen to the lyrics they fit with that and if you notice the art work on the wall is being stolen. JK descending from the ceiling, Jin on the computer and the jacket trick all make this an iconic performance. Jimin and JK had done the jacket trick in the past but they had to rush to learn to do it all together as J-Hope only came back from Covid just before the performance so had very little time to practice it. Jin had to very careful with his hand. He'd damaged the ligaments in his finger. He knocked it during their 'Live' afterwards and it obviously hurt a lot. You can see a behind the scenes of them practicing for this with all of them especially Jimin having to take over what J-Hope as dance captain usually does. There are some fun performances such as the ones where they have a big inflatable to play on while singing, 'Anpanman'. The live performances of Magic Shop and of course, Baepsae with a super sexy J-Hope. The performance of Black Swan where Jimin and Jungkook do a pas de deux.' Run BTS' at the 'Yet To Come' concert from Busan. That's just a few.
Bts kings 👑I remember that day everyone went crazy and the whole world was asking about Taehyung V 😭 Okay but this part of V in grammy butter dance break, this man wanted my soul
For me, i would say this performance is right up there & definitely one of their most legendary one ever. The fact that this is their first grammy performance live (dynamite was prerecorded coz of cov!d), the dance break & production & most importantly because of the circumstances around it what with jin hurting his hand, jungkook & hobi getting covid & all of them only having like 1 day to practice together literally the last day before the actual show. The fact that they pulled it off & so fcking well? KUDOS
Watching the behind the scenes of this performance will give you an even bigger appreciation for how well they pulled this off. Jin, due to his hand surgery, had to opt out of the part with the jacket choreography. That’s why he was at the computers . He did rejoin the rest of the members after that part ,to finish up the performance. If I remember correctly, the performance was a question mark , because JK and Hobie had gotten covid, and didn’t know if they were gonna be given the green light to perform . It all went down to the wire, and we did get all 7 in the performance.
every reactor missed what goes on in the background. starts with classic photos then Korean lyrics and then replaced with thier photos. the concept was Koreans breaking into the grammys

They rated this as one of the top Grammys performances ever and we had one of the most watched videos ever on the Grammys page but they took it down. Epic work. So fun and creative. I like Vs jk just hung out on that hook for like 20 mins and no one spotted him.
I realized 2 months into the BTS rabbit hole that I had fallen in love with V's face in this performance😅 because my niece was talking about Olivia Rodrigo and showed me a picture of V talking with her and I was captivated 😂 who knew I would fall in love once again later😊
This one is particular was Legendary first because it was their first live performance on the Grammys, they had a Lot to prove, and the only had 1 day to practice together, they got COVID and quarentine took difernt days for each so they only got to practice the day before the performance and they DELIVERED ❤
Yes, this is a great, polished performance, and so very important. One of my favorites is the medley from the Osaka concert - Dope, Baepsae, Fire, and Idol. It is amazing and a great mix of them just being them as well as some choreo. Honestly, it’s a little unhinged in the best way.
Jin had his hand operated on, so he only participated in the choreography at the end. Jk had left Covid quarantine 1 day ago (he was isolated for 1 week in the hotel room). J Hope had just arrived from Korea, also coming out of Covid quarantine. They had 1 day to rehearse together, on the Grammy stage. Until then, the Army was anxious not knowing whether it would act with the complete group. But, as always, they were amazing!!! This performance was ranked 13th out of all Grammy performances of all time. 💜💜💜
Bullet proof as you said it love it. Black swan, argh all there songs. Theypavef the way. Thanks for joining ARMY. Run BTS and they work so hard.love them, Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜
This is one of my favorite performances live. They had to redo the choreo for this and make it special for the grammys. Notice at the beginning JHope almost falls! The live energy here you can just feel it thru the crowd.
Hey Allonsyy, Jin had his hand injured and with a surgery so had limited moves, j-hope and jk had covid and weren't on the rehearse until 1 - 2 days before the grammys.
Yes had his hand operated on and there's a metal splint sticking out of his finger so the glove is there as a bit more protection. However he did get hurt we saw he touched something an he was in terrible pain but that wasn't on stage.
I always pause a moment to take in the big grin on Keith Urban's face as he sits three feet away from RM. And yes- it really is just easiest to 'bias' all of them. 😄
You know, I can literally see the stages of me becoming an ARMY in you. Every reaction of yours is literally the same and relatable, oh my God! And you're 1000000% right about what you said regarding their energy being contagious and palpable. They make us smile whenever we watch them or listen to them. Oh and yes, about V...I die every time I see him and he is something else here. But really, the more you get to know them the more you fall in love with all of them. It's not possible to choose. They all are incredible.
This performance is even more impressive when you realize Jin had an injured hand. JK had just been cleared from Covid like 24 hours earlier and J-Hope had gotten over Covid just a week before
This performance is so iconic & the coat choreo shook us all!!! Yes definitely need to check out the MMA 2019 performance! & We need more actor Taehyung his eyes are just lethal!!!
They were up against so many things for this Grammy performance and they pulled it off incredibly! However, the Grammys lost their clout that night not awarding BTS.
I absolutely love your reactions. Jin had hurt himself cooking so he had a cast on for a bit which is why he wasnt performing on stage until you saw him and had noticed his hand. You are spot on it is hard to have a bias because depending on the song a member wrecks you💜 Oh the ovaries comment 😂
I am Silver ARMY a great grandmother waiting for the second one, and tho I am always loyal I prefer when they sing in their own language. Having said that, they can do no wrong. Also, stand by Min Yoongi's side so we don't lose him.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
You have Jimin-ed so hard and I love it. 😂 I feel like you have a Jimin bias and 6 bias wreckers. 🤣 Also, that amazing performance, the only standing ovation of the night, and they still didn’t win an award. 😑 Scam.
The guy in the public whid red beanie is Justin Bieber, Jungkook have made some covers off his songs and the are in the same family now. Bih Hit/Hybe bought the music label ithaca where Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and other artist belong to
Hey 👋🏻 Because we love and support our dear Yoongi especially in his ordeal against the Korean media these days I suggest you listen to songs like " We are Bulletproof" "louder than bomb" " palor night by agust d " " the last by agust d " With the translation you will really understand the meanings of the band's story and their struggle against haters, the Korean press and the Korean people in general and really they only have ARMY and each other 💜
It supports SUGA more if people listen/watch the original songs on BTS' own company channels (HYBE LABELS and BANGTANTV -- BIG HIT RUclips channel seems to have been retired ) so that SUGA's statistics are raised for his records and awards. Watching BTS productions on reactors' channels gives the reactor view credit, not BTS.
V was chatting up "some girl"? It was only Olivia Rodrigo, a three-time Grammy winning artist, as well as seven Billboard Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, four iHeartRadio Music Awards, four People's Choice Awards, and an American Music Award, a Brit Award. and a Juno Award.
Jin had surgery on his hand, he ore a ligament. He couldn't do the jacket of the other stuff and he couldn't bump his hand as it was pretty new and one bump caused him pain.

💜
And did Yoongi made that time his Foto-book shots in desert too? Or was it different time?
@@chisays9936 yes I think so. I want to say RM used the desert too for his photobook. But not too sure.
Thank you for sharing. I was going to mention them only having one day to rehearse, but you did it for me, and very well, by the way. 😊
Jimin had also had an appendectomy
Fun Fact: V was counting in his head the whole time to match up with bg sounds, while also doing skit/flirting with OliviaRodrigo " he said to olivia blah blah lol" . GRAMMYS TAEHYUNG MADE HISTORY. Bts fan or not everyone was obsessed over him that day, the whole twitter went crazy. What a day to live fr.

One of the best. Thinking that Jk and Jhope had just recovered from covid, v just recovered from injury, JIn was injured.

Kim Taehyung is freaking amazing here, even when saying blah blah blah in the girl’s ear 😂😂

The girl V was talking to is Olivia Rodrigo. She's a famous American singer.
Yeah... I think she earned a major Grammy that night.
But as an artist she was in her first year still.

You said samthing what i feel ...i am in a happy place ewith bts .. Thx soo much..mich love to you
I realized 2 months into the BTS rabbit hole that I had fallen in love with V's face in this performance😅 because my niece was talking about Olivia Rodrigo and showed me a picture of V talking with her and I was captivated 😂 who knew I would fall in love once again later😊

Super fun reaction!
Thank you!! 😁
Butter ala Vegas style...with a concept production of Mission Impossible/Now You See Now You Don't is a level up performance...only BTs 💯💯💯💯
This performance right here was what first actually got my interested. This is why I’m an army
Yes, this is a great, polished performance, and so very important. One of my favorites is the medley from the Osaka concert - Dope, Baepsae, Fire, and Idol. It is amazing and a great mix of them just being them as well as some choreo. Honestly, it’s a little unhinged in the best way.
I'm in love with watching you watch Jimin😂😂😂😂 your the best❤❤❤
you wouldn't believe the timeline this day when this dropped, it was insane, i just love being their fan XD
You can watch behind the scenes from Grammy, evry Awards show Bts do the allwats filmed it so fans can watch it later

So happy to see how you've grown to love BTS since you 1st reacted to them💜
I've always said there's a reason why there are 7 days in a week so I can change my bias daily.
This is one of my favorite performances live. They had to redo the choreo for this and make it special for the grammys. Notice at the beginning JHope almost falls!
The live energy here you can just feel it thru the crowd.
All members soooo fire 🔥 and V just KING OF STAGE 🔥🔥🔥😂
Glad that youd watchd thsi already 🤗💜
Hey Allonsyy, Jin had his hand injured and with a surgery so had limited moves, j-hope and jk had covid and weren't on the rehearse until 1 - 2 days before the grammys.
They got a standing ovation at the Grammys
V's look in this performance is FIRE
Yeah true, v so handsome, my pretty bias jimin saranghae
Yes had his hand operated on and there's a metal splint sticking out of his finger so the glove is there as a bit more protection. However he did get hurt we saw he touched something an he was in terrible pain but that wasn't on stage.
Could not love these boys more!!!! Kings!!!
I always pause a moment to take in the big grin on Keith Urban's face as he sits three feet away from RM.
And yes- it really is just easiest to 'bias' all of them. 😄
Thank you so much🫶
I love your reaction❤
It's so cute😂
*****Have You Seen "MY UNIVERSE" with COLD PLAY? There's a whole Doc. on Him Going to KOREA & How they id this AMAZING Project together.!
Goosebumps every time! They are electrifying.💜💜🔥🚒
BTS always sound better in live performances compared to the studio version.
A lot of what makes this legendary, is all the catastrophes that made this performance next to impossible to pull off!
You know, I can literally see the stages of me becoming an ARMY in you. Every reaction of yours is literally the same and relatable, oh my God! And you're 1000000% right about what you said regarding their energy being contagious and palpable. They make us smile whenever we watch them or listen to them. ❤❤❤love love love this performance and loved your dancing to😅😅❤❤
We are not worthy. You are right. You somehow become attached and protective of all of them. 💜
This performance is even more impressive when you realize Jin had an injured hand. JK had just been cleared from Covid like 24 hours earlier and J-Hope had gotten over Covid just a week before
Before this concert, Jin had surgery on his fingers, so he could not dance from the beginning
"That girl" 😂 Olivia Rodrigo
Definitely watch the Bangtan Bomb for this. Jin hurt, Hobi and JK with covid. A lot of obstacles to get to this.
Real legends bts 👑🥹
Бтс супер 👍 самые-самые крутые Техена Вишенка на торте😊😊😊😊мы вас ждём❤
I love this performance so much. The Scammies didn't deserve it.
Me encantan tus reacciones... Gracias
😊😊😊🫰🫰🫰💜💜💜
Jin estaba recuperándose de su cirugía.
Jin got injured before the Grammys. And JK also got Covid two weeks before so they only had one days before the Grammys to do the choreo together
MAMA 2016 e MMA 2018 por favor 🙏🏽 😭💜
Jin bts❤❤❤
I am Silver ARMY a great grandmother waiting for the second one, and tho I am always loyal I prefer when they sing in their own language. Having said that, they can do no wrong. Also, stand by Min Yoongi's side so we don't lose him.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
You have Jimin-ed so hard and I love it. 😂 I feel like you have a Jimin bias and 6 bias wreckers. 🤣
Also, that amazing performance, the only standing ovation of the night, and they still didn’t win an award. 😑 Scam.
OT7, they paved away can't wait for 2025,
Love your reaction
There isn’t a BTS live performance that isn’t legendary. That’s just who they are. Even older concerts. But 5th Muster concert will blow your mind.
The guy in the public whid red beanie is Justin Bieber, Jungkook have made some covers off his songs and the are in the same family now. Bih Hit/Hybe bought the music label ithaca where Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and other artist belong to
Olivia Rodrigo is a true survivor 🤣
Jimin always so spectacular I love my boy 🥰😎
❤❤JIN❤❤
Killing voice by BTOB Please
The Grammys were not worthy for sure!
Hey 👋🏻
Because we love and support our dear Yoongi especially in his ordeal against the Korean media these days I suggest you listen to songs like " We are Bulletproof" "louder than bomb" " palor night by agust d " " the last by agust d "
With the translation you will really understand the meanings of the band's story and their struggle against haters, the Korean press and the Korean people in general and really they only have ARMY and each other 💜
It supports SUGA more if people listen/watch the original songs on BTS' own company channels (HYBE LABELS and BANGTANTV -- BIG HIT RUclips channel seems to have been retired ) so that SUGA's statistics are raised for his records and awards.
Watching BTS productions on reactors' channels gives the reactor view credit, not BTS.
Jin required hand surgery for an I jury a month or so before this performance. So he was limited in what he could do.
Some toxic ones worked for my Olovia Rodrigo, but the presentation was incredible...(a BLINK says it)...💜🖤🩷💜🖤🩷
Great reaction, BTS are the best performers ever
Please react to Jung Kook My time live stage mix
V was chatting up "some girl"? It was only Olivia Rodrigo, a three-time Grammy winning artist, as well as seven Billboard Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, four iHeartRadio Music Awards, four People's Choice Awards, and an American Music Award, a Brit Award. and a Juno Award.
Jin had surgery on his hand, he ore a ligament. He couldn't do the jacket of the other stuff and he couldn't bump his hand as it was pretty new and one bump caused him pain.
