Jin was originally interested in acting actually, and now that he's (finally!) back from the military, we should be seeing more of his iconic humor.
I know a lot of people dislike James, but there is no doubt that he really helped to push BTS in America and therefore the rest of the world.
You should react to his Flinch episode with BTS, that is literally iconic! 💜
"oh my god, my baby, look at his hair." - that was the most army thing ever to say 🤣 Just wait until you recognize years/eras because of hair styles and hair colours haha

Jin was discharged from the military yesterday, and to celebrate he hugged 1,000 fans that were chosen by a raffle. He said in his livestream that the company was against the idea because of safety reasons but they eventually gave in although they talked him out of hugging 3,000 fans (which was what he originally wanted to do even if it took him a month) to hugging only 1,000. You can watch the video of it. He looks so happy, and he’s wearing a placard around his neck that says “give me hugs!” In Korean. 😊Seriously, who else loves their fans that much?
When I saw that announcement I legit teared up. What a sweet man he is.
A month? Bro if he can finished hugging a thousand Army in a day, he can do 3000 in just 3 days 🤣🤣

If you really want to see V’s acting check him out in the music video for the artist IU’s song Love Wins All. Probably the best acting I’ve ever seen in a music video.

When I first started diving into BTS, and I saw this playful, funny & witty side of them, I immediately thought of the films that The Beatles made in the mid 1960s. Same talent, confidence (but with humility), cohesion, frivolity, & of course, sense of humor.

Yes! And I'm also a Beach Boys/Brian Wilson fan & whenever BTS have their skits on their albums, I always think of the spoken tracks that the Beach Boys had on their albums where they were goofing around, lol. We're so lucky to have so much BTS footage to watch.
V has actually already done a tv drama when he was younger. I think back in 2017 or so? He has been offered roles in numerous countries in the last couple of years. He loves it and will definitely go into acting when BTS retires
Hwarang was in 2016. V did a great job and now I’m just waiting for him to do another drama.
And while it's not acting, he was brilliant on Jinny's Kitchen playing, well, himself 😁

BTS are such natural comedians. Ahh I love them!! 😆 Also yes PTD is so fun! It was written by Ed Sheeran and was there third English song. There's a MV as well as live at the UN!
We got Jin singing Astronaut, Super Tuna and Moon to us this morning celebrating Festa. He also did a Live Eat Jin and some dance challenges which included Seven💜. So happy he’s home💜
He was also celebrating ARMY, and getting across the threshold of the stage. He was nervous but got relaxed as the show went on. I couldn't believe I was up at 5 am to watch a man sing about fish, but there you have it, Army through and through.
Jin is a educated actor
I really liked this bit. I liked that they played with the language difference in a fun way that teased more at the English speaker not understanding Korean rather than the other way around. :)
Did you know that V acted in a K--Drama called "Hwarang"? He did great and he has been interested in possibly going into acting when ever BTS goes their separate ways in the future. Jin has also showed some interest in acting also.
The behind the scenes is worth watching. JK eating “chicotle” is iconic 😂💜🥰

I am really happy you reacted this video because it has been one of my favorite videos for a long time but I just wanted to point out that you have already reacted to permission to dance but you have said in the video that you do not know the song.
I think it’s because he records many things in advance but doesn’t necessarily post them in order of recording. I think her recorded PTD after and just now posted this one after posting PTD

You can tell who the actors are (Jin and Tae) but all of them are so funny and just have a natural chemistry that it works! I’ve never seen a more cohesive group. They just have fun together and genuinely love each other.
so many fun moments in this one. They got to perform each song twice, so a lot of fans got to gather on the other side of the street, there were so many fan cams coming out during the whole thing. Since they were also going to be on the show that day, a lot of fans were going down that street heading to the studio location. Even one of the people dancing on top of their car is well known because he had interviewed them a few times in the past, lol.

One of the front cars was ARMY! Her video of Tae sitting on the hood of the car was on Twitter. I saw PTDLA, D3 & D4!!! Fantastic, Amazing, crazy great show!

You know it's a joke in the fandom that BTS are full time comedians and part time idols 🤣🤣 they really are comedians...btw Jin was discharged from military on 12th and on 13th it was their 11th anniversary...I would love to see your reaction to Jin's other solos !!
They have actually filmed a comedic sketch video during RUN BTS, I don't remember which episodes, but if you keep watching the show, you will get to see them produce a very funny comedic short film of sorts xD
That was so great. And the finished product was so funny.
I could actually imagine them in a sitcom of some sort. Maybe something reminiscent of The Monkees. They would hilarious no matter what. Although, They would also be good in a drama too.
Dalbang Dorm! Possibly my favorite actual episodes - right up there, definitely. I think they took it more seriously than the crew expected them to 😁 and it's really fun! I think it starts at episode 73.
I love the voiceover one too, where I think it was supposed to be funny but instead they were just all very sincere and impressed the guy 😁 episode 53? Ish.

BTS are true entertainers/artists. They are way beyond being Kpop Idols.
Their music and lyrics drew me in, but their personalities are what turned me into ARMY.

These guys are hilarious, a few Run BTS's will show that. Lately I've been enjoying Bon Voyage, lots of fun but also explores friendships between them. 4 seasons x 8 episodes is a lot = good for Patreon. You MUST react to Permission to Dance, it's a feel-good during covid but very entertaining.

Very fun. I love that they don't take themselves too seriously and also that they and James just embraced the language barrier side of it (not that it's an actual problem, I'm just saying they embraced it for the laughs and the sketch) and ran with it.
I can see them in a "Ocean's 11" type of movie. It would have to be a comedic version, though. Ha!
One of the "behind the camera" girls from my local news was actually in her car stuck by the "concert," she was over the moon when it was actually BTS who stopped her. She recorded her view and they broadcast it. It was aw some. They touched her hood and she said she's never washing her car again. Lol
Idols are expected to be good at variety show entertainment (and some of them literally train for comedy - Seventeen are a great example). BTS has their own variety show, Run BTS, which is incredibly funny. You don't have to watch from the beginning - it's fine to jump in wherever really - so I often suggest that folks start from the more recent "Fly BTS" special (where they're doing aerial yoga) to get a taste of what they're like. But there are a bunch of old ones that are great too, and once I fell for BTS I did start from the beginning to get a sense of who they are and how they've grown.
V has been a working actor and Jin has trained as an actor - I suspect he might do a bit of acting this year, while waiting for the others to finish their service. I think Jimin said he might be interested in acting sometime, and I remember Jungkook saying he really didn't want to 😂 I'm sure he'd be good, but I think pretending to be someone else doesn't come naturally to him.
It's come up for Suga multiple times because he killed it as an actor in the videos for Daechwita and Haegeum. He told someone on suchwita he didn't think he could be an actor because he's not handsome enough 😂 which is nonsense, he's beautiful.
Suga, Jin, and V all have great comedic timing. Suga and V both do a deadpan delivery that works very well for me, Jin's more madcap about it. 😁
I love watching people get to know who they are when they're not performing, so yeah, please do watch some of Run BTS, or interview compilations, etc.

I do love Permission to Dance - it's another of the English pandemic songs. If you watch it, put yourself back into a mid-pandemic mindset, because the video was really incredibly touching and impactful at the time.

Honestly, they would all be great actors. And I would love to see them in something. Either all of them in a sitcom (Seven Guys. One House. All Chaos,), or dramas.
Actually, Jin studied acting prior to signing to BTS.
Tae had a role in Hwarang, in 2016; and he was so good in it. (It's a great show - I've watched it 5 times).
Yoongi was offered scripts after his Daechwita MV came out; and an actress, who was a guest on his chat show (that's right - Yoongi has a RUclips chat show; it's great, and all the guys have been guests on it) Suchwita, said a lot of her friends in the acting community say Yoongi should act. But he said he wasn't interested, and didn't think he was good looking enough. (Apparently he doesn't own a mirror. lol)
After the release of the MV for Come Back To Me, a lot of people are saying RM should try acting.
Check out the Visualizer (an MV by another name lol) for Jungkook's song Hate You. You can see he has some acting chops too.
If you look at some of BTS' MVs - and their solo MVs - as short films, you can see the can all act. It's just a matter of them finding the time. Tae said trying to film Hwarang, as well as all the group activities was stressful for him; but he didn't want to tell anyone he was struggling. But that stress ultimately led to the (now famous) Dumpling Incident. Which in turn gave us the songs Friends (Jimin & V), and 4 O'clock (V & RM).
