Enjoy it people as bands of this calibre and skill are dying out. Fan since 78. Bought single Hold The Line at age 10. Fucking great taste for a ten year old.
Cool footage! Toto's song writing formula seems to be getting better with age. The new songs on the album sound huge and the re-mastered hits sound better than ever.
The music of Toto is full of surprises, when I sometimes think that this is cool ,the way they play some songs and the next live recording Im listening is played by different accents, so variation and skill of playing is in so high level ,that please do it like this forever!!!
Toto have suffered more than their fair share of tragedy over the years, but the return of Joseph Williams to the band and in top form is surely the best thing to happen for a long time.
All talented musicians with such unique great music. Wish I could see Toto before I die. At 65 I doubt it but now the Porcaro's are gone might not be quite the same. Love to see Steve Lukathier though.
Warren Ham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The man of many sounds! Met him in 80s in Florence (Toto's gig, Joe was a lead singer, too. )....Oh, Boy, WArren actually was a lead singer that night, plus, he did few outsanding sax solos, flute solos.....I was blown away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But... He has Daivd Paige, Joseph Williams and Steve Porcaro... 3 of those are originals and the other was their high school friend. The drummer and the bass player are dead (Jeff and Mike Porcaro) and the other singer can't sing anymore... This is more toto than the 2007 lineup
I've been there and loved it (HUGE Toto fanboy!), but the mix could have been even better. Couldn't hear the guitar perfectly because the drums had way too much compression and presence...
Where is Joseph??? I realy afraid of him.. It is something strange... On the rehearsal there is a phantom or something... Who is the guy singing the part of Joseph?
Never cared for Paiste cymbals in a live environment--they just don't cut like Zildjians or (their cousins) Sabians do. You just can't hear them well. In 35+ years playing drums I think I tried about every brand and although they are great for the studio, Paiste cymbals just never did it for me for live shows.

Toto - an example of eternity in music!
I have loved this band for what seems like forever... they never fail to amaze me.
Seeing them live is epic in every way.
Even just tuning up these guys sound amazing
Shannon has given them their Mojo back! No question....I think that Porcaro groove is back. It makes a world of difference
Absolute!!!!! He is like Jeff!!!! I full agree with you!!! He is so important!!!

Respect for goding on...
Always loved this band , no matter who the drummer is !!!!!!!

Shem has a great voice, it fulfils Joseph's. Luke and the guys are like a vine...with age are getting better
RIP Fergie Frederiksen , Mike Porcaro , et Jeff Porcaro

Warren Ham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The man of many sounds! Met him in 80s in Florence (Toto's gig, Joe was a lead singer, too. )....Oh, Boy, WArren actually was a lead singer that night, plus, he did few outsanding sax solos, flute solos.....I was blown away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine being this tool here, who didn't go to see them in 2013, and didn't realise they were playing in 2018.

The bass player is a body builder of note!
That's Shem Von Schroeck... he's played with some heavyweights in his career. And yeah, he's pretty beefy I reckon. :-D
jeremy nichols z
Love Toto but this band has been Steve's solo band than anything for a long time.

@@yourdrummer2034 Shannon Forrest

You're also hearing the audio from either a camera or a phone, so it's only going to be as good as the source recording it.
Which camera you used? Tks
Ju Galassi Samsung Galaxy Note 8
The sound is great too. I listened more this soundcheck version of "Alone" than the studio one.
What is the name of this song ?
It's called "Alone" and a new recorded song for the new album

Where is Joseph??? I realy afraid of him.. It is something strange... On the rehearsal there is a phantom or something... Who is the guy singing the part of Joseph?
You can see him on stage singing....take a better look!
Indeed, he's getting pretty big again.
What? Dave Grohl on drums?

This Mr. Forrest is the best for Toto and you know it you jealous ass twit.
Shannon is as talented as Jeff was. He keeps great time and has thoughtful fills for the music. What more do you want?!
+Jimmy Gilstrap 👍👍👍
Shannon was top recording drummer in Nashville before joining Toto...no comment!
@@partslig123 Don't be angry about hansen... Shannon Forrest fits perfect to Toto 🙂
Wannabee guitarist;-)
