How do you land the drone though? I just purchased it from Amazon and idk how to land. I push the joystick all the way down but it doesn’t hit the ground. It stays above ground about 10 inches or so. I already crashed it cause I didn’t know how to land it lol
It’s been a while since I’ve flown this model but I believe it has an automatic takeoff/land button. Should be a button with an arrow pointing up and one pointing down on the controller somewhere. If so, try that and lmk.

I haven't taken it outside yet. I'll fly it tomorrow. It did come with the extra propellers so I'll swap if it won't fly with chipped one. The silica pouch was busted and the beads were everywhere. I wiped with alcohol and the paint came off and gave it a gray and graphite black camo look. Should have paid the extra 60 or 80 for new but I think it's gonna be worth it. Thanks for all the information. 👋
It’s a fun drone! I flew it for almost 2 years with only one slight mishap. Definitely make sure it’s connected to satellites before taking off! And turn on airplane mode before connecting to WiFi, that’s been a major issue I’ve had a lot of questions on. I’m here to help! Lmk how it goes!
I have a hs360s love it, but toilet bowls, and not stable.. A friend gave me an hs720e, the second time I sent drone up, it was doing so good, beautiful pics, video, 16 satellites, synced unit.. I wound up losing over water... Drone would not respond, fell in water... I bought a hs720r...I know the hs720 series get lost,but I am going to try it... I recommend, buying cheap drone to learn, and drone simulator app....
Well what a great guide - That thing has so many features. I've got a Holy Stone HS270 and a Mavic Air , The 270 was very cheap and a great starter drone, it was under £75! - you don't mind crashing stuff like that. The 720 you demo has a lot of the features my Mavic has - no collision avoidance but hey.. including the self fly stuff like Orbit (my first crash as I had not set the orbit distance and it got stuck in a tree, thankfully undamaged). Your vid though sounded well prepared, great filming - love the dropped in screens from the drone camera. Good job dude - you watch those views go up! As for next reviews, stick with Holy Stone - They are cheap, well made, well featured and they have excellent customer service I've found. The HS470 would be good and is cheap but with brushless motors or the HS600 which has bonkers battery range and great camera with gimbal, bit more pricey though.

It’s a super fun drone! And I honestly feel a lot more people buy this drone than any DJI product. Many people just want a beginner drone that still has some smart features for cheap and this is it! Buying DJI as a first drone is like buying a Lamborghini as a first car. Things will go wrong and when they do, I’d rather have something cheap to learn on than make a $1000 mistake cause I didn’t know what I was doing. Thank you for watching and enjoy your flights!

That’s an excellent idea! The drone itself comes fully put together, and replacing blades are as easy as using a screwdriver to take off old props and replace with new. If you need any help, feel free to ask me anything and I’ll do my best!

Hey there! It’s been a while since I’ve flown this specific drone but the app I use in the video should work great! The app I use in this video will allow you to switch between imperial and metric and you can set the height and distance up to a certain number once you’re in the app, there’s a lot you can do. I’m sure I mentioned exactly what app I use in the video, just can’t remember off the top of my head. Glad you got this epic machine tho and happy flying. 🙏 Namaste
You may have a bad battery, if you followed the steps in this video to power on and it’s not turning on, either the battery is bad or the drone itself is bad, I’d say get in touch with Holy Stone for any further help.

@@siemprefeliz1 you only need to connect to wifi to install any updates, you will need to connect to the drones wifi which will show up once you turn on the drone and go to wifi settings, you should see the Holy Stone network in your WiFi connections once your drone is on, wherever you may be.
Is it connected to the holy stone WiFi network and do you have satellites? Have you followed all the proper steps before take off? Return to home is not an autocorrect feature
@@MoshMob yes I did the calibration and connected to the wifi had 14 satellites shown at the time. It went up hovered for 30 seconds then just listed and took off sideways So I retried calibration went through all the steps and did the same thing. Another you tube guy said there is 2 calibrations but on my screen it only shows the one where you rotate it horizontally and then vertically??
@@randywedler3798 there’s only the one calibration, horizontal then vertical as you said. I’d say contact the company as you may have gotten a defective one. It happens and I’m sorry if that’s the case. I’ve definitely received my fair share of damaged goods. Just get a replacement and hopefully the next one will work for ya!

Lousy drone that they won't support. Mine went rogue, flew off, and all they offered me was 35% off my next purchase. Why would I buy another when they don't stand behind their products?
BUYER BEWARE!!! Don't expect this thing to work properly past it's warranty even if you are careful with it! The camera stops connecting and customer support will leave you hanging. I got my drone for Christmas 2020 and it worked just fine for the first couple of years, then one day I take it out to fly and it just stopped connecting to anything to view it's camera, rendering the thing useless for drone shots which is the only reason I wanted it in the first place. To add insult to injury, customer support was quick to say there was nothing they can do and even hangs up on me when I ask for alternate fixes. For almost $300 You are better off spending your money elseware.
Mine still connects and flies perfectly even after numerous crashes and replaced parts. I did have to replace batteries cause they got old and bloated. For the price, this is still the best starter drone out. Several years later and still a fan of holy stone.

After reviewing the video the auto takeoff/land button is on the left side of the front of the controller. Hope this helps

In our country this drone is really cheap. Like 150$ cheap (8200php). Just bought mine and cant wait.

Just got the HS720e. Can NOT figure out how to put my phone in the holder and still be able to push the speed and photo buttons. Ugh!!
My holy stone drone tends to dance when it's in hoover mode. I can make it go forward, but it descends when it does that.

Does anybody know how to turn on the HS720E landing lights? Nowt is mentioned in the owners manual.
There is a button on the top right or top left of the controller with a light symbol on it. Click it once and the bottom lights should come on

Mine still connects and flies perfectly even after numerous crashes and replaced parts. I did have to replace batteries cause they got old and bloated. For the price, this is still the best starter drone out. Several years later and still a fan of holy stone.

@@zZGeeWizardZz 4 years of flying with a $300 drone… I’m pretty sure it did its job. Not saying it’s not a bummer, but honestly if you had this drone this long and haven’t had to replace anything, that’s an amazing drone.
The battery takes forever to charge.
It’s always good to get a 2nd one. But if it’s taking more then 2 hours for full charge, something defective
On my first charge, it took several hours to fully charge... normal?
Honestly anything more then 2 hours is kinda weird for a full charge from empty

Try turning on airplane mode first. Then connect to the WiFi. I’ve got plenty of videos showing out to connect it properly.
