i love the salt and pepper crab but they got cheap here in northern va and dont have it anymore on the buffets, but i have to tell you, only part of the meat fell out before frying, but there was plenty more meat there, you just have to pull apart each leg and the body side, to reveal all the super tender meat. i have seen some asian ladies once, they just ate the whole thing and spit out the shells. i would never do that but some do.

In Brazil, there is a type of sushi called "Hot Philadelphia" - it has cream cheese and salmon or crab (or imitation crab) on the inside and it's coated in panko flakes and deep fried. When it's freshly fried, it's so delicious. I've been to around a dozen Chinese buffets from Lufkin all the way down to Houston but I've never found this Hot Philadelphia. How can this only be found in Brazil?; I heard it was invented in the US!

again, that fried scallop is not scallop, you can pull it apart and unroll it, and there is no abductor muscle on the side, like a real one, but i love the taste, but yes, if it sits too long, they dry out and appear to be over cooked, but they simply dry out is what you just experienced.
OMG all these food places looks so nice Nishino I need some good tips to learn the bus routes or if theres an app to have a better orientation for the routes. Haven't been in Houston since 2013.
me again, just commenting here as im watching.. but the pulverized crab you see in the sushi rolls and later the crab stuffed dish, it also not real crab. i know you said it is, but its fake crab thats minced. but still tasty.
I live near here and have visited this restaurant. They do have many options but they lack flavor the food is very bland nothing is outstanding or tasty for that manner rather unappetizing after the first plate
