Great video! I've typically done these early on in fresh servers for a chance at an early 14 or 16'er but have yet to be lucky so far. I can imagine this chest will likely be camped 24/7 after a couple weeks into the server for that chance with the level cap being 25.
Back in vanilla there was a forum called blizzhackers that had a super easy software you could use. I think the forum is called ownedcore now, but the it's probably much more difficult to actually fly hack these days. @@nataliep6385
So I am testing this theory today on a Classic Era server but with an Aliance toon instead of Horde. So far I have made it to Hillsbrad Foothills as a lvl 2 Dwarf Rogue but Its a lot of deaths because the old Death run trick doesn't work anymore. We shall see. Well, I did actaully make it to the tower as a lvl 2 Dwarf Rogue. No chest. i'll check back later.

I can not advise this at all for hardcore, you will 1000% die to mobs in EPL when going from The Bulwark to the water, and again when going from the water to the tower.

In Classic, whoever gets it first gets the loot. In Retail, when something up for grabs gets looted, there's a timer where anyone can loot it for equal reward opportunity.
Doesn't the chest have a chance to respawn as a locked chest ? Also it wouldn't suprise me if they deactivated chest spawn in higher level zones for SOD but I'll give it a shot.
Run to the edge of where the window to respawn shows up and respawn slightly closer to the water. You're gonna die, but once you make it into the lake you're good all the way through WPL. [Insert Obligatory "A undead made it to the water!" joke and reference]

Ascension is dope, but I think there's room in the world for both. It's arguable that the success of private servers like Ascension and Turtle wow have helped push Blizzard into a "Classic +" mindset, which is a good thing.
Interesting, according to patch notes chests like these were taken out entirely. Maybe (at a later date) I will poke around and see if I can't find some way to make a spawn on SoD.

Just spawned in after 2.5 hours. Waited 2 hours, logged off, came back 30 minutes later and it was there. So might have changed the respawn timer.

World chests located in high level zones will not ever spawn during early phases.
