Yo Scotte. I'm done with my 2 alli characters for now, are you playing EU horde and if so what realm? Thinking of leveling an orc hunter next, not to abuse scorpid poison in pvp or anything...
If you're Horde, there's a locked chest at Bael'dun Digsite in Mulgore you can loot that contains wayland supplies. It spawns every 1-2 minutes. You can quickly kill the Dwarves (levels 7-9) there for the artifact storage key to open the chest. The run to Thunder Bluff isn't far (2 minute run back from the dig site). The wayland supplies NPC is across from the Auctioneers in Thunder Bluff. Pretty fast going from Neutral - Friendly.
Is there an hand in place in thunder bluff? Or are you flying to org each time?
There's a NPC near AH in TB.
I was looking for this specifically, it's a low level supply crate obviously, but I used it for a while as it's fast to get and fast to hand in. But it's also a questing area so the number of people there varies a lot.
there is a chest in the goblins north of thunder bluff very close to the northern elevator
For alliance, the cave in redridge, northwest of lakeshire was good, close to FP, quick flight back to SW. 5 spawns of chest on a 7 min timer. Handed in 3-4 shipments an hour. It's less contested than the gnoll areas south of lakeshire.
I've been farming gnolls for 3 hours with basically no contesting, but only gotten 5 boxes using holy nova as a level 35 priest. It's SLOW

For alliance redridge gnoll camp near elwood 3 camps have chest that sporns on a 7-10min timer. By the time you hand in and run back its up again. You can head to the other camp or layer if you dont get a drop or someone else loots it. Friendly to honored in

Re: logout/death skips - for some reason the addon does not take into consideration the Thunder Bluff graveyard. Was trying to help a shaman get their Shamanistic Rage rune and if you die at the far northwestern part of Mulgore in the hills with the harpies, according to the border line in the addon (logoutskip and deathskip borders are the same for mulgore > stonetalon), you should get sent to the Stonetalon graveyard just east of Sun Rock, but instead you get sent to the TB graveyard. So PSA for anyone trying to logout or death skip to Stonetalon from Mulgore I guess lol.
I've been using LogoutSkips for ages and that's the first inaccuracy i've ever come across, it's always been very reliable with showing where you'll be sent

I am sure some one has said this all ready but once you get a crate and if you can complete it right there, you can then pick up another one without having to turn in the first one. So if you have all the materials on you, you can fill multiple crate before you head back.
Awesome video man! I agree with the statement early in this video, most farm spots are overpopulated after a video comes out whereas this one is more of a 'how to find your own farm spot'
I just farmed the reputation by standing on top of a solid chest that spawns in ashenvale, south of mystral lake in the tent of Krolg and layer swapping. With the rework of ashenvale you can no longer layer swapping that easily but i think if you find a good isolated spawn of solid chest in other map is the best option to grind the rep. It requires 12 turn ins of waylaid supplies from solid chests (or even less if you are lucky) to get honored from friendly
I usually don't do "exploits" like this, but I literally JUST got skullbash on my druid because i couldn't find chests to safe my life. I hate this system. It's my only gripe about SOD. The next character I make, I will absolutely use whatever tools I can to bypass this stupid system. Thank you very much for the informative video.
For Horde I did great right next to the Stonetalon Mountain flight point, it's a short travel time to Thunder Bluff and if you have a strong farming class like warlock as I did you can just clear everything in your way
restxp guide is the greatest addon ever created IMO for casual limites time players like myself.

Its a good guide but unfortunately since the word is out about chests and spots like around Taurajo, I don't believe chest farming will be the fastest taking competition into account.
I did this like an old school kill farm. Find condensed mobs with fast respawns and grey to green levels. Kill. Fast. I did this as warrior in zoram strand. 3 hours to honored completing almost every box (2-3 were just ridiculously priced mats so I turned em in empty). Don't know what it ended up costing me in mats but its negligible: your are essentially farming at the same time. Made more than enough in crawler meat, greens and greys. Just find a comfortable spot and farm dudes, its much easier than it looks. Did it all while finding only 1-2 in chests. And chests aren't 100% so camping them is a no-no. 7-10min respawn time. Having just one not have supplies is devastating.
Smart guy, you can't help some people though. They will get mad for trying to tell them different, people don't believe in good honesty simple work

if you have a mate to help you, you get free teleports and its pretty easy. be in a group when you farm and your mate is in the main city and he is going to the pvp guy searching as a group for a bg, when the bg pops and you havnt found a crate yet dont accept, otherwise accept and leave the bg. now you are in your main city, works with alt accounts too or with atleast lvl 10 twinks that dont wanna run all over the world to learn how to shoot a bow etc.
Easiest way is duskwood flight point south to the east 3 chest spawn 10-15 min just enough time to fly back turn in and fly back. Took a couple hours but did it in a night.

People who defend this design Blizzard made must have no notion of quality whatsoever, it is possible to implement challenging and rewarding things without making them uterly frustrating, dumb and waste players time
Thanks for the information but I won't bother grinding rep because only being able to carry 1 chest is totally dumb and not fun at all. They need to increase this to at least 5 chests at a time or earn it by completing a quest chain of some sort.
Soloing WC on a hunter for gear and gold while opening the chests for these supply boxes is a good one two punch. And ull have to head back in between runs anyway to drop off greens, blues, deviate scales etc.

I've solo ran sfk up to baron 9 times and not once did the chest have a crate. Was starting to pissing me off.

stonetalon mountains, 33,69, harpies have a good rate around it and next to the big tree with the harpie nest spawns a solid chest aswell
How much of this is still relevant?
Do the battered footlockers drop them? They could be an easier method if you had skeleton keys (test before committing I don’t think they are rogue lock pick only but it’s been a long time since I cared about them)
dwarven detect treasure chests is under rated but i love it.
Yeah I learned about the lower lvl ones by TB. Was farming 3 chests, until one turn in I got a total of 5 rep. WTF was my reaction. Now I know try these places thanks

6:31 it’s good to note that there is a logout skip in boulder ravine that ports you to TB. THAT would shave a further 5 minutes.
I wish I would of knew about the log off skips when i was doing Hardcore.
Took me about 4 hours, and 30g to grind this rep up to Honored. Did it at the redridge Gnoll camp north of town.
Did the same to the west of the fp
I go to Orc Champions cave in redridge. High level box will give 700-800 rep
Keep in mind guys, the level 10 supply chests dont give you anything past friendly
there 100% has to be some sort of hidden cooldown on finding boxes. was a reddit thread with alot of other people reporting the same
Got a better 1: in west mulgore the dwarfs. They drop a key to a locker. This has a 100% a crate inside. And in the dwarfen Camp has 1 normal chest as well
It's not 100% but the rate is pretty high.
The fact the uncompleted crates are unique is completely ridiculous. I could understand ones requiring the same items being unique, but not all of them
I wonder if there is a max level of mobs the crates can drop from. Like would they also drop from like lvl 27-28 mobs?
One thing u maybe forgot, those low lvl chests gets u only to friendly so chests near towns will be obsolete very fast

Wow, this is so complicated. On alliance I’ve been flying to Westfall, walk to duskwood, there are three chest spawns right on the west side of duskwood. Then I go back to SW.
Its so stupid that you can have only one unfinished supply at you but countless finished dont mind .
how do you get from Org to boulder lode mine?
I’m just not gonna do healing on my pally until they stop gating healing on paladins with beacon of light rune being at honored and can only hold one chest at a time f it I’m ret until they make it easier to heal - priests don’t have to do this and Druids don’t have to do it for their bis healing rune either
I'm gonna bust my gut laughing when Blizz corrects all this and rewinds everyones rep who did it.

There must be some hot fix I’m unaware of because they just stopped dropping for one of my characters. I’m 4k from honored and they haven’t dropped for 2 days even from chests.

theres only three chests but the area north of Darkshire in the woods is lightly traveled so i just sniped the chests there and ran back to flight master, my luck ran out eventually though and i ended up running to raven hill looking for chests
I just go to red ridge, the gnoll cap right by the flight path has 3 chests. I just loot and fly back to SW and turn in then come back. Did 0-honored in 3 hours no problem
Boulderlode mine is a great spot, but its swarmed with people.
Honestly, just solo RFC on a higher level character and turn in the chests. Its right in org!
Anyone trying to actively grind these.. just don’t, do some quests or other activities grinding the boxes is way too demoralizing. Making content trying to speed the process just create more competition.
I had horrible time farming them in the cave by org, and the camps south of barrens. The best luck I had was the camps by RFK. Higher level mobs seem to have a higher chance to drop them.
There’s a better way but I’m not done yet and can’t afford a nerf. I’ll post to your channel when I’m done
Broo I just found the org skip farm yesterday. Now it's gonna be overrun b4 I can use it
This is not a hard farm, just layer hop with nova world buff addon and farm all the crates you want. As soon as you get one just delete it by dragging it out your inventory, then after a good day of farming these head back to orgrimmar and use item restoration feature to get all your crates back, they will then be sent to your mailbox and you can turn them in 1 by 1 by going back and fourth between the mailbox and the npc. You all can thank me later

@@Scottejaye worked and still works as of now for me at least. I missed the part with you saying that btw. Anyways y point still stands, when they get item restoration to work for whomever it seems to fail for, it should be the fastest way of doing it
I got the skip addon and I am not kidding when I saw every single line so far has been wrong. I'm wasting more time trying to death skip using this addon than I did going off instinct because so many of the lines are flat out inaccurate.

My advice: just farm in Ashenvale. Get your PvP rep while you're waiting for a crate to drop.

The mine at OG is 100% the way to go.Mobs are high enough to drop the better crates and low enough to no threat. Lots of chests and super quick travel time.
Now take down the video so it wont get too crowded!

The 2 worst things about SOS is the class balance warlocks,ret paladins and healing mages and how to aquire runes some of the are really bad like this rep one which i refuse to do and other ones like warlock meta.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I've been really enjoying the demanding nature of the Waylaid Supplies Rep grind.
It enables the more dedicated players to advance faster and, in an mmo, I appreciate distinctions between groups of players being created via systems like this.

So many comments about ‘grinding’. Is this fun for you or is this another job? WoW devs got you to stay subbed AGAIN by adding in a few spells and a grindy reputation or two. It’s the SAME game we’ve done 4-5 times but for what? ONE raid?
It’s grindy, tedious, boring, and worst: not fun.
Consider before you invest hours like I did: are you having any fun? Or is it a feeing of ‘doing something’ that you’re getting. If the latter, there’s many better things/games to do.

It is not neckbeard level at all 🤣 people are just too used to playing games where you choose a character and queue up for a game on equal terms with everyone else… WoW was never something like that, its actually the contrary vanilla wow was extremly good towards neckbeards, if you take 40min raiding and thunderfurry timbermaw rep ect. In to consideration.

i mean, i didnt stand afk for anything i grinded it out friendly to honored as rogue in less than 4 hours.. its the players that decide if they want to do it in an afk manner, so as the player i advise you to stop complaining about how YOU indiviually decide to do it :P it makes no sense crossing the street then complaining about crossing the street...
and yes, the only way neckbeard twinks could get healing pouch lvl19 was standing dead gaining 1-6 rep from every kill you'd do on another account, vanilla was out ofthis world terrible in this specific regard.

Could you be more vague with your complaint? The game is stopped at level 25 so I have no idea what your problem is.
Its difficult to not have multiple 25s by now.
I farmed my way to honored the regular way, and I find this logout skipping, and death ordeal un-immersive. And it lessens the accomplishment, and the fun aspects of reputation to me. 🙂 there you have it, my thoughts on the subject.

Im considering cancelling my sub cause this is just a piss take from the devs. Totally have fucked so many classes over. Complete and utter joke. Higher drop rates with able to hold multiple items. @@Madlux14 I just did. Only resubbed for SoD and I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. After all interviews I was really thinking they finally get it. Turns out they don't have a clue and don't care. They put zero playtime into SoD when they said the team was having a blast playing it which is utter bollocks they didn't play more than an hour.
