Q: Can I use my phone instead of the USB?
A: I have never tried using a phone to get Install Media before. I dont think I would risk my phone that way as in order to create the Install Media, the USB is usually formatted and all DATA is erased.

Hi there, been watching a lot of your videos and it has greatly improved my computer skills, Thanks so much for all you do! i do have a question though. So i bought an Hp Victus 15-fa1093dx around November was running amazing and the game was taking a lot of the 8Gb ram but dint have much slow-ness or issues and then hadn't touched it for a few weeks and it was running a bit slow possible due to it only having 8GB of ram and me trying to run a pretty hefty game, so i went ahead and tried to factory reset and it was doing everything fine, when it got stuck around 50+ percentage of complete and ran into in error "computer restarted unexpectedly (was plugged into power supply through wall).etc. etc. please press okay restart to restart the computer and then restart installation.
Or when i do re install windows 11 my wifi and touchpad do not work and or are being detected by the computer even though running diagnostics tells me my machine is in prefect working order?

I am getting an error when trying to download the Setup onto the flash drive. It reads “There was a problem running this tool”
Try reformatting the USB. If that fails to help, try a different one :)
Can you use any usb? Or is it a specific usb that’s needed?
You can see the USB requirements in the download page on the Microsoft site. As long as its large enough, most USBs should work

This is how I do it and the installation media rarely gives errors.. when you use ruphus it's problematic

Good day my man, I installed the downloaded the Windows 11 Setup, but it doesn't show the usb option when I open it. It just shows "8GB of free disk space needed on (:C)
Are you choosing the 2nd option? The first option will try downloading it to the computer's c drive. The 2nd option will look for a USB
Can you create it in EUFI mode with this windows creation tool? Cause it's all legacy mode here. Let me know

Yo i followed your tutorial and everything seemed to be going fine until it was installing updates in windows setup and gave me a blue screen saying “your device ran into a problem and needs to restart, we’ll restart it for you” with the stop code being “inaccessible boot device”. Any idea on how to fix it?
What brand computer do you have? Also, was it turning on and working well before this attempted install? If not, what was the issue?
@@PC_Monkey i have a lenovo. Before this i tried factory resetting it and it got caught in a loop of restarting
@@PC_Monkey my laptop also had issues before the factory reset. It was very slow and i always struggled with updating it. Whenever it tried to update, it would take hours and would get stuck restarting so i had to shut down the computer so i think it might have damaged it.
@PC_Monkey Hey, I just dropped a message an hour ago regarding the trouble I am facing in your previous video. I just checked your description on that video, so I am thinking probably this is the next step. What if my laptop was already installed/upgraded with Windows 11 but since I got a No bootable device found error. @@PC_Monkey Hey, sorry for the late reply! Nothing had happened, it got restarted all of a sudden and showed me the error. After taking it to the computer shop, the engineer did the scan tests, he was unable to detect the hard drive then he opened the laptop. The hard drive was very much there but was not detecting and there was too much of spillage (food particles inside) the system as the laptop was not serviced since last 3-4 years. So, first he serviced the laptop, hard drive got detected but the SSD was corrupted. So got it replaced and just got it delivered today. Anyways thanks for your help bro. Really appreciate it. 🙌🏻🇮🇳

@@PC_Monkey i tried all of them exept replacing my hard drive for now, and the only recovery option I have is D2D recovery
@@deltagotgroceries8155 If you cannot find how to switch the setting in BIOS or if switching did not help, then reinstall the Operating System.

If you cant create your own, you may have to purchase it. You can see an example of a good install media USB in the Repair Tools list here; www.amazon.com/shop/pcmonkey. If the install fails or you cannot get it started, most likely, your Hard Drive is bad and needs to be replaced. Let me know if you would like help with that operation.

Is windows free now? Don't they want a license key?
Upgrading and installing Windows is usually 'free' with newer computers as the install will pull the key directly from the motherboard. If its a older computer, the install process may prompt you for that info, as it cant pull it automatically. Is that what is happening to you?
@@PC_Monkey na i just wanted to make a bootable usb with windows on it to test various things with windows just like with a Linux bootable usb, i thought u have to get a licence key for windows bootable usb to work
