I’m pretty new to gouache and this has really helped me out, and your art is amazing! Also, I was wondering how you would go about painting darker skin tones, or is it the same sort of process? (If there isn’t a vid on it already)

      Thankyou 🤗
Well! The process is somewhat similar, for darker skintones - the reds and blues would be more. So you can experiment different proportions of yellow, red , blue (red and blue to be added a little more than yellow) with white according to the requirements.
I would be making one for dark skin tones too( maybe within December)
      Hope this was helpful ✨

Colour mixing part was really great addition.
Just curious: why was the brush a bad choice? Too soft for gouache?
And lastly: do you have a link to the refs? Is it from pinterest?

💗Thank you! Yes, the brush was too soft for gouache, and the paper wasn’t thick enough, which made it harder to execute as planned. A synthetic or acrylic brush would’ve been much better. And yes, the references are from Pinterest! ( I normally search portrait photography or sometimes unique portraits )
