Only just catching up on your VLOGs and really enjoying the personalisation of your car - shallow I know but the look of the car with this latest addition is fantastic. I did smile when you mentioned the compromises and how individuals who choose an M3 are looking to go quickly so shouldn't be worried by that which may not be the case if they owned a 320d - don't you know that a 320d is probably the quickest car on UK roads :) Regards, Kevin.
Hah! It's usually 116d's that give me the most 'come on, have a go' grief! Having spent a week driving a loan 430d, you realise that whilst the power is night and day different, the real joy with the M3 is the feel and the experience. It's not perfect by a long way but everything is a compromise in one way or another!
I had my little M135i in for its first service and due to an error by the dealer on some previous work I ended up with an M4 Competition Pack for 24 hours (post run in service status). From the moment you press the start button the car fizzes with energy / power - it really came home to me that this wasn't like my little car turned up a few notches, its a different beast altogether. The wheels do look better in the flesh and this particular car was a Yas Marina Blue colour which I did like as well. Yes the ride was 'choppy' at times but nothing I couldn't live with. Thoroughly enjoyed the day, the performance, the looks, etc - in summary the overall experience and I've been surfing the BMW UK used site looking at M3 CPs (I need the rear doors for commitments) every so often! And finally much like you I tend to get similar grief from Golf GTDs! Regards, Kevin.
We have an M235i Vert so I know exactly what you mean in terms of comparisons. M3 lovers will hate me saying it but the M235i's engine is just soooo much more classy. The M3 (mine especially) is just angry but there is that 'buzz'! Always amuses me when get in the 235 - just feels so slow! Yet spend a week in the Disco and it feels like a time machine. Then you get back in the M3 and it's like "holy cr*p" :-)

Hello. how is the back seats? stupid question probably, but I was thinking bye one as a daily driver..
Use them with car seats for both kids no problem. Really practical.
