thanks for such an informative video Taylor! may I ask, how much the taxi rides were on average? say from Ponta do Sol to Funchal, or to a hiking destination
If I remember correctly around 50 euro from PdS to Funchal. We usually had 4-5 people in a van to split the cost. A further destination could cost more though
We have several sand beaches in Madeira, but not in Ponta do Sol
Is there anything similar to Outside in Funchal? It looks so cool, but not sure if it's worth the transportation burden?

Sounds interesting! How much is it per month to stay at Outside?
It depends which location you are at. For example, Los Angeles is more expensive than Madeira. And also the longer you stay, the bigger the discount. Members save 15% on trips of 7+ nights, 30% on 30+ night trips and 35% on 60+ night trips.
For a month stay I think you can expect to spend $1,500-2,300, again depending on location & probably the season.
I want to do this! Can you request for a computer monitor? Is there a gym near by? and is it easy to go running in that area? Thank you!!!!
Hi Sonia! There are monitors available at the free coworking space not very far from Outsite. There wasn’t a traditional gym, but outdoor workout classes hosted a few times a week plus yoga at the hotel on the hill that we could sign up for. Definitely join the nomad village slack which hosts all these events! As for running, a few strong runners in our group would go frequently but from outsite it’s mostly all uphill 🙃 I think they found routes they liked to run but none of them were easy. It’s a beautiful area though! Enjoy
