Personally for the beast races I use "BeastHHBB" for a unique overhaul of every vanilla beast character and for Orcs I use "Children of the Pariah" which does the same for every orc in vanilla. The orc one however is now only available on the mod authors tumblr.

Have you checked out the mod I mentioned though? The keyword there is "high poly". The NPCs don't have blocky faces anymore. Anyway, I'm not sure why you want a "vanilla" mod to make any difference. The point is to stay true to vanilla while improving on its quality.
For the most variety, I recommend these combinations ... For face, go with EasyNPC so you can pick and choose from different mods which face to use, and it's only takes up one ESP. For varied NPC bodies, go with OBody together with 3BA and HIMBO and all the corresponding bodyslide presets you want. Use Bits and Pieces for skin in combo with Racial Skin Variance to distribute different beautiful skin based on race and musculature. This also works great with OBody. For children overhaul, I recommend The Kids Are Alright Renewal and Wild Child. You will have the most individual looking NPCs scattered in Skyrim with this setup. As a side note, use Wrye Bash and Mator Smash to get your mods to play nice with each other .
I'm jealous you got the Dibella's Blessing mod working. I can't get it, nor the Sons of Nirn mod, or the authors' Children replacer, and the Orc replacer to work either, it sucks cause they all look so good. Also I haven't found many non-visual mods for NPCs, so thanks! Haven't finished watching yet but so far so good! And did you already mess with your game's saturation/contrast/brightness already? I'm impressed you did that so fast! ...I'm rambling, welp. Thanks for the video!
Have you tried making sure they're at the absolute bottom of your list? Including your plugins? They're sometimes tricky to get right, especially the children mod for some reason (even though it should be as easy as plug and play). And yes! I changed a little bit of the saturation in the ENB settings and also use a new Reshade preset now. I'll keep messing with it and slowly I'll updtae my graphics mods at large for another graphics video soon.
Nariva TV Unfortunately I seem to have the invisible NPC bug from FSMP but only with this authors mods. I'm guessing you won't be able to because of mod perms, but have you considered sharing the setting you use for your enb/reshape when you get things situated? Your game always looks so nice!

I'm surprised you didn't have Childran of the north in with the replacer. It made by the same mod author of the other two replacers listed and you can use it with RS children. The kids looks lovely in game and they all look different.
You said to share, and I went to type this up, suggesting the detailed NPCs series, and that was the next thing you covered. Yeah, those shits are great. I remember it took some configuring, as to not have backpacks clashing with shields on NPC's backs, and I'm not really looking forward to doing that again with this LO.
Another couple great ones is called cheeky kids and courier delivers to npcs. Cheeky kids adds dialogue between children and adult npcs where children will run up and talk all sorts of trash to the adults. Its quite hiliarious and now has a spot in all my load orders. Courier delivers to npcs does what the name says. the Courier will deliver letters to npcs and to top of the courier . Dapper Deliveries (overhauls the outfits and apperance of the courier) + Provincial Courier Service is a great combo.
That sage book mods good 👍. There's even unique books scattered around the world to find, and you can copy them at the sage table in Dragon reach . Another nice npc mods are the 1s that Khajiit ,Argonaon children to the game .The children are merchants too that sell great stuff .
Overall some really nice mods I might try most of them also clear voice and reading sometimes it’s hard to follow certain guys who do such videos but not here
I loved Ai overhaul but it was causing 99% of my crashes for so long. After removing it my game has been so stable, I played for 9 hrs straight recently.

On a side not though, do you have a guide to make all those hair physics and uhum.. jiggle physics… uhum. Happen? I see people w this female characters w some insane hair physics and jiggle physics you know where. But i cant find a mod that adds physics?? Do you have a guide on a visual overhaul explaining it on detail? Including installation?? Because id love to see that. I haven’t been able to download something like that because all the guides are old.. (By visual i mean essentially everything, from the hair to the ambient to the lightning. Yours looks amazing. Heyo! For the physics, use FHDT-SMP For the visual guide, you can check out my video I made about 7 months ago, but it doesn't get in detail as to how to install. Most mods are just plug and play, but you should just check out an ENB installation tutorial or follow the instructions on mod pages (it's not that hard). I don't think you'll be able to find and all-inclusive guide, you should take your time and build your game slowly
Honestly the one problem I have with Project Ja-kha'jay is that the furstocks are not playable. I get it, most of them are reworked meshes from other mods that change the default race, and there's no lycanthropy/vampirism events, but IMO it defeats part of the appeal of even having them if they're not even playable (you can kinda cheese it with the Ohmes-raht, and I think 1-2 other of the furstocks, but still). Not the whole appeal, obviously - there's a lot to be said about the value of its variety, but still.

Thank you! You can definitely use Beard of Power if you prefer (I suggest putting it BEFORE the mods shown in in my video as I experienced some issued of everyone being bald when I have it after). I personally prefer Male NPC Overhaul I used to also have Bijin AIO and Coldsun's replacers, but I uninstalled them for this video and I'll just use the ones I showed (For now). For my character, I don't even know all the mods I have... I know I use CBBE, Improved eyes, JS Emmissive Eyes, KS Hairdos, Racemenu (as should everyone), ESL High Poly P[retty Face Brows, and Bijin skin Tbh, Idk if I have more than these...

Double check if you have the requirements for each mod And reinstall both mods from scratch I had male NPC Overhaul loaded first and then Sons of Nirn while filming this and didn't have any issues. Try it in this order If that doesn't work, install a new skin mod for males Let me know if you those didn't work. Black face bug is super annoying and is actually quite common.
I'm so picky with such overhauls, I like some designs, but not others, at at times there are specific NPCs that I love the Vanilla looks too much to change meaningfully.
so im having trouble with dibellas blessing, sons of nirn, fabulous followers and male npc overhaul. they were conflicting and gave me a really dark face, i moved stuff around like putting the male mods to be late loaders on vortex and now it seems to have fixed almost all the npcs, only ones im having problem with now are a handful of women, aela, njada, uthgerd, ahlam for example. any way you coul tell me the order you loaded all these so i can fix the issue? also couldnt get hefty to work
Have you tried the botox mods? There are 2 mods one for each gender. I found them to be best for npc overhaul, unless you are running a decade old system.
A staple mod for npc's in my game is Immersive Wenches, adds a bunch of potential followers and wenches oddly enough. There are mage wenches, warrior wenches, vampire wenches and vampire cattle wenches, but the best is merchant wenches! Once you unlock the Speech perc which allows you to sell any goods to any vendor, it makes selling your loot a bit easier, plus they'll travel so you find them on the road between cities. For those who do the marriage thing there's that potential as well, just don't marry the Barmaid wenches because they'll take over your house and you won't be able to rest/wait in your own home...just like real life! Then there's the mini-quest where you collect five captured wenches from OP bandit slavers... I recommend not starting to track them down until at least level 16-20 and don't try it without a follower, where they spawn is usually already occupied by regular bandit varieties plus you have the OP Slave-trader bandits of varying difficulty and you'll get ganked hard, and swarmed. It does make those camp locations challenging, and nearly impossible at level 1-10, you were warned!

I use Dibella's Blessing but for some reason it doesn't change Aela. She stays looking like her Vanilla form. I don't have any mods to change what she looks like either...
idk why but when i try installing dibbelas blessing for vortex it sayis dowload denied or smth . just that i didint dowload and maybe the site is expired ? why is that and does anyone know any fixes
No idea why that would be the case, but try manually downloading and drag and drop into vortex If not, try restarting your computer. Sometimes as dumb as it sounds, this works.

I never quite liked "realism" mods, especially when it comes to the characters. In my opinion the game of Skyrim has a style (like any game) and when you start changing the style it can make immersion more difficult. Imagine a painting filled with life and color. A sprawling landscape of mountains, green hills and trees nestled in the valleys between. The problem being, each was painted by a different painter in a different style. It may look realistic at a glance, however each aspect draws attention away from the others instead of working together. What about realistic enemies? Sure you could make the spiders more real. Possibly even use a 3d scan of a real spider to make an exact replica. But, what about giants, vampires or dragons? With no real world equivalent, how do we make a realistic model or texture? My point being, developers usually have a style in mind when creating a world to explore. Everything from thematic colors of different regions to art for the pause menu and music to reflect on. Think about the style you want to create before adding realism mods you may come across. Happy modding👍

The only trouble I have with npc overhauls is finding patches for the same version of AI Overhaul I'm using, but it's worth the effort.

You should try WICO and vanilla hair hdt physics mod. Very good mods that keep the skyrim vanilla aesthetics,

why lucia became bald when i installed rs children
so im having trouble with dibellas blessing, sons of nirn, fabulous followers and male npc overhaul. they were conflicting and gave me a really dark face, i moved stuff around like putting the male mods to be late loaders on vortex and now it seems to have fixed almost all the npcs, only ones im having problem with now are a handful of women, aela, njada, uthgerd, ahlam for example.
any way you coul tell me the order you loaded all these so i can fix the issue? also couldnt get hefty to work

Have you tried the botox mods? There are 2 mods one for each gender. I found them to be best for npc overhaul, unless you are running a decade old system.
What's the 2011 version of Dibella's Blessing? Some people didn't bother to buy SE and stuck with the original.
A staple mod for npc's in my game is Immersive Wenches, adds a bunch of potential followers and wenches oddly enough. There are mage wenches, warrior wenches, vampire wenches and vampire cattle wenches, but the best is merchant wenches! Once you unlock the Speech perc which allows you to sell any goods to any vendor, it makes selling your loot a bit easier, plus they'll travel so you find them on the road between cities. For those who do the marriage thing there's that potential as well, just don't marry the Barmaid wenches because they'll take over your house and you won't be able to rest/wait in your own home...just like real life! Then there's the mini-quest where you collect five captured wenches from OP bandit slavers... I recommend not starting to track them down until at least level 16-20 and don't try it without a follower, where they spawn is usually already occupied by regular bandit varieties plus you have the OP Slave-trader bandits of varying difficulty and you'll get ganked hard, and swarmed. It does make those camp locations challenging, and nearly impossible at level 1-10, you were warned!

I use Dibella's Blessing but for some reason it doesn't change Aela. She stays looking like her Vanilla form. I don't have any mods to change what she looks like either...

idk why but when i try installing dibbelas blessing for vortex it sayis dowload denied or smth . just that i didint dowload and maybe the site is expired ? why is that and does anyone know any fixes
No idea why that would be the case, but try manually downloading and drag and drop into vortex
If not, try restarting your computer. Sometimes as dumb as it sounds, this works.

I never quite liked "realism" mods, especially when it comes to the characters. In my opinion the game of Skyrim has a style (like any game) and when you start changing the style it can make immersion more difficult. Imagine a painting filled with life and color. A sprawling landscape of mountains, green hills and trees nestled in the valleys between. The problem being, each was painted by a different painter in a different style. It may look realistic at a glance, however each aspect draws attention away from the others instead of working together.
What about realistic enemies? Sure you could make the spiders more real. Possibly even use a 3d scan of a real spider to make an exact replica. But, what about giants, vampires or dragons? With no real world equivalent, how do we make a realistic model or texture?
My point being, developers usually have a style in mind when creating a world to explore. Everything from thematic colors of different regions to art for the pause menu and music to reflect on. Think about the style you want to create before adding realism mods you may come across.
