50 caliber pellets at 900 fps? Lets calculate the energy of such a shot. I see that there are some 50 caliber pellets. These are between 300-500 grains. So lets say 400 grains. Checking energy calculator at pyramid air for 50 caliber pellet shot at 900 fps gives 720 FPE. That's more powerful than most big bore air guns out there! More powerful than most firearm pistols! Other than AEA Zeus which shoot 68 caliber bullets at 1500 FPE, I don't know of any other big bore air rifle which can top 700 FPE.

So many things wrong with a couple things you've said already. First off,... it is potentially lethal in a myriad of ways, especially depending on the specific configuration, the type of ammo, or general misuse or abuse. A rubber ball from the 7.5 joule configuration, probably not lethal in most circumstances, but a devastator round, through 11 joule or higher configuration, is very much potentially lethal. It's not ideal for paint balling unless you mod it to significantly reduce it's power output. LMAO, about the laser site! The fixed site work just fine if you can aim. Mine shoots pretty much precisely where I point it, a whole lot more often than not.

so I got my paws on one of these! I'm sure it'll pack the extra punch to unleash a bit more carnage! 😂
Here in Satan's A-hole aka New York, they've banned "less than lethal" self-defense equipment,
so These, pepper-balls, etc. "Illegal to ship here". 🙄🤦‍
It's a good thing Mine is a "Paintball Marker"! There's always a way to circumvent stupid rules/regs/laws.
I think I went with like 100 of the solid rubber ball rounds for now - Still haven't tested er' out, but,
Everyone that came to the vape shop got to check it out, and Everyone loved it!
The molded holster they offer for it is killer too! Very adjustable, form fit, locks, holds a spare mag, etc.
Price:Fun-Factor, I'd say they probably can't be beat.

Absolutely not acceptable for self/home defense unless you wanna get yeeted by your attacker. Big yikes.
Be responsible and buy/build a 9mm centerfire pistol to protect yourself and your family like an adult.

@@AirgunChannel Better to have more options. As policemen usually carry less lethal weapons in addition to their pistol, lethal firearm only is not suitable for all circumstances.

For criminals to self remove themselves from the house after getting shot, then dying and bleeding all over the kitchen floor. This way there's no mess

Tu diras quoi ?
Je voulais juste me défendre ? 🤣🤣🤣

Never bring an air gun to an actual gunfight

    • @springer-qb4dv
      @springer-qb4dv 2 года назад +3

I bring both my TR50 upgraded to near lethal power as well as my 12 gauge shotgun. BTW, do you know how much power an air gun can output? Big bore air guns can output several hundred FPE easily. Yes not quite same level as an AK47 or 308, but deadly enough to easily kill. And NASA's air gun which can shoot projectile at 26,000 fps? It's the energy in the bullet that you should be concerned about, not whether the bullet was fired by a powder burner or an air gun.

So if you fired several shots from this weapon are you able to stop a predator for trying to assault you? Otherwise it's a completely useless defense mechanism.
