I love this style of video. I would watch 'commission' work all day long. It really pulls something out of Adam and you can tell he loves it. It's like he gets 'in the zone' and it's wonderful to see!
It certainly has a different air to it, compared to Adam's builds that are for his enjoyment only without any rigid deadlines. Less time for waffling around the decision-making.

To be honest: I find the roof the one thing, that doesn't work (for me at least). It doesn't look like copper at all. It might be the lighting, but I was hoping until the end he would do something to the roof that will finalize it's look.
I just posted about the same thing. Very subtle, looks like the editor was just having a little bit of fun. There was absolutely no reason to do it except to exercise a bit of skill, which is delightful.
Wow, that’s beautifully ornate. Every step in the paining process added something to it. Love your box videos, and this technically qualifies and might be my favorite yet.
I started watching your videos as a MythBusters fan and enjoyed purely for entertainment, but now I've suddenly been thrust into the professional world of SFX through a random job offer. These build videos have become an invaluable resource and I thank you so much for putting out so much helpful content. I'm just a simple shop welder thrown into a very overwhelming world of art I feel incredibly intimidated by but videos like this make it feel more doable.
I had a brain fart a few years back. I had just finished cutting several pieces, shut the saw off and dropped my thumb on the still spinning blade. Thanks to a very quick reaction and a very talented PA, I still have a thumb, no scar and only slight numbness.
Aside from the extreme low weight when it was lifted, I would never have guessed it didn't have a lot more wood and metal in its construction. I'm no stranger to the painting and weathering techniques (verdigris in particular was one of my favorite painting and weathering things I learned when I used to cosplay), but I really love how you can give an impression of a lot more mass than is actually there.
28:50 Very insightful from Adam. When watchingMarks video did think wow that's a fancy bird cage, but it was signalling something in the story so quickly moved on to associating it with the grand finale / reward. Clever stuff and it's pretty cool that he was commissioned to make this prop. Would love more videos like this!
This type of videos are the thing I love watching on this channel. I love watching an artist work, masterfully use the tools at his disposal to make something beautiful.
I was delighted to hear you made this cage. I’m sure Adam knows the excitement of seeing two of his favorites team up. Would love to hear an anecdote of his heroes collaborating during one of the Q&A sessions. Thanks guys!!
Talk to the crows, learn their calls, give them something sparkly..treats. I actually had a lovely chat with five Common Ravens back in 2022 in May and it was amazing!!!!
Adam thank you for the wonderful childhood memories that inspire me to make and build. Thank you doing RUclips and continuing to share your life and being genuine.
You have taught me many valuable things over the years. I appreciate you. Your big projects are amazing to watch. In the end tho, "Fast Adam" is my favorite. Your brain on a time crunch is amazing. This was super fun to watch.

This is so neat! Great work, and you both got together to see if you can outsmart a bird! Awesome work Adam! I love both channels, so this was an extra awesome collab treat! 👍😃

Great job Adam, the roof turned out amazing, I didn't think the masking tape was going to be left on there. Thanks for sharing how long it took, I would have been nice to see how you cut the windows and archway in the sides.
Up until the moment I saw it on Rober's set I was thinking that I would have left the brass cage rods in the archways metallic.
