@@alivingchild4695 Sw22 is what they have on the vin for Turbo US models, NA is sw21. the car generation itself is known as sw20. I believe Uk and JDM don't use the sw22 vin and have turbos as sw20

I love the widebody, I just hate the way the wheels look and how far they stick out and how close they are to the body.

Absolutely amazing car.. been in love with the TRD2000GT since i first saw one 20 years ago.. Building my own K24A Swap right now and REALLY tempted to do a kit myself.. but i gotta say those stretched tires look like complete SHIT.. you should have as wide of rubber as possible, the "StAnCeD" thing is for complete DOUCHE BAGS who know nothing at all about driving..

Plain and simple, you hit it, it breaks in to a cloud of dusts and fiberglass pieces =P
Same thing with any other fiberglass product, no matter how they advertise it.
Don't worry about durability, you won't get it.
If you want durability then get polyurethane or OEM plastic bumper, they will flex and bend and will not break.
But then again, no one makes poly TRD 2000GT kit, so we are stuck with fiberglass =)
So hard to decide which I like better the widebody look or the OG look. Tough decisions.
The widebody conversion does cost a lot of money, unfortunately.
Extreme Dimension in Fullerton has the complete TRD 2000GT kit for about $1,700 before tax and shipping.
Then you have to pay the bodyshop to fit the kit, depending on your hookup, about a grand to 3 grands.
Then the paint, about 1-4 thousands.
Then after all of those, you seriously need to have wider wheels to match the wider body.
That would cost 1-4 grand.
Yeah...LOL
For those amount, you could get a totally race-out MR2
You are correct, Extreme Dimension in Fullerton, California sells the TRD 2000GT widebody kit.
As with all replicas, they will not fit 100% correctly, the body shop needs to do some work to fit it right.
Google Extreme Dimension and you will find the website, just browse under MR2 and you'll find the TRD 2000GT kit
The widebody looks really good, but the missing spoiler and the overly stretched wheels just look bad. Stretched tires are like the equivalent of those guys that sag their pants below their ass.
TRD body kits, they don't even look rice. They look nice!

I keep watching this, wouldn't suprise me if I have viewed it almost a thousand times myself, and I have an MR2 Turbo, and am planning to go for a race-look, but everytime I watch this it makes me want to do the TRD kit.. so much moneyyyy
This is very nice looking, although I am not understanding the 2 things sticking up on the left and right side on the rear.
The wing is a regular wing without the center piece.
A drunk guy stumbled and leaned on the center piece and broke it in half

Nice car and wheel but the way theyre set up with the stretched tires is stupid. It only hurts performance. why look the part and not deliver? Fix that and itll be a nice functional car.

Until somewhat recently this was a very daily driven car.
Same, with a carbon fiber very small wing or duck tail, and straight black satin rims itd look really nice, or burnt copper rims

All mr2s at least the sw20 and sw21 are made in japan and were imported to US, at least my 1991 sw21 was manufactured in japan ;)
The fit is off on the hood and bumpers. Either not a real TRD 2000GT or it's been bumped and repaired. Either way, fire the body guy.

For me, a car is to get me from point A to point B, and looks good while doing it.
My MR2 takes me to work and back home everyday, with occasional grocery shopping, mall and car meets.
that's pretty practical to me, I must say =)
It doesn't bottom out, I have a custom coilover.
But it does rub, after all, if it doesn't rub, it's not low enough ;)
