Got myself an RB50 and the value for money is out of this world. Would've ranked it higher than what was given but I might just be biased 🤷♂️ Anyway, great list, Rival really out there killing it! (Also thanks for your vids, super informative and helping me out all the way here in Singapore)
RB50 great bag gloves just shows the Depth of Quality bag gloves Rival are offering, thanks for watching my channel and glad you are enjoying my videos-Stay Safe 🙌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼👍🏼
Make some knuckle pads out of that D3O material, and use them with some Winning gloves and you will be injury-free forever!!! Lol actually I'm not so sure if this is a good idea - the D3O material might be too firm/rough to be directly played onto the knuckles. Maybe having a single layer of Skulltec gel pad underneath a layer of D3O would be better.
One more important question in regards to overall protection (knuckle/hand/joints) with Rivals much firmer "bag gloves" vs gloves 16oz/18oz Winning or UMA/Top Boxer style gloves. I've always been told that for maximum protection to go wit 16 oz Winning style vs more firm gloves like the Rivals. How can 10 oz gloves with very hard foam + the very dense D30 pad absorb more shock and be easier on your hand than more pillow like gloves?
It’s a good question the D3o is not normal padding their is real science behind its properties - I actually mix up my bag gloves bigger 16oz for endurance and shoulder conditioning the smaller gloves on the bags less power more speed work the combination works great👊🏼👍🏼
What size rivals were you wearing at the end ? I wanted a pair of those ages ago and they were all sold out . If they are bringing them back out how do they size I normally wear 10 oz for work rate but thinking of 8 oz maybe only because I’m not worried about protection too much I’d rather a lighter glove to throw more punches and feel the bags and pads on my knuckles . I’ve got normal sized hands wouldn’t say there big are they sized for adults inside the glove ? Thanks
Fit2Box well that’s what I’m saying I’m scared now these will be all sold out like last time ! Do you know if they are making big batches of these ? Or I mite have to dive in head first and get a pair as soon as they come out , will mean not paying my council tax for that month though 🤣 I can’t let these slip through my fingers again 😬
Does the 8oz have less protection than the the 10oz? Is the padding thinner over the knuckles? Only 8oz left in stock and rival customer service don't know if and when more stock will be made. I believe csquared weighed the 10oz and it weighs closer to 12oz most likely because of the d30 added to the 10oz hdef. If this is the case i assume the 8oz weighs about 10oz.
The difference will be minimal over the knuckle area Obviously it’s whether you can still wear your Handwraps and the glove be comfortable in 8oz rather than the difference in weight
Great video thanks for the review! I bought a pair of the super slim fortress fast wraps just wondering would I be able to make them fit in a pair of Guerrero’s or is the glove to small for the fastwraps ?
Thankyou glad you liked the video- obviously I don’t know how big your hands are for me I think in the guerrero 10oz with fortress Fastwraps Super slim I think it would be snug - certainly not 8oz again depends on your hand size maybe normal handwraps would allow you more comfort in these👊🏼👍🏼
Fit2Box yeah my hands are quite big it’s just that I have pretty damaged hands the reason I went with the fastwraps.. do you rekon the 10oz would offer enough protection on the knuckles with normal wraps if I Can’t get the fastwraps to fit? Thanks again for your help!
AlPacinoSF if your hands are quite big and have damaged hands already these may not be for you maybe the Rb10 would be a better choice for you or maybe some well padded 12oz 👊🏼👍🏼
I had an issue with these gloves and returned them! Bought the Cyber edition and the P4P edition. Was waiting 6 months for these gloves to hit the US and was extremely disappointed when I put them on. The U.S. Rival store only offered these in 10oz and 12oz, which immediately I had to ask why? No idea. I got them in and put them on. The first thing I noticed was a strange indentation where the hand slips in curving your hand and palm UP. Next once your hand is all the way in, there is another indentation on top where the stitching is, sticking downwards forcing your knuckles and top of your hand to be pushed down. Your hand effectively rests in a weird contoured S-shape which is extremely uncomfortable and dangerous. You can't make a full closed fist. After trying to hit my bag at home for 3 minutes, I noticed the circulation in my wrist and hand pretty much fading and my thumb was in a lot of pain. Thinking this was a defect, I tried on the other pair and same thing! I took a lot of pictures and referenced the defects in them. I reported it to the Vegas Rival shop and they were happy to have them returned. Huge bummer because I love the D30 line and the Intelli-shock system. I currently have 3 pairs of D30 (large size since they do not come in oz's). Hopefully they can fix this and offer a larger size. (Tried with w/o wraps). I have pictures with the defects if anyone needs them. :( Come on Rival...fix it. I want these gloves.
Mate do you think Bag Gloves with 6oz make Sense. What do you really think about it. BC my First Plan was to get 10oz for BAG and pad Work. But the BAG Gloves are Just in size and the producer Said this are Like 6oz. Make IT really Sense to buy this 6oz for precision, closing Fist perfectly. I also get 10oz for pad,/mit Work. And 16oz for BAG Work heavy punches Best regarts.
@@Fit2Box The D3o Lomachenko , but I thought both only come in 8oz or 10 oz versions unlike other bag gloves that are sized accordingly ,small to xtra large.
Well the D3o is the same on the champion and no1 contender and number 2 is designed for bags all very good hence why they are my favourite bag gloves 👊🏼👍🏼

www.fit2boxchannel.com/bag-gloves-1 Please scroll down for full list I have adjusted the V4M score to reflect the unexpected price rise Yes at £179.99 and the loma edition these gloves were virtually unbeatable but the £209.99 price tag for gloves that are not LOMA limited edition but just loma colours does lower the value for money for me As they are no longer officially loma editions a fairer price would have been £159.99 not increase to £209.99
Hello Fit2box. Given the fact that the RB10 looks wider than the Guerrero Intelli-Shock. Do you think it does a better job of dispersing the force, that is coming back at you when you hit bags ?
Well they are quite different gloves These have a fight glove feel Where as the Rb10 is a bigger training glove Both are similar in dispersed force due to D3o
@@Fit2Box Thanks for the swift response. As soon as you said "obviously there's no way you could use these for sparring" , I instantly thought to myself Charlie Zelenoff would love these gloves . 😂😂😂
