I got the HDE-F model in 10 oz in the same colors you got. I’ve used them about 20 rounds so far and love them. Great wrist support and for a “converted fight glove” they offer more protection than one would think. They offer about as much as a 12 oz bag glove I would say. I pair them with my Fortress wraps for extra protection; the finger pocket fits them well. Hope they hold up!
csquaredboxing will keep that in mind, I bought the RB5s they feel really good, I then bought the old school cleto Reyes bag gloves and the inner lining ripped (both gloves) in just 6 rounds of bag work, it really disappointed me because the padding felt great the quality looked really good as well. I sent them back and just got some velcro training gloves will try them out tomorrow

Love the channel brother keep up the good work. As a beginner I was wondering what the best budget friendly bag gloves were. I would only be using them on a heavy bag and aqua bag. Maybe something under $75. Thanks for your help.
I wish they'd hire a better graphic designer for the gloves and up their build quality, I'd be a fan instantly. I love the philosophy of owner and how ergonomic the sizing and shapes are.
Not necessarily, it’s all about feel for each person, not so much about weight. Bag gloves should offer good feedback and allow you to develop proper form and strengthen your hands/ wrists/ forearms. Another type of bag glove are the overly protective type that come with v strap wrist closures, high density foam padding, gel padding etc. this is for those that want a bag glove with max shock absorption maybe due to weak hands or knuckle injuries
Had the SF since mid 2021. Two years later i have holes in both thumb areas where my thumb has now pierced through, super worn out easily. my right hand always hurt due to the flimsiness. Just bought the Guerrero intelli shock so my SF lasted me two years and looks 10 yrs old. not sure if i recommend it
Hey Carlo, your videos are one of my favourites to watch. Just curious if you had to pick between this glove or top boxers stock glove for bag work, which would you personally use? Thanks!
csquaredboxing Thanks for your reply. I just bought a pair in white/gold (HDF), I find that the RB11s weren’t that satisfying to use, hope these ones feel better to me.
Same. Love love love love my RB11s but am between a second pair of RB11 or switching it up to the HDE-F. Love the pop of the RB11s but these are apparently better for pop
Hi mate, great boxing gloves reviews! Wich boxong glove for heavy bag would you recommend? 1) Rival RFX guerrero V bag gloves HDE-F 2) Rival RFX guerrero Intelli-Shock bag gloves 3) Rival RB10 Intelli-Shock bag gloves And why? Many thanks!
Great comparison review of 2 different models of the same glove. Have you done a review on the Winning pro fight gloves yet? MS-200 8oz or MS-300 10oz? Those are excellent gloves for the bag!
How do they compare with the fight gloves, can I just buy the fight gloves instead and expect the same durability and protection on the bag and mitts with the only difference being the laces?
Hey Carlo, What bag gloves for an old guy wanting to do some heavy bag? I workout for fun and to prevent injury and keep from getting too fat 😭 I am 6' 3" 220 lbs, longer fingers, but not fat hands. You seem like such a great young man! You do this video presentation thing so well 👍
Hey Carlo, great review as always! I was looking to get a pair of the HDE-Fs but was on the edge about sizing. I’m about 5’8, 140 pounds with small wrists. Would you recommend the 8 or 10 oz model? Thanks man 🤞🏽
Hi Carlo , Thanks for the great review again . I am currently using Fairtex BGV 9 for bag and, mitts thai pads work and a pair of Rival Gurerro HDF for bag work ... I am mainly a muay thai practioner... I like both gloves , they are very different for me .... Gurerro is very protective and great wrist suppoort ... the Fairtex has lots of feedback but I found when I was hold a fist there was little room around my ring and pinky finger . I would like to have some advise from you as I am looking for a pair for all around training gloves . I will not use it for clinching . I am debating between 1. Russian Boxer 2. Infinitude 3. TopBoxer . I would like to have a pair of more balance gloves in regards of protection and feedbacks when hitting the bag What is your opinion ? Just my couristy, What gloves are there in your gym bag for your daily training ? Thanks again for the great work .
Hi Carlo in your opinion is Rival V-strap the best boxing gloves velcro strap in terms of protection for the wrist .Also does the velcro last longer other brands gloves ?
@@csquaredboxing Thanks for the reply I will check out the gloves you mentioned. With so many brands out there it's hard to figure out what is the best glove for me .

Can you say that this is the most feedback glove ? If not, what is? Under 100$. I have bulls gloves from PH and i love the feel and feedback better than my title gloves.
Neither gloves will “improve boxing skills”, just protect your hand a different way. Boxing skills improvement I would get a good coach and also work sound fundamentals
They’re the exact same as the fight gloves instead with velcro strap. Both great for hand speed and pad work, just depends on if you prefer the pop sound or more knuckle feel
@@csquaredboxing I ordered the sf-f model yesterday and I can't wait to get them in. Great review by the way, it was a major influence on my decision. I hope I made a good choice on the sff over the hdef
i liked the cleto reyes training gloves but was looking for something similar just for the bag would you say the 10oz sff version is almost like the cletos , I really like feeling where my knuckles land but feel like these might not have enough protection
Always wanted to try the Rival brand, specifically the Guerrero line, but I have to ask, is this line also made in China? Seems like a steep price for something that prolly costs them $30 to make.
Pakistan. And yeah I think a good majority of brands probably sell them for a lot more than they pay at cost for manufacturing, but that’s marketing for you.

You crazy lol the design is what attracts everybody to RIVAL! They have by far the best esthetics of all the major glove brands
Is there an advantage to using lighter bag gloves, do they have less padding

Thanks man! For bag work I’d pick these
I have both, and I greatly prefer the HDE. They're nice and crisp. The SF is a bit mushy.
For sure I agree
The hde f is like punching with some shit in your wraps. Garbage. You don’t know shit about boxing.
Can you compare hde with rb80? I'm big and punch hard, but I have wrist pain after going hard on a heavy bag. And I choosing between these two models.
I have the RB11s, is it worth the upgrade? Thanks for awesome video!
