Something I personally find really intriguing is how in "it's not even human-like, hiding your real identity", the word for human (人間) is written in katakana ( ニンゲン). My personal theory for this is that the person in question is so far off from being human, that the word is being written in katakana, as katakana is used for foreign words - being human is foreign to them. It's some really cool wordplay imo.
Actually, I'd like to think that it's just them trying to get across the words like an exclamation. Since we automatically have a CAPITALIZATION button we can get across the idea that we're "yelling" online With other languages however, they have to be more creative. Lots of ppl on here think that it’s a relationship problem or a therapist trying to help her, but honestly, I think she’s having an identity crisis where she’s trying to find who she is and what the meaning of life is. The razor in the background is showing how she thinks of herself. There are multiple people that are trying to help her but she refuses to listen to their “excuses”. In the video it keeps on saying “what do you mean with ‘precious’” people are trying to tell her that there is a meaning in life and that meaning is precious, but she keeps shutting them out.
A lot of people are saying the meaning is prostitution or self harm, but I have a different theory. She's fighting with a low-life 'idiot' on the internet. Someone making excuses, looking down on her, repeating herself over again but never getting through. She thinks she's better than him, calling him lame and thinking it's a sad waste. He continues to be toxic (still be in pain) and Miku says 'close my eyes on this pleasant chat'. After the guitar solo, Miku admits failure to get through to the idiot, actually wanting to get through to him. Final chorus is her saying no, I'm done, this emotionless sandbag is no good, referring to his cries as an overflowing song. I'unno, try listening to it like that, because that's what I got out of it.

Actually, I've always thought this was about MARETU themselves. One day they uploaded a song, people begin to complain about it because it doesn't match up to their ideals, they get into a flame war, and MARETU gives up because the posters are too narrow minded to understand what they was trying to say in the first place. I believe the major piece of evidence in this is the fact that "and it became an overflowing song" is actually an incorrect translation. The correct translation is "and it became a boring song". This could mean that, since MARETU began losing fans making songs they truly wanted with their own special meanings, they ended up making a generic catchy-tune song with no real meaning in order to make everyone happy. However, this backfires on them because people still complain that it isn't fitting their ideals, so MARETU gives up all together and decides to make their songs their way.

So she is online, chatting with an anonymous person/counselor. "Your excuses have started, they've started again." This could indicate that the person who she is chatting with is telling her why she shouldn't harm herself and she finds it useless. "What do you mean with "Precious"? The person is trying to tell her that her life is precious. "I close my eyes at the stuck clock's needle." She waiting or done waiting for the person to stop their excuses. there’s a lot of different interpretations that i find interesting, but personally i feel like this song is about a woman who continues to be in a relationship with someone who cheats on her. maretu has a theme of making songs that featured unhealthy relationships and i think this is no different from that. she’s angry and frustrated at her lover for cheating on her, but she’s equally angry at herself for expecting him to change and giving him more chances. the razor dripping blood could be symbolic for how her lover cuts into her and makes her bleed, but she allows the blood to flow and never removes the razor that hurts her...
I’m pretty sure this song is about a depressed, self-harming girl arguing with a therapist about her depression and her suicidal thoughts (hence why the background image is a bloody razor blade). Every time the therapist shoots down her arguments, she gets more and more irritated with him because she’s most likely seen many other mental health professionals in the past and they all give the same reasonings. This is probably why she calls him no-name because she’s seen so many psychologists she doesn’t even bother remembering their names anymore. Closing her eyes at the stuck clock needle and closing her ears to this pleasant chat refers to her being in a therapist’s office, waiting for the appointment to finally be over. I love how for other producers the collab with other producers for the “Human zoo of hell” is just song that’s suppose to relate and connect with “Human zoo of hell” series. My interpretation of this song is that Miku is fighting a “low life” online that has a bad opinion on self harm. Well, I believe it could be about a person who is constantly pressured by society and puts on a new face to be popular and loved causing them to harm themselves because they know that no one loves the real them. To take into thought, the lyrics "It's not even human-like, hiding your real identity" when referring to themselves as not even human anymore since all they do is hide who they really are to the world. And even "What do you mean with 'precious'?" which could be referring to the people praising her fake self. The real fact being that she can't seem to do anything right and so she puts on the face of someone precious and perfect, "I failed again just like I always do." Even when they fail it's only them who takes it through to the extreme of "killing their breathe." i know im ehhh, almost 7 years late but i think this song may be about a couple where one is very mentally unstable, and is self destructive, and their S/O (miku) doesnt fully understand whats wrong with them, or how to help them, and eventually begins to indulge in self destructive behaviour too.
I like the therapy interpretation most, but each comment had some nuances I didn't agree with, so I'm putting my own thoughts here. Edit: Interpreted the cover art later on, and I decided to lean on someone else's idea that the words shown are those commonly used by the internet, especially given words like "RT" (assuming it's "retweet"), "minority," and "pride." So now I believe it's about the singer getting frustrated over meaningless consolations from both a therapist AND internet strangers. (Although I think really the only line keeping me from completely switching over is _“I close my eyes at the stuck clock’s needle”_ ) But for simplicity, just assume that each "therapist" I use is interchangeable with "internet strangers." Anyway, onto what nuances I disagree with: First off, the "Mr. No-Name" part. It seems most people are taking this literally and interpreting it as an anonymous counselor or someone the singer can't remember the name of, but I see it as them basically calling the therapist a stranger in the deeper sense; they're believed to offer scripted platitudes and sympathy only because it's their job, so there's no real emotional connection or understanding. Same goes for internet strangers---just that instead of it being their job, they do it to feel good about themselves or because they just think it's the right thing to do. (Again, just talking in the singer's POV here. I'm aware that not all comforting comments online are ungenuine.) This also ties into the line _"It's not even human-like, hiding your real identity"_---the consoler is hiding their true feelings of indifference. I'd also like to interpret some other lines I haven't seen people touch on (might be because they're obvious atp, but I wanna get them out there anyway since I think most of ‘em really support the therapy interpretation): • _"That is, that is, that is...!"_ - Therapist repeatedly trying to reason with the singer, which they see as excuses • _"Are you trying to run away?"_ (likely a direct reply to the aforementioned line and is how the singer sees the therapist’s acts of reasoning) -> "Are you trying to dismiss me and run away from the ugliness/gravity of my thoughts?" • _"This is, this is, this is it!"_ - The numerous solutions the therapist offers, which seem to be fruitless • _"So worthless, just like you, totally lame"_ - I'm not too sure about this one, but my best guess is that the singer is calling both their life and the therapist worthless (esp. since it comes shortly after _"What do you mean with 'Precious'?"_ which is probly in response to the therapist using the good ol' "bUt lIfE iS So pReCioUs") • _"If there's no waste, it's fine, it's just sad"_ -> "It's not a wasted life if it actually brings no worth to society. But it's still sad" - It's sad to the therapist because they failed at their job, but also in general, feeling sad over taken lives can just be out of moral obligation. • _"Imagination and [fantasy / big lies]... [go ahead / thank you!]"_ - Singer sees any optimism in their life outlook as false hopes and far-off fantasies • _“Something like a small hope is soaked in tears and becomes a stain | It’s become an overflowing song”_ - Seems to be a more general statement of what pushed the creation of this song. Though the line towards the end about having “given up” implies to me that said hope was drowned in sorrow/tears. • _“It’s really a pity, you still seem in pain | Weekends, Holidays, Everyday!”_ - Therapist telling them there's still all these little things to look forward to in life---weekends, holidays, even everyday. • _“Heavy rain flood alert, now it’s a blunt feeling”_ - “Rain flood” might be referring to tears; “blunt feeling” = the feeling of emptiness afterwards and/or the pain of self-harm, dulled/blunt after having done it so many times • _“Throwing this old-fashioned body away”_ - Self-harm • _“It seems I’ve failed, as always | A well prepared speculation. Something I personally find really intriguing is how in "it's not even human-like, hiding your real identity", the word for human (人間) is written in katakana ( ニンゲン). My personal theory for this is that the person in question is so far off from being human, that the word is being written in katakana, as katakana is used for foreign words - being human is foreign to them. It's some really cool wordplay imo.

A lot of people are saying the meaning is prostitution or self harm, but I have a different theory. She's fighting with a low-life 'idiot' on the internet. Someone making excuses, looking down on her, repeating herself over again but never getting through. She thinks she's better than him, calling him lame and thinking it's a sad waste. Saying he isn't human like, and he hides his identity. 'You're making a fuzz for a completely shaken off ideal, Mr. No-Name' could be said to an anonymous user. She even refers to him as a bot. He continues to be toxic (still be in pain) and Miku says 'close my eyes on this pleasant chat'. After the guitar solo, Miku admits failure to get through to the idiot, actually wanting to get through to him. Final chorus is her saying no, I'm done, this emotionless sandbag is no good, referring to his cries as an overflowing song. I'unno, try listening to it like that, because that's what I got out of it.

Actually, I've always thought this was about MARETU themselves.
One day they uploaded a song, people begin to complain about it because it doesn't match up to their ideals, they get into a flame war, and MARETU gives up because the posters are too narrow minded to understand what they was trying to say in the first place. I believe the major piece of evidence in this is the fact that "and it became an overflowing song" is actually an incorrect translation. The correct translation is "and it became a boring song".
This could mean that, since MARETU began losing fans making songs they truly wanted with their own special meanings, they ended up making a generic catchy-tune song with no real meaning in order to make everyone happy. However, this backfires on them because people still complain that it isn't fitting their ideals, so MARETU gives up all together and decides to make their songs their way.

I’m pretty sure this song is about a depressed, self-harming girl arguing with a therapist about her depression and her suicidal thoughts (hence why the background image is a bloody razor blade). Every time the therapist shoots down her arguments, she gets more and more irritated with him because she’s most likely seen many other mental health professionals in the past and they all give the same reasonings. This is probably why she calls him no-name because she’s seen so many psychologists she doesn’t even bother remembering their names anymore. Closing her eyes at the stuck clock needle and closing her ears to this pleasant chat refers to her being in a therapist’s office, waiting for the appointment to finally be over. She probably so stuck in her self loathing and depression that she believes no one actually cares about her, including the professionals she sees, which explains the “hiding your real identity” and “your voice seems so emotionless”

I love how for other producers the collab with other producers for the “Human zoo of hell” is just song that’s suppose to relate and connect with “Human zoo of hell” series. While for Maretu, due to how well the character fits Maretu as a whole, it’s very hard to tell this is a full on series (if you exclude the name.)
My interpretation of this song is that Miku is fighting a “low life” online that has a bad opinion on self harm. I think the argument is about sh because of the picture shown during the song, Miku saying that the guy is old fashioned and is “throwing this old fashioned body away” because she sick and tired of his crap, and Miku constantly saying that he’s emotionless and un human because of this negative opinion. Well, I believe it could be about a person who is constantly pressured by society and puts on a new face to be popular and loved causing them to harm themselves because they know that no one loves the real them. To take into thought, the lyrics "It's not even human-like, hiding your real identity" when referring to themselves as not even human anymore since all they do is hide who they really are to the world. And even "What do you mean with 'precious'?" which could be referring to the people praising her fake self. The real fact being that she can't seem to do anything right and so she puts on the face of someone precious and perfect, "I failed again just like I always do." Even when they fail it's only them who takes it through to the extreme of "killing their breathe." I like the therapy interpretation most, but each comment had some nuances I didn't agree with, so I'm putting my own thoughts here.
Edit: Interpreted the cover art later on, and I decided to lean on someone else's idea that the words shown are those commonly used by the internet, especially given words like "RT" (assuming it's "retweet"), "minority," and "pride." So now I believe it's about the singer getting frustrated over meaningless consolations from both a therapist AND internet strangers. (Although I think really the only line keeping me from completely switching over is _“I close my eyes at the stuck clock’s needle”_ ) But for simplicity, just assume that each "therapist" I use is interchangeable with "internet strangers." Anyway, onto what nuances I disagree with:
First off, the "Mr. No-Name" part. It seems most people are taking this literally and interpreting it as an anonymous counselor or someone the singer can't remember the name of, but I see it as them basically calling the therapist a stranger in the deeper sense; they're believed to offer scripted platitudes and sympathy only because it's their job, so there's no real emotional connection or understanding. Same goes for internet strangers---just that instead of it being their job, they do it to feel good about themselves or because they just think it's the right thing to do. (Again, just talking in the singer's POV here. I'm aware that not all comforting comments online are ungenuine.) This also ties into the line _"It's not even human-like, hiding your real identity"_---the consoler is hiding their true feelings of indifference.
I'd also like to interpret some other lines I haven't seen people touch on (might be because they're obvious atp, but I wanna get them out there anyway since I think most of ‘em really support the therapy interpretation):
• _"That is, that is, that is...!"_ - Therapist repeatedly trying to reason with the singer, which they see as excuses
• _"Are you trying to run away?"_ (likely a direct reply to the aforementioned line and is how the singer sees the therapist’s acts of reasoning) -> "Are you trying to dismiss me and run away from the ugliness/gravity of my thoughts?"
• _"This is, this is, this is it!"_ - The numerous solutions the therapist offers, which seem to be fruitless
• _"So worthless, just like you, totally lame"_ - I'm not too sure about this one, but my best guess is that the singer is calling both their life and the therapist worthless (esp. since it comes shortly after _"What do you mean with 'Precious'?"_ which is probly in response to the therapist using the good ol' "bUt lIfE iS So pReCioUs")
• _"If there's no waste, it's fine, it's just sad"_ -> "It's not a wasted life if it actually brings no worth to society. But it's still sad" - It's sad to the therapist because they failed at their job, but also in general, feeling sad over taken lives can just be out of moral obligation.
• _"Imagination and [fantasy / big lies]... [go ahead / thank you!]"_ - Singer sees any optimism in their life outlook as false hopes and far-off fantasies
• _“Something like a small hope is soaked in tears and becomes a stain | It’s become an overflowing song”_ - Seems to be a more general statement of what pushed the creation of this song. Though the line towards the end about having “given up” implies to me that said hope was drowned in sorrow/tears.
• _“It’s really a pity, you still seem in pain | Weekends, Holidays, Everyday!”_ - Therapist telling them there's still all these little things to look forward to in life---weekends, holidays, even everyday.
• _“Heavy rain flood alert, now it’s a blunt feeling”_ - “Rain flood” might be referring to tears; “blunt feeling” = the feeling of emptiness afterwards and/or the pain of self-harm, dulled/blunt after having done it so many times
• _“Throwing this old-fashioned body away”_ - Self-harm
• _“It seems I’ve failed, as always | A well prepared speculation. Immediately destroyed! … it’s still the same”_ - Another potential solution/speculation bearing no results---no mental improvement---and seen as a failure on their part (whether through the singer’s POV or the therapist’s assumed POV)
• _“I just want to become honest … but even so | It’s not even human-like, I kill my breath | [repeat of chorus]”_ - The singer isn’t being completely transparent with their therapist, likely due to that feeling of not having any real emotional connection
• _“I’ve given up at this point, goodbye future and tomorrow”_ - They feel they’ve ran out of options/solutions to their depression and have given up on life
• And finally, the title itself: “Brain Revolution Girl” - “brain” = mental, “revolution” = feeling of going in circles (perhaps in regard to going through therapist after therapist to no avail), of being stuck in a loop going through the same empty lines of comfort and solace, the same fruitless suggestions, and the same feelings of despair she can’t escape from.
