This is interesting and I have a question for you. My instagram engagement has declined. I am a retailer and I often tag a product in a post. Does tagging affect the algorythm?

Great question. Tagging does not affect the algorithm. For ecommerce businesses, think about how you can showcase some before and after user reactions/reviews for your product that will help to provide the social proof you need to convert more viewers into buyers.
