So awesome to see you grow as you inspired my channel and now I’m only 44 subscribers away from 1K seeing you build your own stuff for your car now it’s so amazing nothing but love bro!
Bro congratulations! The first 1k subscribers is the toughest part I promise you! I’m happy you found inspiration the same way I did when I first started, fall in the love with the craft of making videos and trying to help the community and you’ll see the results for yourself! There will be obstacles along the way but that’s the fun in it! Hope this all helps, best of luck brotha ❤️
This was a great idea for a cold air intake in 3.5 inch very well done. I’m in the process of making a custom 4 inch carbon fiber intake for my DE but it will be bolted on to my Holley hi ram intake manifold with a 90mm throttle body. It cost quite a bit the route I’m going but it will push the DE over 300 wheel without cams and other supporting mods exhaust pulleys ported lower injectors etc. really great idea you come up with on that 3.5 inch intake
Keep up the great content! Just got myself a 04 coupe and I’ve loved watching your videos! Helps me learn since I’m not too mechanically inclined. Great honest videos!
i know you havent posted in a month but i wanted to let you know i got my shirt and i love it, my only thing is, for the next run of shirts have the decal be a little softer, i get it youre still a smaller channel and this is your first merch so im just giving you advice. again, still love the shirt and will still support obviously
You got it! i wanted the shirts to be very detailed and in turn by doing that the print had to be vinyl which is a bit thicker and has a different texture than what we’re all use to! I plan on improving for the next drops so I appreciate the feedback bro! ❤️
Of course bro! One thing you will notice is it won’t crack with a couple washes in comparison to screen printed shirts! The way it looks will stay for a very long time!
Hi Joe quick question, (I feel like saying Ask Joe a question lol) the 3.5 custom maf pipe you made. Is there a way to provide dimensions if possible. I was about to purchase the Injen intake and seen this video. I appreciate all your work you do for the VQ platform.
Can you make a video showing what the fuel trims should be for short term and long term with the intake you installed? Curious if it affects running lean or rich.
Did the 45° pipe through the bumper fit between the bumper and the crash bar without having to modify the crash bar? I know most aftermarket intakes (specifically for HR) you need to cut your crash bar to fit the intake
can u list all the parts and cost of this I have 70 dollars to spend rn and my intake just blew off so i cant drive it till i have a new one. I have a 06 350z rev up
There’s a product that’s like a little sock over the air filter, and what it does is repel water so if you’re worried about rain, that can help give a bit of ease. But if you go over puddles with a good bit of water, I would be careful since the sock can only do so much!
@@JoeVazquez Found the website❕ Thanks Joe. I assumed you bought the intake complete, I was unaware you pieced it together. I’m sure a lot of us would appreciate a follow up video of you discussing every single part you will need to make this Frankenstein intake work. Part links would help so much. I want to replicate your intake set up🔥
Currently have a g35 and a 3.5 intake sounds like a good idea but i’m just not ready for the tune (want headers and a better exhaust) what’s the cost of building this intake ?
Wait so what was the part you mentioned you said you need in order for it to run good ? When I bought the car It came with it full intake tube and ran good the guy I purchased it from said not to mess with it cause it was sensitive and took awhile to make it work and if I mess with it may not run smooth.... I had to change my valve cover gaskets and ever since then my car doesn’t feel the same wondering if that’s ThAts my issue ! My car feels sluggish I’ve tried to clean throttle maf did the relearn still feels sluggish
From experience, cleaning these Nissan mafs messes them up. I’d recommend getting a new maf sensor hitachi brand! And also the part is the oem maf housing!
I don’t recommend doing this easy way to blow any engine up especially if u live in PA where its always raining and dirt all over and pot wholes you will blow your engine sucking water up and dirt up
You obviously have to do your due diligence but here in Cali, that’s not an issue and k&n filter is washable so you can wash it every once in a while and you’re good
@@JoeVazquez yeah Pennsylvania is wack with all the rain and dirt all over and pebbles but understandable , im getting a g35 coupe 03 with 120k what do u recommend to do first can i get your insta to show u how it looks (doesnt look the best color wise buh ill change it up eventually )
Did you watch the whole video? I said I’m keeping it like that meanwhile, that way I can keep driving the car (daily) and also drive it to the dyno, THEN I’m swapping the 3 with the 3.5 maf housing so I can get tuned like that.
thank you guys for watching!
go ahead and check out the G35 shirt i made!!

Right before you tune the ride you should do some runs with a stock 04 G35. Would be really great to see exactly how it goes.

Love the videos! I'm modding my 06 350z RevUp on a budget and you've helped a lot.
No problem man! You got it 💪
Heck yea Joe with another vid 🤙🏽🤙🏽 can’t wait to see your tune !!
The tune is long overdue haha
Dope videos bro. Should also definitely get the middle plenum and lower intake runners ported as well 🔥
I was thinking about doing that aswell!
cam here from the video of u racing the 2020 civic, glad to find some g35 content
Thank you bro!!
I just did my cold air intake and this video helped me out big time keep them coming thank you so much

Were did you get all you piping from
Late but where did you get that adapter that connects to the mass air flow housing, would appreciate the reply and good vids man keep it up👌
Keep up the videos man👏🏽👏🏽🫡
You got it! 🙏
Awesome. What did you do for the pcv on the intake?
Where’d you get the piping?
Do a DIY for a vented hood on your stock hood throw some mesh into it and get that heat out!
I kinda have an idea for that that’ll look a little more oem!
Donde puedo comprar la tuberia 3.5mm para nissan 350z????

Hello can you send me links to all the mods for the cold air intake please. I have a 2003 350GT I'm from Australia.
What angle is the pipes leading into the bumper ?
I want to get one and the throttle body maybe the platinum spacer after
You will not regret it! If I could only pick one I’d most likely do plenum spacer but it’s real close between that or the 3.5 intake!
Can you make a video showing what the fuel trims should be for short term and long term with the intake you installed? Curious if it affects running lean or rich.
did you have to take off the wheel well?
Nice mod! I"m just too lazy to have uninstall that filter in lower bumper area and have to wash it when it gets dirty.
Haha I feel you 😭
Did the 45° pipe through the bumper fit between the bumper and the crash bar without having to modify the crash bar? I know most aftermarket intakes (specifically for HR) you need to cut your crash bar to fit the intake
Hey Joe where did you get the piping from? I would like to do this to my 06.
It was a website called ace race parts!
@@JoeVazquez thanks brother!

bro I'm going crazy for what to buy to start the 3.5 intake with! what is the pipe or tube you use from the throttle body onto the intake?
What do you think about making it to fit in front of your grill like a VHR aftermarket intake on your G35?
That would be awesome but unfortunately the ac lines are in the way! I was about to do that until I realized it wouldn’t be possible!
Are you still running the oem clutch and flywheel?
Yes!
How’s the max speeding rods test pipes holding up? Would you recommend those test pipes for fbo?
Still working great! I would if you’re not particularly picky about sound, they are pretty raspy!
Where did you get the maf housing ?
It’s the housing that comes with your car but you can buy one from Rockauto, or just about any auto parts store near you!
The 3.5 inch maf housing?
I made it!
I might sound dumb, but is this safe for your engine to drive with the intake in the rain?
There’s a product that’s like a little sock over the air filter, and what it does is repel water so if you’re worried about rain, that can help give a bit of ease. But if you go over puddles with a good bit of water, I would be careful since the sock can only do so much!
