The hardest part about replacing spark plugs is not the "replacement", the hardest part is getting to the bloody damn spark plugs! This is great, now I know how to gain access sir. Fantastic video sir.
Thanks for the video! A local shop wanted to charge me $650.00 for this. Please.... While I dont normally work in my G35--Im about the start with replacing these plugs. Very well done video RB! Kudos... ;)
While doing spark plugs it’s also good to inspect the cylinders with a borescope if you have one, compression test and inspect the harness as well as the coils for damage. Don’t forget the dielectric grease around the sides of the spark plug before putting the coils back on. Use a rubber hose to lower the spark plug into the hole, don’t drop them in there.
Thanks alot for this video man really helpful very informative on everything on what you did so we can all learn how to do it and don't trugle. Thanks alot
Looks very helpful video. I am having problem of shaking my car. It is Nissan skyline 2007 v35. I think its a problem of ignition coil. Can I clean them and put them back? How difficult to do that by my self. What is the best chemical to clean them.thank you.
I came to this video since I was having trouble moving stuff outta the way on the passenger side. Already completed the driver side. And homeslice only shows the driver side SMH
... all the snap on tools but no spark plug socket and not checking the gap before installing the plug? What in the hell? Shit you can grab some rubber hose and shove it into your socket to retain the spark plug. Rubber vacuum lines are great for hard to reach spark plugs to get them started. But I don't care what yall say pre gapped plugs aren't always gapped right always check.
My socket is old and missing the piece I the center that grabs the plugs if ur socket is new it should pull out the spark plug also u can use the coil to grab out the plug
I think my cats on my g35 messed my spark plugs up in my car cause I put it on my code reader it was throwing a misfire on it saying that it wasn’t working right so tomorrow ima cut the cats out and see how it acts cause it’s sounds really ruff or my cats done made my car coil pack go bad

My pleasure!
Good video bro, I always put a little anti-seize on the spark-plug threads so they come off easily next time.
Yup that’s good idea
Thank you for da video it help me out a lot, I was having trouble for bout an hour, and I’m in TX so it’s hot like crazy, Thank you again

U have to get the code to charge out the coil
Good stuff buddy 👍🏼. Appreciate the vid
Thank you!!
Do you have to disconnect the battery before doing the work ???
I did not and NO just key off
What type of deep well sockets are you using ? I can't find any skinny enough to fit in the well to get the spark plugs out .
It’s spark plug socket u can find it at auto part store
i have a misfire i believe. when i accelerate my cars sputters. especially when i try to floor it. you think spark plugs are the issue ??
Well not sure if I haven’t done ur tune up it’s time anways did u scan the car for codes
Thanks Brotha!! Very helpful!
Welcome!!!
Very helpful thank you! 🙏🏽
I thought there were 6 spark plugs ? Or did you just do 3 for an example
3 for example and other 3 are same process
Can I ask you some questions about my car ?
Sure ask me
Real helpful

Good video. thanks
Spark plugs need calibration no just checking have a gap
lol gap!!

If you order them from China pre gapped then yes, definitely recheck the gap settings.. good call..
What can I use if I don't have a magnet ?
My socket is old and missing the piece I the center that grabs the plugs if ur socket is new it should pull out the spark plug also u can use the coil to grab out the plug
No anti-seize compound for sparkplugs?
No I never had any problem and I never see any signs of it on original plug pulled out
some spark plugs, such as the double iridium ones i bought, say on the back not to use anti seize, just dielectric grease

Cover gasket with spark plug bore gromets clean out the oil and then see what’s in there that wouldn’t let u put socket on
