I have great respect for speedrunners like you. TBH I haven't even beaten this game yet( I was stuck at world 8-4 and then I quitted) and you can beat it in less than an hour

Hey Darbian,Big Fan! What time do you usually stream? I've been watching your YT vids for a while but wanna check out a live stream some time soon.
I work full time during the day so on weekdays if I stream it will usually be between 8PM and midnight EST. On weekends my availability varies so I could potentially stream any time. Sorry I don't have a specific schedule for days/times where I'm guaranteed to stream.
darb brosef you should do this fulltime. open a patron page, dudes will donate and kick ass and chew bubblegum but always just by accident be out of gum!

Can someone explain the glitch he did with the save menu? I understand what he did, but why did it happen?
He warped to C-1, then went back to the start menu. Since he was on C-1, the game thought his last level cleared was B-4. So the game kicked him back there, and he used a warp pipe to get to D-1.
Ah, thanks! I figured it was some sort of wrong warp, but I didn't quite understand how it happened. Thanks!
+Andrew Blechinger That isn't true. Darbian manually changed the save data from Cw-1 to Bw-4 in the Super Mario Allstars menu. This caused him to start in world B-4.

Dionys84 if you don't kill him there's a cutscene where he falls off the bridge which takes longer than killing him

Why does it matter how many coins you have?
if the last digit of coin count matches the last digit of the in-game timer you get fireworks which are slow

If I remember correctly, Luigi controls differently than Mario in this game. I wonder if this game has Luigi speed running categories as well?
The game does. This is the any% D-4 Mario Super Mario Bros. 2 FDS speedrun. There is an any% D-4 Luigi category in the existence for Super Mario Bros. 2 FDS.

No jellyfish in this game. You may be thinking about the Bloopers (the squids), which have wonky hitboxes.

Why do yo do a backwards jump into the flagpole
it makes Mario instantly go into thee back of the pole immediately it save a framerule
Not hard and fast always 1 Framerule, but it is faster in most places
