The Faterpillar cometh.
The Drake Ironchad
Now this ship has my attention!
I like the Liberator as well as the Ironclad, they are both very good ships, similar, but not the same goals.
With Pyro on it's way and more systems coming, a ship like the Ironclad is almost a must have for a Firefly/Serenity nomadic style of play. Having a very flexible jack of most trades, depending on what you put inside the 1500 SCU hold is great. Whether it be a fighter for bounties, a ROC/Prospector/Vulcher, a C8R/Nursa or any combination. Myself, I want to do the long haul cargo runs and while doing that, explore opportunities to discover derelicts, rescue others, scan for resources etc. The Ironclad has extreme long range, 4 large shields and armored. I really hope CIG goes the rout of individual bunk rooms like the Corsair. The Ironclad could also be a mobile central hub for a land base, that can be moved from one resource rich environment to another. I feel that I will be able to pick up almost any mission in my journeys through the Deep dark of the verse.
It's kind of amazing how much like a cargo ship this thing is in terms of layout. Very well thought out - looking at logical real world influences.
The Ironclad Assault looks sweet. I never see myself owning such a large ship... but I did grab an M2 to IA CCU for $5 just to be safe.
Landed it looks like an outpost. Really loving the design as well.
I find it interesting, I like cargo gameplay. Not sure if I want this in my hanger . But i definatly wanna touch it 😊
Drake "Not the Liberator" Ironclad
Might have to look at buying these....Really looking forward to seeing it!
Now its just a question of which Ironclad to buy (maybe both 😊)
yeah how could you decide damn :D. And what with the Liberator. I think the Liberator might be bigger? But not sure. Or more long range? The Cargo version seems to have only 1 turret?
Pulse fits in a sentinel, now that’s a great combo!!! But this drake ship is so sick…. 😮
I'm excited for the Ironclad :)
i absolutely cant wait for this ship
To me, this will be a mobile outpost if you’re gonna spend any amount of time on a planet it makes sense to drop one of these plant side and operate it out of there. If you need to go to another part of the planet just load it up and take everything there.
I'll get a Megapillar to put the Nursa and Crucible repair bay in its cargo hold.
It looks amazing... but it looks like ship pirates are looking to eat up. I can't wait to see one in the game. Also, this ship will test the Kraken materials so Kraken next after Faterpillar?
you can fit 5 nova tanks theres one in the back getting repaired.
I said the new drake ship would be a bigger cat, and i am soooo happy to be right
I was thinking a big fat barge too
I think this ship is definitely coming after 1.0.
nice video!
Your getting excited for a ship that we won't' see for 10 years and if we do then other ships will be back logged even further like the BMM that is already 10 years late, there are like 20 ships that have been sold over the years that have not been touched and around 165 that need their gold standard pass, then there are the major reworks that are needed like the Caterpillar, Starfarer and Reclaimer....They are losing skilled employees due to burnout and are adding even more ships to the backlog this should worry people.
I wonder how it compares to the liberator.
Ultimate ship
i like it!
Meh, another concept to pile on to the countless ones they already have.... so many ships are being sold that they wont work on for years. This will either go ahead of ships already sold years ago, or itll take forever. Either way, its a negative.
Waaaaahhhhhh
