So happy to hear about the mini freight elevator for ballistic weapons, this gives a reason for more multicrew gameplay - especially for mechanic/engineer crew members... Imho it also would be a deterrent for fighter pilots to engage hammerheads and large ships fully geared with ballistics

So if you look, there is a camera on that "mirror" and it's actually a monitor. It's also reversed. Door is on the opposite side and when you turn right your head in the "mirror" turns the opposite direction. It's not a true mirror.

This was intense. Should be some good fights with turrets with pips that work for targeting. Glad to see the PDCs working.

Does the polaris have no radar?

Would be interesting to have a capital ship more apt to be a mothership. Not really suited for combat but just to bring different things with you in the verse.

I struggle to call this meaningful PvP. This is wasting everyone's time who is involved. You were outnumbered and it was still a stalemate. They could have been doing literally anything else that entire time. I have no doubt that it feels good to survive that. It's a testament to your personal skill as a pilot and micro-manager, but you still got nothing out of it.

Good fight! You did a great job rotating shields. Just for the record we weren't trying to ram you, we kept trying to get close to point blank dumbfire torpedos. We also learned that the polaris can't be moving when you launch fighters, lol. It was fun times.

I shudder to think about the repair and rearm bill of the Polaris that survived such long odds.

The PTU Idris mission was also bugged, didn’t see an Idris, and we had NPC light fighters that were desyncing, plus an invulnerable Freelancer. I was also on a fully manned Polaris - it needs fighter support (we had an F8C) as the weapons arc and targeting was jittery, though that was likely the PTU server’s issue.

fighter escort is a must, take 3 Gladiators and 2 hurricane's, ooor when the time comes, bring 2 Perseus, also your turrets should all be in precision mode and targeting their sup systems

You could have just focused fire on the mantis and ran for it.

Send an active Ping when trying to find a low signature ship like the Mantis. If they're close enough the Ping should light them up on the Radar real fast(you were in the Co-Pilot seat and no Radar though). Also use Alt+1, 2, & 3 to Pin Targets once you find them. Then pressing 1, 2, or 3 to Select/Unselect them as needed. Makes finding them again a breeze. Personally I have a 2nd VKB SEM Module for target management.

I was on the Wildcard Polaris in one of the turrets. Great job rotating shield faces. Y'all put up a great fight with the odds against you and your crew. Props to you and your crew. Awesome video of your perspective. Have your gunners lead their shots and walk them onto the ship. Without pips to shoot accurately they're gonna have to fight WWII style. Overall great video and a good fight. See you in the verse o7
