How traditional are you in your Thanksgiving Prep?
I live in germany- we do not celebrate- i think this is an american thing?
If I lived in the US i would make a big duck- it looks so yummi!
.. it really looks soooo good- i will make those mushrooms and chicken maybe - without thanksgiving- reson :)
Sonia where do your recipes come from, are they family recipes or your creations?? Or do u search online? I wish I was creative like that I’m always jealous when people don’t need recipes to cook lol happy thanksgiving v!
We need u to do a cookbook, ever thought about that??
@@anjahorn yes I think we all forget it’s an American thing, it’s actually our biggest holiday along with Christmas! Do U have a German holiday like this?
@@sarabanas1447 No.
There is non like this i think.
@@BS-pd9hk because cooking straight in aluminum isn’t healthy so we place parchment paper
We are un- traditional as well, each family member picks their favorite dish and we have them all for Thanksgiving. Sometimes it gets weird but everyone is always "thankful".
That's the most important part
I will never again struggle to peel a butternut squash before cooking. Thank you!
Glad I can help lol
I have always been traditional as were my parents and their siblings! Turkey for Thanksgiving and Ham for Christmas! Each family have their own traditional foods that we have each holiday! You recipes look wonderful! That is the maqic of the USA. We are a mixture of many different cultures!
Always love blue and white, especially with gold. The Royal Albert always perfect. Great video, even a year later.😊
Love watching you! When I told my Mother I was engaged her first words were I am never cooking another Turkey again! I have been doing the Turkey for the last 37 years!😂😂😂😂 Your mushroom recipe is definitely going to appear on our table!
Love that!
Watching fron Jerusalem and enjoing every video! Thank you so much
Awesome! 😃 Can’t wait to watch!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Спасибо Вам большое,Соня, за идеи и рецепты! Всё выглядит аппетитно и красиво! Happy thanksgiving!!!🍁🦃🍽
When i was young, my mom was stuffing duck with apples and onions . This was very special meal for our filamily in Poland.
Scrumptious!!! Just delicious!!!
Everything looks so wonderful! I am obsessed with the shape of your bread :)) I love the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, my husband and nice and nephew do not, so I make with the Turkey a small ham and lasagna with the same sides. I make the ham in the crockpot and the lasagna the day before so i still have my oven free
Reminder on. I really look forward to the Thanksgiving holiday each year since it is a time for me to eat a variety of foods and spend time with family and to be thankful for what I have. I cannot wait Sonya to see how you do your Thanksgiving prep. This looks like this is going to be an fun and exciting video! Many blessings to you and thank you so much for your wonderful content Sonya!
Elina, you did such an amazing job! You are officially a Sonya's Preppie! lol
Haha thanks 🙏 it was fun working together!
That bread is gorgeous! A work of art!
It was great seeing the beautiful table setting ideas your friend showed us. Gave me some ideas.
Take care! ❤️
Loved the Collab with Elina!! Everything looks beautiful, creative, and delicious!
Can’t get enough of your content Sonya. Love love love from Saudi Arabia 🧡
So happy thank you
Sonya, the bread is beautiful and I love how you tied it. I would want mine to look that way every time. :)
Tfs Great food and recipes and pretty table too. Happy thanksgiving to you and your family ! 🍁🍁🍁
We do a turkey if it’s my husband’s family we’re celebrating with. If it’s my side it’s a turkey, a ham, and tamales. We’ve only done just our immediate family once but doing something else sounds fun and tasty!
Sonya is the best! I’m so impressed with her habilites!
Thank you, Sonja!!!!! I love to watch and will try it!!!!
That bread is too beautiful to slice!! You did an amazing job as usual with the food presentation.
That looks fantastic!! You are the fastest gourmet cook I have seen in a long time!!! Thank you for the great ideas and recipes. Loved seeing your friend and her beautiful table top!!! Amazing!!!
Everything looks amazing and so mouth watering
Everything looks amazing! I just want to thank you for your videos, they’ve really helped elevate my table and have taught me to be more creative in the kitchen! 💗 happy thanksgiving!
I am pretty traditional, but Thanksgiving means the gathering together of family and friends. I think whatever the menu your family likes is great.
Agree
Wow I always love your videos. So cozy to watch this on a cold evening. And I must say I really enjoyed the segment about table settings.
That was the prettiest bread I’ve ever seen.
Tysm
It all looks so delicious.
Sonya you make cooking look easy and actually enjoyable. Thank you for sharing. Blessings on your beautiful family 😊
I love all your dishes 👏🏻
Thank you so much! You are the best!!!
I love Duck.
We are untraditional. Only two of us now so we bake cornish hens with stuffing homemade.
I think the beauty of Thanksgiving is to cook what is best for your family whatever size it is.
Make it special no matter what your cooking. Being thankful for what & who is with you no matter how big or small your family maybe. 🥰
Sonya. You are my absolute favorite! Always in awe of your delicious looking recipes and the ease in which you prepare them. Thank you for sharing your blessed life with us ❣️

FANTASTIC JOB! I'm doing the Hasselback potatoes, thank you for inspiring me! Hope your Thanksgiving dinner was delicious!! Much love to your family and your newest child!
I enjoy your motivational videos so much!
Sonya, you are an inspiration to me every time I watch your videos. We don't do Thanksgiving as I am from South Africa but have enjoyed it when I was in the States.
Last year for the first time, we changed our menu and my husband prepared FILET Mignon, and a capon. Delicious! He is the BEST COOK! Never Turkey again!
The MOST BEAUTIFUL bread Ever

Thank you Sonya....for the wonderful ideas and recipes. Next week you will have a lot of work on Thursday Thanksgiving and on friday night the Shabat dinner. My respect to you in organizing and preparing this wonderful meals with so much care. In regards to the turkey. In this modern age. What ever works for your family is what matters. The turkey is a suggestion but not a requirement. I like the duck recipe and will do it soon. Tentatively will do cornish hens on Thursday for Thanksgiving as its only my father and my self celebrating the ocassion. Your family is very fortunate to have such wonderful and loving recipes. Thanks again for the great ideas.
Everything is gorgeous. I like your serving dishes too.

Please pray for me! I’m struggling to provide for my two autistic children since losing my job over not getting the vaccine. I have pre existing health condition (Lupus) My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more difficult for me. I don’t know how we are going to make it through this winter. I’m still waiting on the state for assistance. I’m so embarrassed of my situation.
BUT NO MATTER WHAT I have Faith that God will PROVIDE! Praying we make it through the holidays.
Praying for you.
Sending you and your family my prayers 🙌❤️
Lifting you and your family in prayer
If you’re in the USA you can apply for emergency food stamps and also many churches have food pantries open to help families in your circumstances. I volunteer for one near me and we provide turkeys and several bags of groceries to each family. Please visit your local social service office. Also, you should be entitled to monthly financial benefits due to your children’s diagnosis. Best wishes to you and your family.
I am praying for you and your family. Please, let others help you.
As usual beautiful cooking and dishes looks yummy 😋. you're outstanding.

We are vegan so for Thanksgiving we go for the Gardein holiday roast with gravy and it's delicious! Your cranberry apple dessert looks delicious! Thank you for sharing. Your personality is lovely and so welcoming. I love the way you express your love to your family 💜
I’m not vegan but all the gradein stuff I’ve tried so far is delish! Does the roast come with it’s own gravy or do you make your own?
@@CMBauer it comes with its own gravy pouch and it compliments it perfectly

Wow Sonya I wanna try making every single one of these recipes, it all looks so delicious! My family makes both turkey and duck every year as the adults love duck and the youngsters love turkey. Thank you for sharing your menu! 🙏
My pleasure
Oh I'm late lol. What a beautiful table setting and great planning ideas. Happy Thanksgiving Sonya and family!
Thank you! You too!
Hi, Sonya!! Wow I línea all the recipies. Thank you.... Shalom Ubrajot for you and your family.
Amen
Bravoooo
Capon is a very good option for Thanks giving. It's not as big as a turkey but not so dry either ( then again, it's how long you cook and season it).
There's nothing she can't cook! ♡
I have that same tablecloth in that color but also in pink they are great.
Love your channel
Never ever apologize for not doing turkey. Your traditions are your own
Oh Sonya! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family too. The food looked amazing, as usual. The bread trick was wonderful and so pretty. I have my bread rising in the refrigerator right now and will bake it tomorrow. I am using your recipe and I must tell you, I have NEVER had a sourdough recipe work as well as yours did. Granted, it was a pain in the butt, but the sourdough is more bubbly and healthy than any I have ever seen, or made. We are looking forward to the bread tomorrow. You have really taught me a lot. I still haven’t gotten over the graham cracker crust with the pecan pie, and how well that went together. I must confess I have never made a duck. Yours looked so terrific that I wanted to grab some through the screen. And….no. You can eat whatever makes you family happy on Thanksgiving. It is a celebration meal and who wants food in a celebration that you don’t care for? We are going out this year for Thanksgiving. It is not a usual thing, but the 6 of us are going to see if it is more fun than staying home. I am excited to have a Thanksgiving off. I may even have a glass of wine! Thank you for your recipes. We love them.
Love your sweet message. It makes me so happy that you are enjoying the recipes. It’s so nice that you are treating yourself this Thanksgiving. Hope you have an amazing time!
loved the video
Thank you Ophira

I was bored after so many years of the same Thanksgiving menu, and your video inspired me to make your roasted mushrooms, corn, and hasselback potato recipes. They came out great and everyone loved them! Thank you for the inspiration.

That mages me so happy.
