      America stands tall proud and strong more for a dead marine than you do for black lives and the many unarmed black lives that have died unnecessarily at the hands of white law enforcement officers, so stop the lies, because it isn't true.

      @@kysfinest ok let me just clear things up. This is a fallen Marine and it doesn't matter their color, they still should be honored. As far as Black Lives Matter I agree that to many black lives are being taken. But you shouldn't shit on someone who died for us. They didn't go to fight for us based on the color of our skin this Marine died for everyone at least pay them some respect.

    I served 21 years in the Marines w / 3 years in combat beginning in Vietnam 1969. I lost count of the dead and wounded Marines I put on Medivac helicopters and with each one I thought what it was going to do to their family and friends. I thought when I returned home, that the memories and emotions would fade way over time. They don't.
    ... And if the Army or the Navy every gaze on Heaven's scene
    They will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines...

    I have driven more than a dozen funeral coaches in the process of doing dignified transfers. This is always an honor, since I am a retired USAF veteran. The respect for the deceased active duty soldier, sailor, airman or marine is something that I see far too often. It will never cease as long as we have a fighting force, but we need to remember, someone else went, so you wouldn't have to.

He was a firefighter so fire trucks escorted, police, military, cars and so many people. The line of people was over 5 miles long. So very touching.

    I'm guessing the man that walked to the front of the plane that they were applauding was a fellow soldier. It's so nice that they did that and how they stayed seated and quiet to show this awesome Marine the respect he so very well earned and deserved in dying for his country. We are still free thanks to our veterans protecting us every day,give them the gratitude they deserve.

    • @mandycheatham6963
      @mandycheatham6963 3 года назад +1

      All fallen soldiers get an escort back home and everyone else on the plane is asked to remain seated until the escort departs and our fallen hero’s casket is removed by the other fellow soldiers who are there awaiting their arrival. They are then given a hero’s escort by police, etc that is usually quite large. In most places the citizens line the streets through town and wave flags, remove their hats, salute, etc as the procession passes by. In Texas at least, there’s a big biker group that travels around to escort fallen hero’s to their resting place and if people are driving and see the procession they’ll pull over and stand beside their cars to show their respect.

    • @danmilosevich
      @danmilosevich 3 года назад

      That was the escort as mentioned. He is with the body from basically start of the trip home to the burial. He is never far from the fallen. It is a honorable assignment but would be very tough to perform.

To the point where I couldn’t take it anymore and then I hit rte 93 north off of rte 128 end it was at a complete standstill… I drove over on the grass breaking the law as I had seen so many people pulled over up on the highway and had no idea what was going on… just before she was passing by and the people, all of the people, all of the Americans that stopped pulled over, hats off, Hands over hearts, full attention salutes, and nothing but love and respect. I'm actually surprised that they let the passengers get their stuff. Usually the pilot makes a request that everyone remain seated until the coffin has been removed from the plane, just out of respect.

    the Marine walking down the aisle of the plane is probably the deceased Marine's escort. All military personnel shipped home are provided escorts.

    Waite, so they do that for every marine who died on combat? If so, only one per plane or more

    Sorry it might sound stupid but what do they mean by “fallen marine”?

    • @stymiedagain
      @stymiedagain 4 года назад

      “Fallen” is just another way of saying “Killed”. It’s usually used with military deaths, rather than civilians. If someone dies in a car accident, they would not be described as “having fallen”.

    There would never again be a reason for our brothers and sisters in Arms to have to ever have to line up shoulder to shoulder like this..If we finally had leadership at the helm that did something different.

    I don't have family and friends in the military...so I don't know what are the procedures for bringing back a fallen soldier...but is it quite common to bring him/her on a major airline? Is it possible to hire a private jet? I'm guessing it's more expensive...I guess I ask because I would be extremely sad and would want privacy when seeing my loved one return home. 😭

    • @danmilosevich
      @danmilosevich 3 года назад

      They are returned the quickest way possible which is usually scheduled airlines. There is a charter company, Kalitta Charters who has the exclusive contract to bring them home as well which will usually be into a smaller commuter type airfield. The military gets them home as close as possible. Rather quickly once the clear mortuary affairs.
