I really love when grey said last year that he raise the goats are not for meat , I’m so glad and feel the goats are so lucky to have human parent love them , what a great couple , I always admire them with all of their hard working couple , there are a bright path to success ❤❤
That is one determined goat. He wouldn’t give up on getting through the fence.
I think the goats really appreciate the new house you are building for them. Can't wait to see them on top of the freezer!
When you post your videos it’s like having close friends dropping by for a pleasant visit! I love them!
🌼 you guys having to run into town does suck but the positive is look what you get to return to every single time🌼
You guys are so compatible when taking on projects .🤙I live just outside of Asheville. We got hit hard . Are used to live on the outer banks for 30 years never ever experience quite the devastation that’s happened here.
Love watching the animals be themselves, love the work, and wood makes it pop. Looks really nice u 2. Glad Greg u have recovered from ur injuries. Yall work so well together. Great video as always.😊
I love seeing Steve and the gang. The goats are so cute. Great job on the addition; looks wonderful.
That porch looks fantastic 😊 Stevie is sooo cute. Loved him pushing through the fence😂
Love seeing you two working together and funny seeing goats getting evicted from inside.
Saturday afternoon here in Sheffield UK is always made better by your videos thank you
I really enjoy your channel. Plus, I admire the love and respect that you show each other. Solid relationship!
🌼 the Canadian couple living my dream🇨🇦
🌼Your place is perfect and gorgeous. Be proud 🌼
Thank you, Greg and Katie, for explaining the rain screen and other methods. Your simple explanation, Greg, is perfect!
Back in the day before carbide we turned the blade around to cut tin. With carbide blades on a finish blade it cuts much better without reversing them. And it cuts quieter. 😊
Good morning Katie & Greg! Can’t wait to see the big plans!🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Stand to the side when working around your table saw then if it kicks it will not ram you. House is lookin great .
I love watching your goats! Especially Steve, such a cutie. House is looking so awesome great job!
Good morning Greg and Katie, love your opening to the videos. Steven won't fit through the fence soon..
Nice job on siding preparation 👏 👍
Hi Katie and Greg! You accomplished a lot in this vid and are making good progress. I laughed out loud watching Steve wiggling through that fence opening in the opening scenes. He has grown so much, that just might be the last time he fits through it 😉 That closing scene sky was beautiful. Have a blessed week and I"ll see you on the next one. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
I'm in SE Georgia and we are still dealing with the aftermath of Helene, no power yet. The fedex lady had 3 Jackerys that i could see on her truck and she said she had more that i couldn't see!
Hope you get power back soon
I say it everytime but it's true.
Your animals are gorgeous
This is why the mill needs to be covered. You mill ahead and store. Greg, of course, can build a drier shed
But yall need to be milling ahead of projects
Y’all’s goats are so cute! I agree there awesome!
Great job you guys, a beautiful sunset ending. Mic drop!
Sometimes it’s the little things that make the most difference on a job that makes it look like a lot of work has been done! Looks awesome guys! Also, that saw cutting the metal made MY ears ring as well, lol! Love ya both 😊❤
The addition is looking great .
Just a suggestion. When I cut longboards on my table saw like you were doing I've had that problem with the fence moving. What I do is I put a couple clamps on the back side of the fence to keep it from moving. The fact that when you're pushing really long boards it's easy to put torque on that fence and push it. You might give it a try only takes a few seconds to put those clamps on. Hopefully it keeps you from ruining any boards.
Enjoy the channel. Keep up the good work.
Looks like all the fussy stuff is almost done - looking forward to the siding!! Great Job - you two have come a long way!
On the exposed timber frame, get a brush and push the water sealant into the cracks, that house help there. Looking forward to that next one.
Yay soffits done, boards done!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Absolutely love the goats and the dogs
i use to cut 4 sheets at a time and installed 5-800 feet per week by myself for 20 years. structural aluminum contractor for 36 years so far
Turning the blade around to cut aluminum and plastic is also a better way. It cuts through without leaving bursting on the finished product and doesn’t throw metal chips everywhere. Alan
Ohh good new Saturday morning content.
Katie is a good worker!
eviniz cok güzel oluyor.. sağlıklı mutlu hep birlikte yasayın. türkiye samsundan kucak dolusu selam olsun. sizleri cok seviyorum
I finally got caught up with ur video projects of ur beautiful house.. I'm Mikey from the Philippnes Islands... This is my first comment both do better jobs of it.. Thank for sharing to us, peace n God bless...
Love watching your videos. Keep it going. Thank you
Good morning from North Ontario Canada I am also off grid
Busy,busy as a bee,looking great😮🌼🌾🍁🍂🇺🇲👍
You can buy diamond edged blades for the saw that works much better for cutting metal.
UN SALUDO CHICOS, FORMAN UN EXCELENTE EQUIPO, CONTINUEN ASI💪SALUDOS DESDE YUCATAN, MÉXICO 🇲🇽
Really looks nice ! Great work.
I don't know if you guys would be interested, but Tiny Shiny Home recently installed a gate actuator and a camera so they can manage their front gate. I don't think it was all that expensive, so I thought you might want to take a look and see if that is something you might want to do. There are probably other things you want more - I just saw that system and thought I'd mention it to you.
You're goat's smile a lot hi from Colorado Springs 😀
I love your goats too!!! 😁💚
You are getting there !!!!
Looking good. Nice work.
ca a l air d etre une bien belle region ou vous habiter et bravo pour vos travaux ; Catie et impressionnante bisous
Looking good!
Nothing wrong with using the store bought lumber, just added cost. The rough cut milled wood needs to sit about 1yr per inch thick, and that is just a wide estimate. How is the current solar setup working for you? How do you think winter will affect it, in terms of less light? It’s all looking good.
Great job
I used to frame houses in the 90s . There was no such thing as rain screen that I ever saw back then . We nailed the siding directly over the tyvek . Things have changed
Good job
Hard working ccouple ❤
Very very nice My friend
good job
Great video
Yeah, paint batches always seem to be different even with same colour labels.. buy extra of the ones you like for any emergencies later..
lol Stephen the goat is fun to watch. You folks are sometimes foolhardy but boy you work hard! Drill a well my advice.
One good thing for goats is that they eat grass and other stuff.
HOLA. DES DE ESPAÑA😊
❤ video Katie
Wow! 1st comment. Never had that good of timing before.
It works the best if yyou put that up with colored stainless Screws are it will cause it to rust.Katie & Gregg My Husband & Son are carparenter's if you luved here they would hire you and Gregg for their Crew ya'll do Great work lived the video.
Fully air drying milled lumber takes roughly one year per inch of thickness. Why don't you build yourselves a DIY solar kiln? It'd be a nice project.
Greate job, just a thought! How do you keep the bugs out from getting in by the open end?
First thing first the strom Helena was a huge hurricane and what it did was move on to land and it was so big it dump 20 or more of rain in like South Carolina and North Carolina and Georgia and the thing is they don't get rain like so there was hug flooding all over and because they are in the mountains it flooded all creeks and took bridges and people are missing and it hard to find people and every one is hurting and need supplies in that area so it will take so time
How often do you change the blade on the monster saw you have? and how many hundreds of dollars each new blade costs. as I wrote this question I realized that you can sharpen this blade - so could you explain the maintenance and care you give to the saw and its blades?
You don’t find your working height on the table saw a bit high? Same with the cutting of the soffit material. Did Kate have to stand on her toes to cut the material? Looks like a second set of sawhorses 3-4” lower might be useful. Clear coat is good but is only good for 2-3 years & then must be recoated. It breaks down in ultraviolet light exposure.
😊
Enjoy every show. Don’t be so quick to show your mistakes we all make them. Also the law of averages has no end Greg will hurt himself again if he isn’t careful and Katie please be careful to
❤❤
They electric or battery sheers that are made for that.
Now as far as wood I care if you let it set for 2 years it srink bend warp do all kinds of things so you just deal with unless use wood that has dried for 10 years we all have just use it as best we can
Daft question maybe - we don’t get them here - do you have termite problems as they do over the border in the U.S? Phil 🇬🇧
Silly goat😂
Are you going to update your channel logo with the addition on the house?
I don’t think we will anytime soon. The logo ended up costing way more than expected so we will stick with it for a little bit 😅
👍🏴
How come your buildings look like they’re on the wrong side sometimes
How much wood do you use in a season?
2-3 cords
You r going to have other accident, this time w the circular saw,you don’t hold the piece you cutting off and cut from the other side so the larger base of the saw is on the side that you are holding please
How far is it to town
30 mins to the edge
Your goats are fun, but they do seem more like pets. I've had goats and they are fun, but a serious pain in the ass if you are not ready for them. I can't even imagine having enough of them to get goat milk.
😊👍🌲🏡🐐🐓🌲🌲💕
Danger Danger
Quit using power tools if you can't put your hair up, and also your hood pull strings.
Katie girl have you ever caught your hair in a power tool? Pull it up and fasten it please
I really hate being the safety police, but you REALLY ought to put your hair up if you're going to be bending over and using a saw like that..... Just sayin'...
Great videos. But the amount of adverts is getting to the point we're I'm not watching the video I'm on norway and it's like 8 t0 10 adverts ridiculous
Again wow mistakes mistakes mistakes do it over and over
I agree 100% the better question would be why don't you have goats 8:31
❤❤
