This reel is amazing is butter better than the fd for sure I also like the color. I got the c3000xg as I do mainly salt water. It feels very solid as well
@@jandhtackle soon as the states get with the program and stop over charging for the same reels they make in Japan and sale in Japan I'll be glad to switch back to buying in the states. $323 out the door for free shipping , 3 days to go from Japan to my front door vs state side of $481.49 ( with tax ) have to pay to have the reels shipped and that will take 5 to 7 business days for standard shipping or pay another $25 to $50 for expedite shipping / over night and still won't receive it in 2 or 3 days. By buying straight from Japan I'm saving $158.49 just on the reel plus the shipping costs. So I would guess little over $200 I'm saving. I hate the small businesse mindset here's why. All twin powers are legendary classics not cheap mind but like anything you get what you pay for my 2015 version is still going strong
Exactly.
Just got one of these to go with my pair of 2020 twin powers . Nice reel can’t feel much in the way of upgrade but still a very very nice reel
Cool.

The older model/ version actually looks better ?
Personal preference.
I agree 😊
Solid!
Curious why 24’ is cheaper than last model, if new/improved?
I don't think it's cheaper.
Not cheaper at all. It's actually $20 more now
ITS EXACTLY THE SAME AS MY BASS PRO SHOPS GRAPHITE. MADE IN VIETNAM.
Which size would you recommend on this reel for inshore saltwater fishing. Mainly for stippers and blue fish for a m/mh rod.
5000
3500 w braid how big are those strippers over 20 lbs I’d say 5 k nothing less than a 4 k
@@jandhtackle5k is overkilll gtfo lol
Depends on how big the strippers. Anything from 3000 to 5000 be fine. But depends on size of the strippers
Real quality!
Yes!
when will the 5k sizes be in stock?
Next month.
Try Daiwa next time
Sure.
Anyone can tell me please new Stella coming out this year as well?
Thanks 🙏
It will come out in 2026. Shimano updates their reels every 4 years.
Nope
I have this same reel,do you know where the reverse reel switch is?
I don't think there is one.
The anti reverse switch is no longer on Shimano higher end reels. Thank God !!!
Is there a difference beteween twin power made in Asia and Europe?
Not really.
Spool depth and warranty are the only differences
Who designed it?
Shimano.
Certate 24 has nothing on this reel.
Are you sure about that???

Personally shimano reels are not what they use to be honestly they look kinda bad compared to the be diawa and Penn reels.

Loll Shimano.....
