  • Ran with PCA Schattenbaum, last session in Yellow before I got promoted to Blue(solo group). Obviously could’ve tracked out better coming out of the final carousel.
Car is 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, ran in Dynamic Mode to protect my faulty fuel pump. With race mode (less nannies cutting you off and better transmission logic), there should be at least 2 more seconds to gain.

A fellow QV track enthusiast! Thanks for subscribing to my channel. I just subscribed to yours.
I have some MAJOR custom modifications underway on my car. It performed so well at my last even that I'm having some custom work done to get up to -4.0* camber up front so I can run a square 10" wheel/285 tire setup. Going to run 4x 10" Technico wheels. The camber and wider track will allow me to carry more speed in the corners.
Also having a half cage made and will eventually get a bench tune from Ideal Race to make the power delivery more controllable.
I canceled my November 28 track event so I can get this work done. Hope to be done in time for the March 2022 event.

Hello Nicholas, thanks for the great info, I’m still completely stock at the moment, great to be able to follow your channel.
I noticed you’ve also switched the CCB to girodisc, how did those run and last? I’m considering swapping the rotor/pads too. Also very interested in how you able to adjust the front camber.

@@clark724 Hi! I swapped the CCB because I didn't want to spend $18k USD per year to replace them... that's how much I track the car. As for how they're holding up... I've done 8 track days on them now and it's looking like I can get 2-4 more days out of them. Best thing is I only have to replace the rings. Also mind you that I'm running Raybestos ST43 pads which are somewhat hard on the rotors. Also, stopping power is excellent, AND they get heat into them faster than the CCBs, so stopping power happens quickly, yet they cool very well becauase of the heat-pumping fins (centrifugal pump).
How am I getting so much negative camber up front to run a square 19x10 Technico and 285mm tires? Glad you asked!
I'm now in touch with Jay O'Connell of O'Connell Car Development. He's a race engineer of 30 years. His team is at Sebring this weekend, matter-of-fact. He's modifying my FUCAs like this:
      photos.app.goo.gl/jE3Pe4f33qLNckE6A
Having this adjustability as well as adding a 17mm spacer let's me run the rear QV standard tire setup on the front.
      Gonna be killer!!
      Stay tuned!

@@genyosai Yep cost is number one reason to swap. I have 5 track days on the CCB (may pushed way too hard on them), they are already peeling at the surface to a state where the pulsation is insufferable for daily driving. Glad to know the girodisk worked out well, just ordered mine ; ) Also looking forwards to see how 19/10 runs in front goes.
I looked at all your videos and saw you are also getting P008A issue. Did you get rid of it eventually? Maybe fuel pump replacement? Software updates? I had same issue when the car run into >10 min each session on my last track day, it always clear itself but come back on if I drive it hard for a while, very disappointing on track.

Hi. Is there a replay of your Bugatti Bolide at the Nordschleife? Is the run legit (stock car, vanilla Assetto Corsa)? How many laps did it take?

    • @clark724
      @clark724  2 года назад

Are you talking about this video? b23.tv/Q4HHxxy Yes I believe I still have the replay file. Yes It is legit, I did come up with a setup tho. AC is with sol and csp, nothing else. The physics of the mod (from ex-mod) isn’t great, car feel very soft thus need very careful brake/steering input. Think I peacticed a good amount of 10+ laps. Hope it helps
