I first saw the Giulia here in the states in 2018. A white base Giulia. I thought, wow what a beautiful car. Then I saw a red Quad at the Chicago auto show and fell in love. Although I can’t reasonably afford a Quad, I got myself a 2020 Giulia Ti Sport. Love this thing to death. Out of all the cars I’ve had this one truly speaks to me, even with just the 2.0T. Love the handling, the design, the interior, the power for a 2.0 is solid, and the uniqueness on the road. Still pretty rare out here in Chicago, so I don’t feel like a sheep in a 3 series or c class.

trust me the 1.9jtdm or the 2.0t here in my country push 45 psi especially the diesels only problem i saw they all share is the gearbox other than that its one of the best cars and engine i have seen

This is so rare.. most channels drive the most insane, rare cars but talk the whole time and their "raw" driving footage is often 1-2 minutes at best. I had this running for the full duration while cleaning my room and i totally forgot about it. it got me into a meditative state. Such a good sound!
Recently bought a Giulia Veloce from Zagame in Richmond - after years of BMWs, Audis, Mercs etc... if you like driving as opposed to tapping on ipads and twiddling with ambient lighting etc, then this is the car - and it's the last chance saloon. Everything european will turn electric soon enough inc Alfa next year - soooo happy to get my hands on one of the last cars that will make us smile.
I never had any interest Alfa Romeo until someone nearby where I live got a Giulia Quadrifoglio in the same color as the one in the video, I would say they are now some of my favorite cars on the planet. Definitly will be getting one someday. Great video 👍
Great video, you let the car do a lot of the talking, and what a brilliant soundtrack - That engine noise as you work up and down the gears is addictive and hypnotic! I have a 2022 Giulia Veloce Q2, my third Giulia Veloce since 2017 and it’s such a fantastic car to drive. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to swap out after 50k miles on each of them after 2-3years as I use them for both work and personal traveling. So with 130k miles under my belt I can safely say they have had rock solid reliability, been hugely entertaining to drive and they look amazing. Hoping to get a QF next time…..saving up and working hard!
Three cars doing 50,000km each is not the same reliability test as one car doing 150,000km. I love my 156 but I don't kid people, it was reliable up until the 150k mark and then it needed some major refreshments. Great brand but $$$

Great video. The Giulia Quadrifoglio is also my dream car. The sound of the engine is magic, it's pure pleasure. The Giulia Quadrifoglio is by far the best sport sedan on the market.
the best bang for your buck is the m3p if were talking about specs and no ice vs ev. just at the market rn u get better performance out of it its less than 50k brand new or a m340 and a single tweak simple mods and ur pushing easy 5 hund. but u cant beat the performance of the new m3p its faster for less money to make it run.

Too many car guys think we are there to see them, and they are not Jeremy Clarkson they are just not that interesting, honestly James May is an absolute riot compared to most of them. So way to go. Congratulations for getting this opportunity, as of the last two years I've been dreaming of one of these. I have a similar love for Alfa and for similar reasons, but maybe not as strong as yours. I'm 22 at the moment and it is absolutely a goal of mine to own one of these in the next 6-8 years (well unless something substantially better comes along).

Hi Ben. Enjoyed your video and your passion for Alfa Romeo. I currently own a 1972 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV which I've had for almost 14 years. I also had one when I was in Uni back in the mid 90's. I love the new Giulia cars and would love a QV version but would settle for a Veloce which I've driven. There is something magical about Italian cars and Alfa in particular. Look forward to more cool content!
I have had my Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 Diesel for almost 7 years now, It still gets looks, I can only imagine how many looks your new car will get, congrats!
@@ayyWIlliamz When I got mine it was already 10 years old at 80k miles. as you know almost any car that is near a decade old needs most its parts changed. So I have changed quite a bit of parts on mine and the parts are not cheap. But if all parts are working correctly it drives and performs like a dream.

It's literally the thing you'll be looking at the most and using the most during your driving. This one is unfortunately stuck in 2015 or so. Hence the new BMW M3 is a much better option with the beautiful curved display and the newest version of iDrive. Plus it has a manual

The giulia is a masterpiece I'm a very proud owner of a quadrifoglio is trofeo plus I own a beautiful brera also I'm now 60 years old my father got me into alfa and lancia when I was 12 also.ive owned 17 alfas and a number of lancia .along with alot of other makes. Alfa romeo a marque with soul and passion built in to every model .alfa are so deep in my heart.
We have the same shoes, now only the car is missing! I tried a Giulia QV in the franciacorta circuit here in Italy, it's a just fantastic car, good luck.
This one has all the good stuff too (exposed carbon roof, CCBs and Sparco seats). I have a 2019 Rosso Alfa in the same spec. They are very special cars. Great video.
You miss out on the digital instruments (a moot point) plus lighter and better tuned mechanical LSD with GTA suspension setup, but... congrats and happy driving the same! (Tecnico lightweight wheels too or heavier 5-holes?)
@@nessuno5403I was mainly pointing out that of the OPTIONS you can spec a QV with, this has all the good stuff. But since you decided to turn it into a pissing match, let me tell you a little about my car. It’s been fitted with Alfissimo’s GTA springs (so it’s lower and stiffer than an actual GTA) and GMS camber/caster kit (actual negative camber where stock QVs have zero), updated CDCM (GTAm calibration), BSPK forged wheels (20x9 and 20x10.5, lighter than Technicos) and a host of other tasteful modifications to make it even better than how it left the factory. The earlier cars (mine is a 2019) have superior steering feel, less sound deadening and feel much more raw. What I’m getting at is I don’t give a f*#k about digital instruments, goofy headlights,Technicos or a mechanical limited slip. I’m not missing out on anything my friend! But I am impressed that this car has CCBs, Sparcos and an exposed roof, like my car, as was my original comment. @jerseydirtbagmtb on Instagram if you wanna see a dialed early car that looks and drives better than a 2024…

Yeah, just love the Alfa brand! Owned the Giulietta Veloce for 5 years and loved everytime I got behind he steering wheel. Regrettably sold this baby for personal reasons, but am always thrilled watching clips of the Giulia. Would seriously consider purchasing one of their future concept coupes, should it eventuate.

The Quadrifoglio isn't even really necessary if you don't want to spend a lot of money, because the 2.0 turbo I4 with 280hp is almost the same fun to drive. Apart from the engine, almost everything is identical and close to 300 hp should be sufficient. I'm using a 2022 Giulia Veloce Q4 as daily driver and the car is simply awesome.
@@spice3767 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds is a really good result for a slightly chipped 2.0L 16V turbo I4! The all wheel drive of the Q4's helps a lot. I'll stick with it. Personally, I don't need a Quadrifoglio. The Q4 models are awesome and not much worse. The only thing that annoys me is that the four cylinder versions are just way too quiet out of the box. I would have liked more emotion in terms of exhaust sound. Of course, an I4 will never sound like a V6, but you can also get more acoustically out of a four-cylinder with the right exhaust system. Otherwise I love my Veloce Q4.

Guilia is a car I’ve always liked since HS, was going to get one but eventually went to college in the city so I didn’t need a car. Alfa’s are extremely underrated IMO

Awesome car! I love our 2.0 Veloce and can only imagine driving a QV. Sadly probably won't keep ours long with the way Alfa is going here in the states, really sad. If it wasn't for the state of Alfa and the crazy maintenance costs I would seriously consider getting a slightly used one cause you can get one for great prices.
Mopar Maxcare Extended Warranty bro. Something like $1500 for an additional 6 years/60,000 miles added on top of the factory warranty. Accepted by all Alfa dealerships

The giulia is a masterpiece I'm a very proud owner of a quadrifoglio is trofeo plus I own a beautiful brera also I'm now 60 years old my father got me into alfa and lancia when I was 12 also.ive owned 17 alfas and a number of lancia .along with alot of other makes. Alfa romeo a marque with soul and passion built in to every model .alfa are so deep in my heart.

I tried a Giulia QV in the franciacorta circuit here in Italy, it's a just fantastic car, good luck.
This one has all the good stuff too (exposed carbon roof, CCBs and Sparco seats). I have a 2019 Rosso Alfa in the same spec. They are very special cars. Great video.
You miss out on the digital instruments (a moot point) plus lighter and better tuned mechanical LSD with GTA suspension setup, but... congrats and happy driving the same! (Tecnico lightweight wheels too or heavier 5-holes?)
@@nessuno5403I was mainly pointing out that of the OPTIONS you can spec a QV with, this has all the good stuff. But since you decided to turn it into a pissing match, let me tell you a little about my car. It’s been fitted with Alfissimo’s GTA springs (so it’s lower and stiffer than an actual GTA) and GMS camber/caster kit (actual negative camber where stock QVs have zero), updated CDCM (GTAm calibration), BSPK forged wheels (20x9 and 20x10.5, lighter than Technicos) and a host of other tasteful modifications to make it even better than how it left the factory. The earlier cars (mine is a 2019) have superior steering feel, less sound deadening and feel much more raw. What I’m getting at is I don’t give a f*#k about digital instruments, goofy headlights,Technicos or a mechanical limited slip. I’m not missing out on anything my friend! But I am impressed that this car has CCBs, Sparcos and an exposed roof, like my car, as was my original comment.

Yeah, just love the Alfa brand! Owned the Giulietta Veloce for 5 years and loved everytime I got behind he steering wheel. Regrettably sold this baby for personal reasons, but am always thrilled watching clips of the Giulia. Would seriously consider purchasing one of their future concept coupes, should it eventuate.

The Quadrifoglio isn't even really necessary if you don't want to spend a lot of money, because the 2.0 turbo I4 with 280hp is almost the same fun to drive. Apart from the engine, almost everything is identical and close to 300 hp should be sufficient. I'm using a 2022 Giulia Veloce Q4 as daily driver and the car is simply awesome.
saying 280 should be enough compared to 505 hp... come on brother its like saying a 328I is enough compared to a M3

I’ve got the Veloce….tuning box drops 0-60 to 4.8…..but I still long the QV……just scared at the QV running costs…..
@@spice3767 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds is a really good result for a slightly chipped 2.0L 16V turbo I4! The all wheel drive of the Q4's helps a lot. I'll stick with it. Personally, I don't need a Quadrifoglio. The Q4 models are awesome and not much worse. The only thing that annoys me is that the four cylinder versions are just way too quiet out of the box. I would have liked more emotion in terms of exhaust sound. Of course, an I4 will never sound like a V6, but you can also get more acoustically out of a four-cylinder with the right exhaust system. Otherwise I love my Veloce Q4.

Guilia is a car I’ve always liked since HS, was going to get one but eventually went to college in the city so I didn’t need a car. Alfa’s are extremely underrated IMO

Awesome car! I love our 2.0 Veloce and can only imagine driving a QV. Sadly probably won't keep ours long with the way Alfa is going here in the states, really sad. If it wasn't for the state of Alfa and the crazy maintenance costs I would seriously consider getting a slightly used one cause you can get one for great prices.
Why not just keep your Alfa and enjoy. Costs are relative.
Mopar Maxcare Extended Warranty bro. Something like $1500 for an additional 6 years/60,000 miles added on top of the factory warranty. Accepted by all Alfa dealerships
@@sicilianstyle4517 that's the problem, lack of dealerships and more and more are closing. We have an extended warranty but if there isn't a place to use it then it's no good to me and I just don't want that headache.
