They're certainly all about the driving experience as they're really not that fast by today's standards but just the low height where it feels like your butt is on the road, wide mirrors and wide arse. Then you put it into corners and are amazed at how well it handles and that's before hitting the suspension switch. You honestly have to be a world class race driver to get everything from this car. Literally the most beautiful looking v8 mid engine Ferrari ever. It is absolutely stunning yet the form and the lines are rather delicate and understated. Most of all, the sound generated by that v8 engine completes the 355.

The very definition of Ferrari. For me, the most beautiful Ferrari ever made. The only car I would own just to look at. The very definition of emotion and exhilaration.
You’re not kidding. Im not going to go so far to say that its “the most beautiful”- and I’m really too tall to drive this (and most) Ferraris, but if I had the money I would consider owning a 355 just to “have it”. To stare at it and occasionally crank it and rev the engine.

The peaceful, relaxing sounds of a beautiful forest disturbed by the even more beautiful sounds of an F355 at full noise. The exhaust crackle on the overrun & the snick-snick sound of the gear lever in its gate is pure magic. Bellisimo!

If you are interested in buying an F355 definitely look into real world costs. It doesn’t cost anywhere near that much to service an F355 in the UK. Every three years I do a cambelt change and my independent Ferrari specialist charges around £3,000 ($3,800) and that’s the engine out service you outlined. In years 2 and 3 the interim service costs just over £700 ($900). The cars value in the last three years has increased much more than servicing, insurance & running costs combined so the car hasn’t cost me a penny. If you can make contact with your local Ferrari specialist ask them what their servicing costs are, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Sound is so important to a sports car. The 355 was never a very fast car, nor was it a perfect handling car, but my god it’s engine made up for it! The very reason that EV’s will always be an appliance to me rather than a car.
