Man, this one hits different! It's one of those rare videos where you feel like you're in the car, gripping the road with your feet instead of the wheel. Pure driving bliss!
@AndrinsGarage incredible video, man :D I'm sorry for my ignorance, but where's that mountainpass? You really récord that video in a Sunday? XD or isn't many people use that road?
No auto gearbox. No paddle shift. No onboard screen and cameras. No unnecessary electronic gimmicks. No electric motors. Just the pure driving experience that only a car with a sporty IC engine can provide.
I come from a country where there are no mountains. The biggest 'mountain' we have is a 300m hill. Everything is flat and all the roads are straight. I drove in the mountains for the first time this week, it is an absolutely unreal feeling. It feels like the car was meant for it, the corners were so amazing. And the experience was so worth it. This video captures the feeling very well. Great video, and greetings from the Netherlands!
Oh man that was so good, got goosebumps while watching. Porsche owner for decades here (mostly 911s), the 944 just brought me some nostalgia, thank you, beautiful!!! Subscribing right away.

I really appreciate the simplicity of this. It's great that it's only a few minutes long with no extraneous bits. Love the color, vibe, music. Nice work.
This is what made people fall in love with cars. The roar of a loud, polluting engine, just powerful enough engine. No driver assists. No technology. No 1200hp overkilling monsters. Just you, your machine, and the road.
Maybe it's just me but seeing so clearly down the road I'd be using both sides or at the very least, part of the oncoming lane when it's obviously clear...but then, I'd also likely lose it and punt myself over the edge into oblivion. Excellent work. Love the 944.
You know, when you go to driving school, the thing they mostly talk about on your way to getting your license is about "the freedoom of driving", what they mean by that is the freedoom to go from point A to point B and that is pretty much it, strict, repetitive, monotone. When I think of "the freedoom of driving", I think of this, being able to drive for the view, to actually enjoy and to truelly connect with the car as the true beast it is, no traffic, no restrictions, just you and the open road, this experience is something without a price, and I just wanted to say, you should feel proud for having the oportunity that most of us can only appreciate thro the view of a faint monitor, bravo.
