The only sad thing is that the lens was not an internal zoom. Unlucky, it kicks the ass of the 24-70 f2.8 in focus breathing and being a lot more parfocal.
That is very subjective. I am using the 28-70/2 for three years for events and weddings. Those 28mm are sometimes a limitation. With 35mm it would be very hard. Moreover the variable aperture kills the option to shoot in full manual mode which I use a lot when the amount of light is very on the edge.
@@KenTVtw Well, if I had to (from whatever reason), I would make it just with 28-70/2. But most often I combine 16-35/2.8, 28-70/2, 70-200/2.8, 40/1.4 and 105/1.4.
Your reviews and your videos are of mesmerizing quality!
Can you compare this to the 24-70 GM II?
as a canon shooter, i've VERY impressed that sony managed to squeeze the 28-70 F2.0 into the E-mount, you guys have a wonderful piece of kit!
Can you use 82mm filters with a 86-82 step down ring with no vignetting? Particularly with stacking filters
assume that you already have 1635gm and 70200gm, would you rather buy 2870f2 or 2470gmf2.8 for travel photo shoots?
2870f2

Sony finally catching up to Canon after 7 yrs…..bravo!
you mentioned the internal structure of this lens ?
F2 zoom?
Yes🎉
Yes. Has been here many years from Canon, now finally Sony made it too.
should’ve been a Fujifilm 18-35mm f2 😔
Idk man the zoom range ticks people off
So everyone that reviewed this lens was told specifically to take a dig at canon?
This might be more harmful than good in the long run.

Nah, 35-150 is still a better zoom.
