art alvarez Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess. So you find a featureless black metal rectangle on top of a near featureless piece of plastic with horrible ergonomics and horrible to CC more beautiful than a Browning HiPower, 1911, Sig 220,226,229,320 etc..., Beretta 92, HK USP and so many more? The reason Glock is so popular is due to the price. But most don't realize they will have to buy night sights and probably trigger, barrel and extended slide & mag releases to make any Glock equal to it's competition. So sure you paid $460 for your Glock but by the time you buy the add-ons your up to $830+ and by then you still don't have the best bang for your buck.

Its a plastic witch. Early plastics (1940s) had a bad reputation about breaking. The attitude was maintained up till the 70s. Throw in ONLY one safety and its on the trigger!! I thought the 9mm Glocks shot sweet. The muzzle flip in ANY bigger caliber turned me off.
I am not nearly as old as Barry, but I resisted it for a long time as well. "I don't want no plastic gun"... Then I started to EDC every day for 5 year... Yep, I love Glocks.
I have been a 1911 guy for 30 years but I must Admit I bought my first glock a few years ago I am on my third glock. I hate that I love my glocks. They just always work
The thing that gets me with Glock more so than ANYTHING is the Glock fan boys. The ones who swear you up and down they are the be all end all handgun, period. You mention any other brand that you own its junk.

Maybe because most polymer Stryker fired semi auto handguns are modeled after glocks. Either is a cheap alternative to glock or is a gun designer around glock "flaws".
@@שלמהבןישראל lol and the Glock was modeled after tge HK VP70 , SO what's your point? We are way past the point where Glock is the only reliable Polymer Framed striker fired handgun , 33 years have passed since the Glock 17's release, and within that block of time there are plenty of handguns that have releases that are either as good or better. In the end it's less hate towards the gin itself and more hate towards the annoying Glock suckers.
I love my new 6 Glocks, 19, 20, 23, 29, 40, and 43X. Used to be just a Sig and HK dude but lately been really impressed especially with the Gen5’s and Gen4 10mm’s. Great field carry guns, especially after I changed to the McNally trigger for each one.
I’ve had my gen 3 Glock 19 for over 3 years and have put thousands of rounds through it without any issues. Completely stock and it will stay like that forever. I’m looking forward to showing my children my first handgun I bought and show them the technology of a Glock from when I was their age. Even though the technology will most likely be very similar because if it ain’t broke they won’t fix it.
I don't hate glocks, I hate the Glock fan club. I'm embarrassed to admit I carry a Glock in some company Cuz the glocktards give the rest of us a bad name. If people would admit there are other guns out there I think people would hate "Glock culture" a little less.
I was a hater until I stopped being such a slob with my form and until I took alittle time to just slow down and get used to the trigger. Shooting a Glock has made me a better hand gunner in general. Im a Glock conver shooting a Glock Gen4 40 and loving it.
While I completely understand what your saying it has been my experience that 1911 guys are the most guilty of elitism. I recently bought another Glock and I could tell by the attitude of the salesman that he was not a fan of Glocks. He displayed an arrogant attitude and almost a disgust for Glock. I have been treated that way many times by Glock haters (usually 1911 lovers) just in conversations with gun store clerks and people I run into randomly. I hate being treated like I'm an idiot and don't know what a real gun is just because I like Glocks...with that being said I'm also disgusted by the elitist Glock only crowd who looks down on non Glock carriers and I refuse to treat people that way.
I was Just having this conversation with a guy today. We were joking about brand elitism, he likes Springfield xd's and so do I but as you know it all comes down to personal preference. The same can be said for caliber as well....well at least to a certain extent.
By the way, I wont give you a hard time about not owning a Glock, I'm just glad you own a gun and are therefore able to defend yourself and loved ones.
plenty of pistols now days are as good as a glock but with better ergonomics and even better triggers. Walther for one has better triggers and ergonomic and just as reliable.
I seen a bran new walther not work first try at the range and the guy says “that’s why I only carry a Glock” and I was trying to convince him that any gun can have issues from the factory and we argued. A year later he bought a Glock that didn’t work bran new out the box and I said “that’s why I only carry a walther”
@@theykilledjoel1496 lol, Glock fanboys are like a cult. Its just an oldest production plastic gun made...and hadn't been updated once. By the way I like Glocks and carry one, but it is what it is. Hate it when you buy a Glock you have to buy upgrades for it in order to bring it up to date with other manufacturers.
I don't own one because I don't find them aesthetically pleasing. However, I don't hate them because of that. I just, as a consumer, want to buy what I want to buy -- I like what I like. I may buy a Glock in the future, but for now I'm okay without one. I do, however, agree with some of the other comments in that Glock Fanboys are annoying. It's okay to like a brand or product and not judge others for not liking it just as it's okay to not like them and not judge someone for enjoying them. Either way, I miss Barry and I thank God Eric is still doing this stuff.
I’m a new Glock owner...got a good deal on a used Glock 19 Gen 3. So far, I love it. I’ve owned & shot quite a variety of other pistols. The only thing that I shot better right out of the case was a Walther PPQ. So far, I’m very happy. Call me crazy, but I wouldn’t mind a real thumb safety. I heard they were making those for the military bid that they lost to the Sig. I wish they would add a safety option or mod for all their models.
At the local range there is a Glock 19 in the rental case that the owner says has seen more use than a hooker in a Tajuna whorehouese and one of their most popular rentals and after years of just routine maintenance and countless thousands of rounds still works like a charm. Glocks aren't the only good gun out there but they are one the them.
Never again! I carry for self-protection only. Someone talked me into putting an aftermarket trigger in my Glock 43. Couple thousand rounds later my pistol on 12/2/2018 with the gun in a holster with the trigger fully covered fell on the floor AND DISCHARGED. Three safety’s failed allowing the accidental discharge (AD). I called the aftermarket trigger manufacturer. He was shocked and drove four hours to my home. He replicated the error many times on an empty chamber. He took the pistol to his shop to understand why it failed. I had him replace the aftermarket trigger with a stock Glock trigger. Glocks are not sexy, but they are reliable. I am 80 and have used weapons for 73 years. That was my first AD.
here from 2020 with a glock 43x and a 15 round steel shield arms mag. its pretty much a slim, light, and smaller version of my g19. and it just works, always. over 2000 rounds and not a single malfunction. may not be pretty as a 1911, but it was a hell of a lot cheaper, and its higher capacity and small enough to carry every single place i go.
It's not so much Glocks as it is the "Glock dudes". OH YOU'RE SHOOTING AN XYZ? AWW DUDE TRY A GLOCK. LOVE MY GLOCK BRO. SUPER TIGHT GROUPS BRO. BRO BRO BRO.

Here in 2022... Barry is still teaching and giving great opinion from beyond his mansion in heaven... R.I.P. brother your message is still helping the 2A community here in 2022..
I'm a gun traditionalist, I like steel and walnut, I like a traditional grip angle, don't like plastic. With that said, personal axes to grind put aside, the Glock may be the best all around semi auto ever made. I still don't necessarily like the ergos of a Glock, but that's just a personal quirk of mine. A Glock has nothing left to prove to anyone.
i used to hate the ergos of glock until i bought one and got used to it that big grip lets you get both hands on the gun i have fallen in love with them there great and so far no malfuctions my first glock is the gen 5 glock 19 im so glad i got this gun.
I have never been of the opinion that one has to find a gun that fits them or their hand perfectly. I have always thought one should just get used to and become proficient with what they have or what works well. I was not used to the way my first Glock felt in my hand but I adapted myself to it. I'm not a Glock fanboy but more of a Glock platform fan, specifically the mags and other guns that use Glock mags.
glocks are fine, its the owners, just like prius owners, this obviously isnt to say all glock owners are douches, we call them glocksuckers, but a great ammount of glock owners are convinced the glock is the only pistol that will work and bash any other gun made
***** nah, I went to a glock get together one time, I wanted to bash my own head in with a rock, the biggest congregation of douchers known to man, oh and fyi, im not a 1911 or glock fan
Lots of comments about Barry's shirt, and no one has said anything about the country music legend Johnny Cash shirt Eric has on. Nice shirt Eric. About the topic of the video, I really like my Glocks. Always faithful and goes everywhere with me. I've owned different Glocks over the years and I always shoot quality ammo, with that being said I can't remember ever having a malfunction with any of them. And I'm not just a Glock fan, I own many different brands of hand guns such as Springfield Armory, Smith & Wesson, Kimber, Colt and Ruger. They are all good guns.
If the older guy has been shooting Glocks since 1985 he was never a "Glock hater" as he claims. "According to company literature, the first Glock pistols imported into the U.S. came in January of 1986." What did he do, go to another country to buy it, somehow getting them to sell it to a visiting foreigner, and somehow get it back through customs? Doesn't sound like a Glock hater to me. Glocks were still obscure enough even in 1990 that the makers of Die Hard 2 thought they could get away with calling a Glock 17 a "Glock 7", claiming it was German, made of "porcelain", couldn't be detected by airport x-ray machines, and cost more than an airport cop made in a month.
MaximRecoil he could've been shooting them n not like them and took him awhile to get used to them? in those days only one gun. an H&K had an 18 round Mag and it was VERY expensive. a Glock had 17+1 rounds for about $390 back then. I think that in itself might have been enough to still shoot a Glock while hating it.
Before I carried a Glock every day for work I hated the things because they were so popular. I figured I had to hate anything that was that popular as a Glock. But after working with Glocks around my County with Transit Security since 2015 I have come to love my Glock.
I like what u said about hick being a tool. I use mine as a tool I have an old gen 2 I bought at a pawn shop that just stays in my truck it works everytime I. Shoot it and that’s it I just use it as a tool and it does the job fine I have other hand guns for fun and looks but it’s hard to beat the practicality of a glock
If you want it to be pretty, you can do a stipple job on it and a colored pin and controls kit. Matching mag drop button. Nice little custom slide back plates. You can do slide cuts, slide refinish and engravings. Mag baseplates. Magazine wells. Custom Trigger. There’s not a thing you can’t upgrade on it if you don’t like something about it. Looks or function.
+The Bluesman I'm pretty sure every gun maker puts some kind of "break in period" in their manual. It's smart to put at least 500 rounds through ANY gun you're going to have your life depend on. Expecting ANY gun to come out of the box and be ready to go into combat is kind of ridiculous. Sure, you'll get some that come out of the box and never break. You'll also get some that come out of the box with factory defects, that will never function properly until sent back for repairs. This applies to any gun manufacturer.
I don't hate Glocks, I dislike them. Grip angle, corrected w/ Gen 4, OK. Blocky, grip to fat BUT if I was allowed only one rifle and handgun it would be an AK47 and a Glock 19 . I went to the armorers school, the instructor had a POS 19 that looked like someone had taken a hammer to it. He had us move out to the parking lot, tied it to the bumper of his car and drove around for a few laps, the abuse finally stopped when the trigger guard broke. We returned to the inside range, tore it down and inspected it and reassembled it with the original parts and fired it .................... 'nuff said.
I started with 1911 .45s and still use/favor them along with Beretta 92FS/M9s, Sig Sauer P-226/Mk25s, P-220s, P-228s, P-229s, CZ-75Bs, Browning Hi-Powers, GLOCKs and S&W revolvers. I don't care for or own most of the new garbage that has came out in the last 5 years or so that all these greenhorns fawn over these days. It all looks like tactitard mallninja junk straight out of Star Wars movie to me. I have been doing this for 40 years in a big way. My personal taste in handguns reflects that entirely.....
Love my gen 3 26....only glock I own! Also love my M&P 9c ! It's all about having a gun that will work when needed...fortunately I have 2 9s that fit that bill!
I own several pistols. My favorite is my P226 Legion, but my G19 is a close second. I trust either with my life but I would choose the G19 if I could only have one gun. That size, weight, durability, reliability, accuracy, concealability, and simplicity make it a hard to beat package
Reliable? Yes. Durable? Yes. Comfortable? They're working on it... kind of. I have always been a Sig guy. The first pistol I ever fired was a Sig 226. I don't hate them, but my Sig bias means they aren't really my thing.
yea, because it's hard to know if the sig you get is going to be reliable or not. I know. I've had poor customer service with sig. especially recently with my p938. they charged me twice to send it back to get it functioning correctly on a brand new firearm. then by the time you get frustrated and trade it in on something else you lose roughly half of what you paid. I to was not a fan of glock for many reasons ,but I traded the sig in for a Glock 43 that has been 100% reliable not 90% unreliable. that's a fact!
I had a P226. It felt great in the hand and shot well, but it came from the factory with a rear sight that wasn't centered and a slide stop that didn't work. Maybe I got a dud, but for a pistol that set me back nearly $1000, that is unacceptable.
I liken comparing a Glock and 1911 to comparing a sexy redhead to a sexy blonde. I am not going to complain about having either in my hand! Have a nice day!
good on you to compare the blonde with the 1911, because she dumb as fuck and she aint reliable but she sure is pretty though, and we love her for just that reason.
oof! dang! got a wee problem with blondes I see. Yeesh! What was her name? Where does she live and whats she look like? Just so I know if I ever meet her to run the other way! LOL!
NO!!! the Beretta is the sexy redhead, the Sig is the sexy blonde, the Glock is the ugly brunette who won't make a scene during the family thanksgiving dinner but you wind up divorcing because she can't keep the lead in the pencil hate on the bitchy blondes and redheads all you want, but you stay up at night thinking about them, not the brunette who winds up taking you for everything in the divorce anyway but with less fun times to counterbalance it.
Here in Germany we said, when you can't shoot a Glock well, then you will hate them. Are you a good shooter with the Glock, you love them. That's it. 😊
My 17 has me set right, but it is hard not to like other 9 polymer pistols more with more comfortable grips and better aesthetics, but I do not miss and I never have a malfunction with my 17
I've found the opposite to be true, Glock fanboys/Glock Loyalists can be the most annoying people on the planet. Yes we get it you like your gun, but it's not inherently better than ours.
Probably because if you drop it someone will actually just hand it back to you. You drop a sig 226 or a cz75 or something like that and whoever finds it is gonna bolt into the shadows. A glock... nobody wants that shit... it's like the same as "hey man you forgot your payless shoes here you go" you leave your Jordan's in the locker room or some sweet wingtips... you'll never see them again. Glock is like a payless shoe and a Toyota tercel combined. Reliable... sure... but ugly and doesnt crash test well.
When you have a product that is extremely popular you will have those that just want to knock it for no real reason except to just be negative. Its lonely at the top.
I've carried a gen3 Glock22 for a year and I absolutely love it. Got me. Tho I did pick up a Taurus G2S a few days ago to see if a smaller gun is a bit more comfortable for me being a smaller guy. Loved the videos!
As of 2015, Glock fanboys are far more annoying. They go out of their way to comment on 1911 videos saying they're trash, outdated, etc. I don't see many 1911 or SIG people doing the reverse.
You have no idea. I'm watching a video about the Arsenal Strike One (a very cool Russian striker-fired pistol) and they are in full force. UGH I'LL STICK WITH MY GLOCK THANK YOU VERY MUCH
I see it all the time. People that hate Glocks generally are 1911 or Sig lovers. I see nothing wrong with 1911's. Although I have heard it takes some tweaking to get them to run properly. I have no first hand experience with them so don't know how true that is. My issue with them is limited mag capacity. Anyone who says "shooting twice is stupid" has never been in a gun fight.
It's beauty is in its reliability, affordability, and availability. These qualities are great. That said it's the Handa sivic of the gun world. Anything by sig kicks the snot out of the very best glock.
+Albert Einstein For the record I own a Glock 19, and like it just fine. That being said there are guns theses days that offer a little better value out of the box. The Sig P320, which I also own has a hell of a nice trigger and night sights for around the same price of a regular stock Glock. My comment wasn't in reference to my dislike of Glock, but rather the posters of this video who say people who don't like Glock don't just because of the sights, trigger, and feel. Well shit if I don't like any of that then it must be I don't care for the firearm right? Quit acting like the typical butt hurt Glock fanboy. It's annoying.
+Albert Einstein actually, the ONLY nice thing about a glock trigger is the short pull/reset. they are MUSHY as fuck and really arent that light compared to others, especially single-actions. also, the sights dont fucking matter if they're "dead on" it matters how HE can use them, so maybe they suck for him. personally, i HATE the 3 dot sights, but i love love LOVE the new glock U and dot sights, those are excellent!
In my opinion Glock is the best hand gun in the world. My grip with Glock is I have never found a model that fits my hand and something called Glock Finger. I am so impressed with Glock I gave a model 19 to my son as a wedding gift. I wanted him to have the Best.
Yeah, but they're not bad enough for New York City cops. NYPD is so bad at gun handling that they requested a special designed trigger. The NY trigger that was designed for their Glocks had an 8 pound trigger pull. And cops were still negligently discharging them. So they created the NY2 trigger with a 12 pound pull weight. It's absolutely awful.
think the best description of glock I've heard was "glock is the honda civic of guns" its not the most accurate, not the best handling, not the best looks… but it works. and will keep working. and i don't hate glocks i ail likely buy one one but its because of reliability… but it would likely be a range gun only simply due to comfort.
I've heard that comparison as well and agree with it wholeheartedly. I drive a honda civic for my commute to work. Good mpg, comfortable, runs like clockwork. But when I want to go out on the weekends for a nice drive or to hang with friends I might drive my 56' belair or 89' sierra. Kind of like how I might choose between my glock, 1911 or Smith. The people that will never put down their glock and trash everything else are just extremely close-minded and are missing out.
It's really supposed to be uncomfortable. It's designed so most of the recoil is going back twards your arm instead of torquing up. So you can sight in your target quicker in between shots and put more rounds down range faster.
First video recommended to me after literally getting home from purchasing my first gun: a gen 2 glock 17. spot on algorithmic profiling if you ask me.
I like how some people who love Glocks so much that they replace 80% of the factory parts with $1000-$1500 worth of aftermarket parts and still call it a Glock.
J D I can concur, the m9/92fs just felt right in my hands, weight, large trigger guard, ambi safety. Glocks are great too, but are a little pricey for what a person gets.
I used to have an all steel Jericho 941 semi compact. All little heavy for sure. But just as reliable and in close quarters you could use it as a club. Trained on Flocks when I was a corrections officer no complaints there either.

I love how simple glocks are
I'm a convert to Glock fandom. However, I still admire, appreciate, and own other pistols. Just be cool, everyone.
I am not nearly as old as Barry, but I resisted it for a long time as well. "I don't want no plastic gun"... Then I started to EDC every day for 5 year... Yep, I love Glocks.
“The Baby Glock, The Momma Glock, and the Papa Glock”!
Gotta love those Papa Glocks! 17,21,22 and 31
I have been a 1911 guy for 30 years but I must Admit I bought my first glock a few years ago I am on my third glock. I hate that I love my glocks.
They just always work
The thing that gets me with Glock more so than ANYTHING is the Glock fan boys. The ones who swear you up and down they are the be all end all handgun, period. You mention any other brand that you own its junk.
Found the Springshit owner
@@whiteyfisk9769 yup I own several springfields and would go gun for gun against your goofy ass and your hipoints. You prob dont even own a gun hell id take your pellet rifle kid. Wanna put your super rare block 19(you're obviously one of the glocktards people are referencing in the comments) up against my CZ shadow? Didnt think so.
Apple, Tesla and Glock fanboys are insufferable.
@@pwn3426 u carry a cz shadow? You’d look sorta goofy carrying that thing around . cool gun nice for shooting competition and Even a gun fight but it’s not a 500$ general purpose sorta gun.
One reason is we are tired of hearing glock, glock, glock, glock, lets compare everything to a glock even a cross bow🤨
Maybe because most polymer Stryker fired semi auto handguns are modeled after glocks. Either is a cheap alternative to glock or is a gun designer around glock "flaws".
Absolutely. I don't like Glocks, but I don't hate them. I hate Glock fanboys.
A Glock has a larger magazine capacity then a crossbow 😂
@@שלמהבןישראל lol and the Glock was modeled after tge HK VP70 , SO what's your point? We are way past the point where Glock is the only reliable Polymer Framed striker fired handgun , 33 years have passed since the Glock 17's release, and within that block of time there are plenty of handguns that have releases that are either as good or better. In the end it's less hate towards the gin itself and more hate towards the annoying Glock suckers.
@@tupacshakur1568lol crossbow doesn't have a magazine.
23 and 19 love them
My Glock 17 is the most reliable handgun I've ever owned. Keep in mind I haven't owned a whole lot of handguns. I trust my life with it.
Its not Glocks, its Glock fanboys and fangirls whom treat you or talk down to you if you are not part of their Austrian wonder gun
Damn you evil empire. You got me again.
So just like AK, Katana or Honda Civic fanboys
@@MilesTraveler exactly
I don't have a problem with Glocks, they're just not my favorite.
I don't hate Glocks, I hate the tactical elitist who own Glocks.
Joseph Haurik oh I agree I put 1911 elitist in the same vain as glock elitist. I get shit from both because I don't own either one.
The caliber debate is one argument I can't stand. I say carry what you are accurate with.
plenty of pistols now days are as good as a glock but with better ergonomics and even better triggers. Walther for one has better triggers and ergonomic and just as reliable.
@VitalyMack - I’m a Walther fanboy and agree with your opinion. That being said, my buddy owns several Glocks and he swears by them.
"Just as guuud"
VitalyMack agreed I have flocks no hate to them, and 100% Glock fanboys are like a cult lol
Barry rockin the Danzig T-shirt.
RIP my man.
I love my G19. My every day carry.
Also, is he wearing a Danzig shirt? F***in sweet!
Laus
At the local range there is a Glock 19 in the rental case that the owner says has seen more use than a hooker in a Tajuna whorehouese and one of their most popular rentals and after years of just routine maintenance and countless thousands of rounds still works like a charm. Glocks aren't the only good gun out there but they are one the them.
"Pffff, glocks are sooo mainstream."
Is probably the inner though of every glock haters.
Glocks have their place. So do Sigs and CZs and HKs and Berettas (;
And S&W and FN and Steyr and and and...
And DeWalt and Makita.
CZ 75 is my gun, Why? Don't have a real logical reason but the gun you have will always beat the one you don't.
Just bought my first Glock. actually, I bought two glocks lol. I got a g43 and a 17. I am very impressed
I want two G43s, halfway there
Barry wearing a Danzig t-shirt! Just an example how cool the man was. You are missed, Barry

Hahaha bro bro brooooooo
I have always said ergonomics are the last thing that will matter in a real struggle. Reliability is what will matter.
The problem is people act like u can’t upgrade a firearm and retain reliability it may cost more but it can be done
glocks are fine, its the owners, just like prius owners, this obviously isnt to say all glock owners are douches, we call them glocksuckers, but a great ammount of glock owners are convinced the glock is the only pistol that will work and bash any other gun made
I prefer glock-tard, but yes you are correct, I went for an M&P just because I didn't want to be one
Really Sarge see i feel its the other way around glock been the black sheep forever!! Its the 1911 crew thats the die hard douches....
***** nah, I went to a glock get together one time, I wanted to bash my own head in with a rock, the biggest congregation of douchers known to man, oh and fyi, im not a 1911 or glock fan
LMAO i hear man!!
Travis Bickle it's childish not to buy a pistol just because you're afraid some other childish idiot will call you a name.
MaximRecoil I said the same thing out loud
MaximRecoil
he could've been shooting them n not like them and took him awhile to get used to them? in those days only one gun. an H&K had an 18 round Mag and it was VERY expensive. a Glock had 17+1 rounds for about $390 back then. I think that in itself might have been enough to still shoot a Glock while hating it.
MaximRecoil I was wondering if anyone else remembers the Die Hard part :)
Occam's razor: he probably misspoke and meant 1995.
Before I carried a Glock every day for work I hated the things because they were so popular. I figured I had to hate anything that was that popular as a Glock. But after working with Glocks around my County with Transit Security since 2015 I have come to love my Glock.
I've had a Glock since the late 80s and I still carry it over everything else! Great video about a great gun! Good job guys!
Just curious how long have you had that same gun and does it still run?? 😄
My hubby has a 17 and a 20. I actually like the glock triggers. I just picked a 19 gen 3 for myself :)
Good vid guys
Some people hate glock cause it's a pretty shitty pistol in Counter Strike.
Probably mainly that haha
ironic, since the cs glock doesn't even exist XD
no, the glock in cs:go doesn't exist, there has never been a glock with burst fire, period.
I am very much aware of the G18's existance.
Like the Danzig shirt.
I admit it. I was a GLOCK hater. but now ,I want the government to recognize my marriage to my beloved GLOCK. it's old and rusty but still so trusty.
THAT is what people hate about glock. The fanboy effect.
I just went to the dark side and got my first glock, a 21
Madd Hatter 👍you won't be disappointed
"Why do people hate Glocks?"
Because they're wrong.
Extremely well made. They only had the largest firearm recall in history!
Really I didn’t know it
Exactly what an awesome history they have
@@leudysespinal6310 i think that the old guns in 40sw and 10mm were exploding or something
Glock: Reliablility of the AK, Customizability of the AR. Only wusses complain about the grip. My hands are medium and the big Glock 20 fits fine.
+FlyTour69 i don't like plastic on guns. I would still use them I love Glocks and everything but nothing like an old 1911
+David Mendez -- I don't guns with a 500 round break in period before you can expect it to function correctly.
grip angle can mean the difference between hitting a target or not in a fast draw and shoot scenario.
+james ozment 😂😂😂😂
'nuff said.
I still carry a 1911 i perfer 1911 like i prefer chevy
It's not Glocks its Glock owners that suck. I don't want to be in that class of people lol. Great guns though.
You should rethink that.
DonnieHoWaRd0889 That makes no sense at all. If you owned a glock would that automatically make you act a certain way? Just from owning it?
DonnieHoWaRd0889 hahaha you triggered a bundle of dem glock fanboys.
Roger Autry ever shot a beretta? Heavy trigger but fires every time.
Sigs are nice if your a billionaire
Billionaire? Really?
yea, because it's hard to know if the sig you get is going to be reliable or not.
I love my p226. It’s a great gun that’s never failed
I had a P226. It felt great in the hand and shot well, but it came from the factory with a rear sight that wasn't centered and a slide stop that didn't work. Maybe I got a dud, but for a pistol that set me back nearly $1000, that is unacceptable.
I love my G21 and you'll have to pull it from my "cold dead hands" for me to EVER switch!
I know this is an old video, but FREAKIN AWESOME SHIRT MAN!
I love my early gen 3 glock 22
I liken comparing a Glock and 1911 to comparing a sexy redhead to a sexy blonde. I am not going to complain about having either in my hand! Have a nice day!
good on you to compare the blonde with the 1911, because she dumb as fuck and she aint reliable but she sure is pretty though, and we love her for just that reason.
oof! dang! got a wee problem with blondes I see. Yeesh! What was her name? Where does she live and whats she look like? Just so I know if I ever meet her to run the other way! LOL!
NO!!! the Beretta is the sexy redhead, the Sig is the sexy blonde, the Glock is the ugly brunette who won't make a scene during the family thanksgiving dinner but you wind up divorcing because she can't keep the lead in the pencil hate on the bitchy blondes and redheads all you want, but you stay up at night thinking about them, not the brunette who winds up taking you for everything in the divorce anyway but with less fun times to counterbalance it.
mk45gunnr you men having my hand in either* lol
Here in Germany we said, when you can't shoot a Glock well, then you will hate them. Are you a good shooter with the Glock, you love them. That's it. 😊
....you mean after you drop 600$ on aftermarket parts.
+Thunderbolt22A10 The most annoying people on the planet would be anime fans.
Wuggles lol upset that I called glock fanboys out?
Thunderbolt22A10 Upset about animeboys tbh
Wuggles lol
Sckarekrow then why did the beretta 92 beat it in reliability during the M9 trials?
I have many different makes of handgun. I carry my Glock.
@@BushmasterRaZ does that mean the court is more likely to give a Glock back after a self defense shooting?

I've carried a gen3 Glock22 for a year and I absolutely love it. Got me. Tho I did pick up a Taurus G2S a few days ago to see if a smaller gun is a bit more comfortable for me being a smaller guy. Loved the videos!
I have 6 I dislike them that much.
Barry Newman Lol. I have two. Considering the 44 and a 38.
I own every glock, even some extra ones. You are not glock fanboys. Are you Austrian? I am.
As of 2015, Glock fanboys are far more annoying. They go out of their way to comment on 1911 videos saying they're trash, outdated, etc. I don't see many 1911 or SIG people doing the reverse.
That's kinda lame to say 1911 are outdated man you must of had some mean glock fanboys comment.
You have no idea. I'm watching a video about the Arsenal Strike One (a very cool Russian striker-fired pistol) and they are in full force. UGH I'LL STICK WITH MY GLOCK THANK YOU VERY MUCH
i mean i'm a Glock fan but i'm not one to trash other guns...have loads of respect for the 1911 etc.
+The Tokinjoo I guess you've heard the term double tap...
My yearly rewatch you look so young.... long live the awesome that was Barry. Thanks for the info and the memories y'all.
It's beauty is in its reliability, affordability, and availability.
These qualities are great.
That said it's the Handa sivic of the gun world.
Anything by sig kicks the snot out of the very best glock.
Exactly.
And Honda's dont crash test well.
If I don't like the trigger, the sights, and the feel, sorry I don't like the gun.
Glock factory sights are dead on pal and the trigger is pretty fucking crisp
+Albert Einstein Good guns, but the standard triggers are anything but crisp
+Albert Einstein
For the record I own a Glock 19, and like it just fine.
Glock's Rule!
I almost spill my coffee when Eric started taking out the glocks. 😀
I forgot about that part! 🤣
Why buy a glock when you can have an HK
......what's a "glock"?
Is it Austrian for HiPoint?
Gaston Glock, the founder of the company. I'm sure you probably know that already.............LOL...............
That's funny
Glocks are mainstream
Euro excellence
In my opinion Glock is the best hand gun in the world. My grip with Glock is I have never found a model that fits my hand and something called Glock Finger.
I am so impressed with Glock I gave a model 19 to my son as a wedding gift. I wanted him to have the Best.
Glock is fine I just like other guns a little more
+Slice of Cheese Which gun? Let me guess 1911?
No, I like sigs and hks and fns more
+Slice of Cheese - HK P7 M13 for the win ;) ....also loved my Browning Hi-power in the old days.
If it ain't broke don't fix it
***** They are outdated imo.
+General Gaige Outdated, yet one of the most accurate guns still last I checked.. aand it is still thee most copied handgun.
"good triggers" since when? glocks have the worst trigger of any handgun
Dude no. Just no
think the best description of glock I've heard was "glock is the honda civic of guns"
its not the most accurate, not the best handling, not the best looks… but it works. and will keep working.
and i don't hate glocks i ail likely buy one one but its because of reliability… but it would likely be a range gun only simply due to comfort.
Agree but accuracy with my glock was never an issue real tight grouping.
Other way around! Glock for Self Defence,1911 for Range! For so many reasons! I own many hanguns. Glock is a TANK!
It's really supposed to be uncomfortable. It's designed so most of the recoil is going back twards your arm instead of torquing up. So you can sight in your target quicker in between shots and put more rounds down range faster.
they are also the chevy small block of guns. utterly reliable, parts everywhere and cheap, can make it up anyway you want
I have a glock 35! Love it!! Had it for 15 years
First video recommended to me after literally getting home from purchasing my first gun: a gen 2 glock 17. spot on algorithmic profiling if you ask me.
I like how some people who love Glocks so much that they replace 80% of the factory parts with $1000-$1500 worth of aftermarket parts and still call it a Glock.
Lol, I've done that... It's fun to hop up a Glock.
I replace nothing on my Glocks. Any part I do change is a factory part
Can be said of AR and AK too
I like Glocks just fine, but I prefer my Berettas.
RIP Barry, we'll miss you all the time to the end. You're a great person.
