    It’s all fear. It goes no deeper. You can track it. When the fear is down symptoms go down immediately. When it’s up it’s there.

    Thank you, Dan. I printed the 11 mistakes and put them in every room of my house where I am forced to see them no matter where I am... and I'm going to memorize them so that everywhere I go outside the home, there they are with me.

    I have 0.0 doubt if it is Tms in my case or not. It is! In my opinion pressure is the main cause of my symptoms. Everything i do is with intensity, not with ease. I know it is tms, i did the assesments. But that doesn't mean my heart prefer a rhit'm even as my breath. When i push myself, my heartbeat is to fast. Then the racing thoughs starting. All the pressure i put on myself mets a need: recognition.
    No i know: yes it s Tms. But still i have to go mindfull in the present moment with all the things i do. I have to live that, only the knowledge is not enough. The yin chase the yang would Steve O said..... thanks Dan. For all the effort you do to help people.

    Guys no mantras will leads you anywhere...if u say you are safe...your mind will ask you..why are you safe..why you say this...ask yourself why you have symtomps? Answer is stress hormones in body...why stress hormones is there in body...because of our worry or reaction to symtomps...so dont worry.. let the symtomp be there...less worry leads to less stress hormones that leads to less symtomps..so with less worry we give our body chance to heal...we have to create environment of less worry...body will do the rest...body knows how to heal...we just need to get out of way

    It's the brain that creates the very same symptoms for a cold/flu/covid and for non-pathogenic, non-contagious, allergy. During onset it's pretty hard to tell the difference, even using the charts you have provided. I work in close contact with people every day. It's important I know the difference. It's hard for me to not be concerned or stimulate a fear response. I do know that because of my ME/CFS I cycle in and out of these very same symptoms regularly. This is where I really want to use these techniques. But its hard for me to be confident which is which. Suggestions?

    I am taking long-term Diazepam not a large amount each day and I have a lot of fear around the medication doing damage to my nervous system and have panic attacks because I feel like it's contributing to my chronic pain yet there are people who take it you don't have pain. I know you don't deal with medication issues but I don't understand why the fear is so great. 🙏

    • @Inge508

      I was on benzodiazepines for 10 years.. a very small dose that helped me fall asleep as I needed to go working with already lots of chronic pain.. after I stopped my career, I slowly tapered it off. My nervous system is not damaged, at all.. I feel mentally stable despite lack of sleep and pain.. if taking it freaks you out, why would you take it any longer?
      Those medications are for short use, but your nervous system is strong . Don’t go into catastrophic thinking, just use your common sense ..
      Wishing you well ❤

      How can I taper off Xanax 2mg daily slowly and safely and still get sleep? I've been on them daily for 7 years.

    • @Inge508
      @Inge508 3 месяца назад

      @@D-NastyNoiseI’m not a doctor but once I felt ready to let them go, I set up a calendar and time- line.. I went in a couple of weeks from 2mg to 1.. ex 6 days 2/ 1 day 1.. then 5 days 2/ 2 days 1.. if I started to feel too agitated I stopped tapering and stayed on that level.. from 1 to 0 , it took me about 8 months.. I just followed my gut feeling.. most important was to get them out of my routine.. I’m not yet a perfect sleeper but I sleep enough to function daily.. All the best for your healing ❤️‍🩹

    What does it mean trying to fix pain? I use ice packs for headaches and oils for muscle pain.

    • @Inge508
      @Inge508 3 месяца назад +5

      I use those too just as a way of selfcare! Fixing for me is obsessively trying to get rid of the symptoms/ pains.. that adds more danger to your brain 🧠

    Dan,
    Did you think your way out of pain or Act your way out??

    • @onildilig60
      @onildilig60 3 месяца назад

      It is easier to think, but not act.
      How can you act that you are not in pain .example , if your employer asks you to lift something heavy, are you gonna act like you can do it? Happened to me.
      Im thinking im good.but when it's time to do the task, your body cant.....

    • @onildilig60
      @onildilig60 3 месяца назад

      The challenge is how to convince your brain that you are ok when you cant do the things you normally do. We need to make our body strong. If the medical world fail to fix herniated discs, then we can just hope that our body will heal itself.
      I had back pain several years.
      Got a little better in time.
      Then came back.
      TMS teaches us not to fear.
      This is true especially for herniated discs.
      We need to stay strong mentally until our body heals in time....
      When in doubt, try the tms approach anyway. There is no downside as dan says.
      Unless you want to try surgery ,which should be the last resort.
