Joji never really grabbed me as a recording artist in the past, I preferred his goofy raps in the past. This though. This is his best song, as you said, and probably my favorite single of the year as of now.
A tastefully updated 80’s rock ballad, gave me some Journey feels sprinkled with dope. Use of bass to accentuate those guitar and drum hits on the chorus was a stroke of streamlined genius. Like it. Like it a lot.
If we never had Filthy Frank we potentially never would have had Joji get to where he is. There’s a million and one people trying to be the next big thing these days and I wholeheartedly think his massive fan base from his earlier days gave him a platform to have his talents as a singer noticed. To be honest, up until recently his singing didn’t sound that great - the beats to his Pink Guy music and Chloe Burbank stuff were awesome though. As much as he tries to distance himself from his old life, he should embrace it. He did something unique, something people loved and something he loved doing for a time too. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. The fact that his TVFilthyFrank channel has grown by about 200K subs in the past 4 months says something about the influence this guy has considering he hasn’t uploaded a video on that channel in more than 2 years. I love his old stuff, I love his music and wish there was some way for him to be able to do both. Its a shame that his comedy took a toll on his health and some of his fan base were shit. Either way I support him and am happy for him to be making good money doing something he loves.

Honestly I love this track it's so fire. The guitar solo on there just blew me away like damn definitely not what I expected but it is one of my favorites from him.
Nah, this track is phenomenal! Only love for this. It feels like what I wanted to hear following Slow Dancing, that dramatic and bold balladry that I've been feeling he could do since hearing Slow Dancing. So goddamn excited for more and absolutely mesmerized with this
There was one part in the so g where his vocals were pretty powerful and caught me a little off guard. Gold star
This was this year? Only 7 months ago? This year is like 3 years and a half put into one
I'm no music expert, but this song's style kinda reminds me of the Arctic Monkey's album Tranquility Base Hotel
Also I LOVE Joji, this song is amazing
Aha, a fellow human of taste.
I was thinking the same thing! Fantastic album by Arctic Monkeys & fantastic song by Joji :)
I like both of those but I dont really see where you're coming from
I heard it too!! Oh my lord, I thought I was the only one 😔
Joji never really grabbed me as a recording artist in the past, I preferred his goofy raps in the past.
This though.
This is his best song, as you said, and probably my favorite single of the year as of now.
Who is here waiting for him to review nectar
A tastefully updated 80’s rock ballad, gave me some Journey feels sprinkled with dope. Use of bass to accentuate those guitar and drum hits on the chorus was a stroke of streamlined genius. Like it. Like it a lot.

Jane Hurley No he hasn’t
Jane Hurley That was just a 5 hour compilation of every time melon said the n word. Wtf is wrong with you
Jane Hurley I don’t appreciate getting rick rolled. I’m going to have to flag you
Been listening to this on replay; thanks for finally giving me an opinion about it.
3/10 not enough n-words in it- Anthony Fantano 2020
2:05 me everytime I hear a new joji song
I’m actually getting excited for his next album whenever that may be
you dont like king krule because you think gingers dont have souls

Melon needs to step up, new Krule song was smooth as an egg
